I don't know what to tell you other than get the full signature menu with the wine pairings. We were fortunate to be in the area during outdoor seating weather. If you can, time your reservation with the sunset for that day so you can observe it over the lake. Service is exceptional otherwise they'd not have their stars. This has been a meal we almost cried for how perfect a dish was. Highly recommended.

…. since 15 years in Amstelveen. Located in a suburbian area of Greater Amsterdam area next to a lake ( which gives the restaurant the name ) „Aan de Poel“ stands for excellency in food and service. We chose the Chef‘s menue and had pleasure for good 3 hours with 5 courses. 100% attentive and professional service guaranteed. The food anyway is amazing. Pictures included.

They also had an eight-course Signature Menu, but we were way too stuffed after this one, I knew we would not have been able to fully enjoy the other longer meal. Each dish was beautifully presented and consisted of the freshest local ingredients, largely seafood Atmosphere 10/10 Absolutely STUNNING views over the lake, located in a quiet neighborhood near Amsterdam. Gazing out at the lake as we drank some champagne and enjoyed some amuse bouche was such a vibe. Spacious interior, all the details were super intricate and it was a great place to enjoy the sunset and gaze at the stars once the meal concluded. Service 10/10 Super accommodating service, friendly and not snobbish at all.

Just a fabulous restaurant - maybe the best in Amsterdam and deserving of a third star - formal but down to earth - the highlight was a phenomenal sommelier who was incredibly talented

This is not only the best restaurant in Amsterdam it is one of the best anywhere - top to bottom perfection. Particularly of note was an amazing sommelier who had exquisite taste and amazing confidence

1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Aan de Poel Amstelveen to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Aan de Poel Amstelveen!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
