Adalina Chicago Reviews
One of my favorite Italian spots in the city.
Happy hour is the best. Drinks specials are great, and the happy hour menu is delicious. $2 oysters, fresh and cold! Two of their meatballs for $9! The polenta cake is awesome, spicy and creamy all at once. Main menu, octopus is so tender. T
I had a really great experience at this restaurant.
The food was fresh and full of flavor, and everything tasted like it was made with real care. The service was excellent

I am not even sure where to begin.
The food was underwhelming. I had the clam chowder and it was gross. The crudo was ok. My wife had the truffle Caesar it was ok as well. When the entrees and sides came the waitress spilled the sides all over my coat. She tried to get it off but it w
5/5 no notes! This was one of my most memorable meals.
We got the Lobster Pasta + added the white truffles since they were seasonal and leaving the menu. The Yuzu steak was incredible. Each dish is shareable with 1-3 people in my opinion, the servings are generous. For dessert we could choose just 1

Had dinner at the bar.
Service was excellent and fast. Had the Parm Tini and a delicious pasta dish. Not cheap but high quality.
Service is very good.
The atmosphere is hip (and noisy -- the dining room was 3/4 full when we were there and it was loud). The food is just okay.
Went for my birthday on Friday.
I don't know where to start! We arrived early. The hostess asked if we wanted cocktails upstairs or in the Rose Lounge. I told her I didn't know where that was. I won't spoil the surprise but there is a secret door and a speakeasy whe

It was good, not great! Wine selections are strange.
We had the salmon, lamb, artichoke, bread. All good, but not life changing. Cookies for dessert very good! Server was just ok, hard to understand her!

Two things you must try: charred octopus with horseradish goat cheese and duck mole lasagna. We definitely went out of our comfort zones with those two dishes and WOW, not one regret. The spread under the octopus was so so good, we've never had
Waitress had an attitude.
The wagyu steak for $135 was awful. Tasted like I was eating fat and it was about 4oz. I had to pick up fast food on the way home. Ridiculous for $327.
So. So. Loud.
Excellent food and exceptional service. Just go with people you don’t want to have meaningful conversations with. Otherwise a fun night out. The duck lasagna is a strange dish though.
Not a great meal.
Forgot a few dishes and the menu is not gluten free friendly. Several dishes had gluten when they didn't have to, it was frustrating to order. The server was fine but didn't get much support. No need to go back.
Went there for a special dinner.
Interior is more old school/formal and was packed when we went. Very tasty handmade pasta. Shrimp lumache was perfectly cooked and spicy. Oysters were very fresh. On the pricier side, so definitely more of a special occasion meal.

I wouldn’t recommend this venue for a private group dining experience. The reservation process was frustrating—communication was inconsistent, with days passing between responses. This was meant to be a special graduation dinner, yet they misspel

You have to hit this spot!
It starts with a fun atmosphere. The staff gets customer service and they know the menu. The apps were amazing and the main course is as good as any you’ll have in the city. This place is a must do. See photos.

A good time
I visited Adalina for Easter Brunch and the food was simply delicious. The vibes and the ambiance was second to none. I highly recommend for a special occasion or a nice dinner.
High expectations and prices with subpar food and service
This place has a great ambiance but that’s where it stops. Service is slow. Wait staff is friendly but have way too many tables. We sat for a long time with empty drinks. The prices are in line with Next, Sepia or Maple & Ash but the food and s
Our go to resturant for perfect food and a wonderful dinner
This is our favorite resturant in all of Chicago. The food is always perfect. The service is above perfect and the wine program is great.
Great pastas, bad dessert
The place is beautiful, pastas are delicious and service was very good. Sadly, dessert was a huge disappointment. We asked for the almond ricotta cake (an Italian classic) and the only good thing on it was the cherry jam. Ice cream on top was melte

Bad on us: the Four Seasons Hotel concierge sent us over and it wasn’t our desired dining experience of delicious food and gracious dining in a charming atmosphere. It was instead wall to wall people and the outrageous noise levels unbearable. If

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Adalina Chicago at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Adalina Chicago page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FamousFish68, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FamousFish68 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FamousFish68 for any questions Peter may have as FamousFish68 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousFish68 now uses their connections at Adalina Chicago to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousFish68 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection

* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Adalina Chicago!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
