Disappointed
Ordered a $8 dollar plate and waited for one hour to arrive. Should avoid lunch crowd if you do not want to wait so long especially when hungry. They do not have Sambal chili and lime is only a super small slice which really minus points for these aspects. The $8 plate looks like a small plate whereby the prawns are not a lot, not much meat or I canโt even remember if thereโs meat. Sotong was little also. The noodles was of small portion also which we thought $8 dollar should have more. Their version is more of super healthy style, which we do not really fancy. Was looking forward to try this stall due to the good review but seems disappointed. Will give it a miss next time.

This is still one of the best Hokkien mee in the area, and waiting time can be up to 45 minutes. The broth is rich in prawn stock and unami, and the dish is well balanced tastewise. Only odd thing to me is they do not have sambal but provide cut red chillis instead.

Thoroughly enjoyed this dish, anywhere in the western world this could cost 400% more than what they charge. Quality is top notch, hot off the wok.
You order at the counter, they ask you for your table number then when its cooked they'll deliver it to you at this hawker centre.
Delicious noodles with fresh ingredients.
Wet Hokkien Mee
5 mins walk from Dakota mrt.
Not really fantastic. But long queue start before lunchtime.
$3 $5 per dish.
Come before 2pm.
Awesome !
I have visited old airport road hawker many times but never managed to try this. There is forever a long queue and one time they told me that I have to wait at least one hour. Was there early 11 am on a weekday, there was still a short queue. $5 small and $8 medium. The hokkien mรฉe was excellent. Itโs the wet type. Prawns and sotong was generous and fresh. Worth the wait!
