Overall experience at Al Fareej was unique and exceptional!
Al Fareej is a highly-rated Iranian joint in Dubai. It has 4.2 stars from 1,973 reviews on Google, the majority of which praise its good food, ambiance, and overall dining experience. The restaurant is a 6-minute walk away from the Al Nahda Metro station, but the walk wasn’t very pleasant. The area is dead, with little to no people passing through. It didn’t feel like the safest place to be, especially at night. When I arrived, I wasn’t immediately welcomed. But when the manager saw I was there, he approached to greet me. I noticed the staff all spoke Farsi. The service was top-notch, and they took care of me throughout my stay. I ordered one koobideh dish and a bottle of doogh, which cost me a total of AED 36, plus some free starters. Without the doogh, a single koobideh dish is priced at AED 35 (£7.92 British Pounds) – a rather cheap price for koobideh. When my order arrived, I was shocked by how massive the plate was. On it was a huge serving of rice, a tomato, and two long pieces of koobideh. After finishing a piece, I found that I still had a lot of rice and starters left. I did end up having some leftover rice. The food quality was exceptional. The koobideh was flavorful and the rice was buttery and soft. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is one of the best koobideh I’ve had in my travels. My overall experience at Al Fareej was unique and exceptional. While the food was the main event, the whole experience, from the service to the staff, put the cherry on top. Be the first to ReplyBest Kebabs in Town
Al Fareej Restaurants serve the best fresh hot, juicy and perfectly cooked Iranian kebabs with a good vibe. I ordered "Mince and Chicken Kebabs with Rice". 🍢The kebabs were served on skewers. The taste was very authentic. They also serve them with humus and roti.
.
🍧The dessert was "Falooda Bastani Shirazi" which had mango and vanilla flavors. I loved the one with Vanilla ice-cream.
.
🍢They have superb outdoor seating with traditional iranian chairs and tables where you can enjoy with your family. The prices are also quite reasonable and the service is too good.
Delicious dish
My husband and I were at the Al fareej restaurant yesterday evening for dinner. Nice welcoming. Very delicious food. We have take the platter for two. It's so yummy my god. I really recommend this place good price and food is so so yummy.
Be the first to Replyfriendly place for kebab eaters
if you are looking for a fancy classy restaurant then this is not the place for you.
if you are hungry of kebab and grill with affordable price then you are in right place. come with your friend/family and order variety of kebabs "mutton or chicken", "marinated in lemon or yogurt".)
located next to a park and most of people prefer to sit on floor covered wit carpet and enjoy their time.
it is very crowded during the weekend and all the seats and even the floors are occupied.
Not to Visit Again
We went there on weekend and tried some few types of chicken and mutton Kabab but for us it was below expectation and taste was below also normal.

It is fast , very very good , very tasty , it change from everything you know !!!!
It is typical , don’t look for fork or knife in metal !!!!
May be with the time , but aside of this you will eat typically !!!
The location is non common , you need to read or know someone regarding this restaurant , but it’s a must try !!!
No inside table , only outside or on the ground table !!!
For sure it is better to try all over the year except in July and August during summer time !!!!
But you can order to take way !!!!!

Be the first to ReplyBest Iranian kebabs ❤️
This is an absolutely amazing place with good quality grilled good. It is located at almost a hidden place but it is very peaceful near a park. It is a homely place with few seating arrangements and even mat on the footpath near the park. The service is good and fast and good is just delicious value for money. The Iranian kebabs are served on skewers with hummus and garlic sauce and roti. The mix grill included lamb and chicken. Quantity is also quite a lot. They also serve black tea.
It is a family place with very good food.
The BEST kabab in Dubai
I would give this restaurant a full FIVE if it were an actual restaurant. It’s not. Well, it’s not a sit down type of restaurant. Unless of course, sitting down on a straw, picnic mat (which the restaurant provides you with) in the park opposite is considered sitting down – how cool is that though? How many restaurants actually have the audacity to do something like that? You want to sit? Here’s a mat, go sit in the park. There is also a shaded area with a couple of ceiling-corner fans right in-front of the restaurant – prime space, I imagine, at peak hours.
Al Fareej is a South Iranian restaurant. It is NOT Arabic or Arabian as some reviewers have incorrectly stated. And it serves some of THE BEST TIKKA KABABS ON THE PLANET! Tikka, which means 'small piece' in Persian, is a reference to the small pieces of either chicken or lamb used to make these kababs, and should not be confused with the Indian Tikka (which incidentally, should mean the same thing). The hero Kabab here is what they call Lamb Lemon Tikka – even a full-on Meg Ryan ‘oh God, oh GOD, OH GOD from When Harry met Sally will not come close to the noises you will make when you try this – I dare you! It’s that good. I did a Meg and then went all passive, mewing with each piece I put in my mouth. You don’t need to chew, just roll the kabab around in your mouth with your tongue – it’ll just melt. This is not a sour kabab as the lemon in the name suggests. Limoo Amani, or dried lime is powdered and added to the marinate of this delicious kabab giving it that distinctly tart and tangy taste – oh God, oh GOD, OH GOD!
The Boneless Chicken Tikka, which in essence is Joojeh Kabab, is the best I have had in Dubai. If it were simply succulent it would be juicy – this literally gushes! And it has a little tingle too, suggesting there’s more to the marinate than just Saffron – a little chili willy maybe? Whatever it is, it’s Marilyn Monroe gorgeous.
The Masti is really, really good but Ostadi is still better – much. Hats off to their Mince Kabab, Koobideh to you and me, it’s also really, really good but not as good as Feri Kasif – close. Different too because it also has a little tingle. I like the individual touch these boys have added to their kababs – uniqueness, individualism.
First timers – GO! It’s well, well worth it. There are not a lot of places in the world which serve such amazing kababs. Zomato maps works perfectly – trust it…and GO! Please DO NOT order the wraps. Stick to the classics or whatever will give you a selection to sample like the Al Fareej Mix, the Mix Tikka, Tikka with Kabab or the Lamb Lemon Tikka on its own – start with any one of these and just follow your yellow brick pallet which, I guarantee, will take you straight to the Wizard of Yum! Bah Bah!
