DEFINITELY THE PLACE FOR EXCELLENT DINNER
Yesterday, we went to Tivoli Village to attend the Night Market, a fun artisan market to search for unique Christmas items. After walking around and shopping, we felt hungry enough to eat dinner. We selected Al Solito Posto and, at 5:30 p.m., they were booked for the entire evening. The kind hostess offered to show us the hightop tables in the bar where we could sit. There was one table available so we took it. You could also eat at the bar if you preferred. There were some tables and booths in the main dining room but they were filled in short order. We never been here before since they have been open for 3 years and we have not been to Tivoli at night in sometime longer than that. We were served water and a drink orders were taken immediately and we were provided with menus. Our server was Shante C. who was very pleasant and had a great smile. She brought our cocktails and gave us time to look over the unfamiliar menu. We learned as the evening went on that Shante was an awesome server, always prompt to notice if we needed anything. Busy as she was, she always provided a moment to share conversation with us. Service throughout the meal was timely without our feeling rushed at all. She was fabulous and we would definitely ask for her next time we go back. We had eaten a bite at home shortly before we left for Tivoli so we weren't starving. We decided, with our cocktails, to share just a salad and a pizza. The brought some wonderful foccia with the salad and a small bowl of garlic and olive oil for the bread. Initially, I was afraid that the salad and pizza would not be enough food but the salad, an Italian Chopped Salad, was not only larger than I expected but was full of several kinds of meats, cheeses, olives and red peppers. It was more than the two of us could eat. We ordered the spinach and artichoke pizza. I was again surprised at the size of the pizza. I expected quite a small personal size but it was actually the size of a large pizza from our local 'go-to' pizza joint. The preparation was also quite interesting. It was a thin crust which we love. It appeared that, rather than red pizza sauce, the spinach was pureed and used as the sauce, topped with artichokes and the center of the pizza had a pile of sweet red peppers. It was awesome and we could only eat half. Looking forward to lunch today. I also got a chance to see other diner's orders going past and all of the servings appeared to be larger than I would have expected. The duck ravioli looked spectacular. The atmosphere was decently elegant without being stuffy. People were dressed from coat and tie to shorts or sweats. Can hardly wait to go back.

Even though we stayed near the strip, we like to venture out to where the locals eat. Al Solito is located in the beautiful Tivoli Village. The restaurant is spacious and has a few different seating areas, including a lovely outdoor section right in front. Ambiance is chic and did get a bit loud at times. Place was busy for a Wednesday. Service was very good. Appetizers Squash blossoms-perfect Salmon belly crudo Entrees Radiatore pasta Branzino Piccata Eggplant Parmesan Needless to say we loved Al Solito Posto and only wish there was one in our home state. A true gem.
Be the first to ReplyEven Better than before
Established in Summerlin as the pandemic wained, and already "the Usual Placeโ for residents of Las Vegasโ affluent suburb, dinner on Wednesday again found Al Solito Posto firing on all cylinders for a taste of Chef James Trees and teamโs East Coast Italian Food. A replacement for Brio Italian Grill at Tivoli Village, approximately 180 indoor seats plus several on the patio, it was after greetings at the hostessโ stand that four guests were led to a table, service attentive and friendly without the theatrics of Carbone. Boisterous but not exactly loud in the lounge it was after deciding on Beverages that fourteen items were selected, complimentary housemade Focaccia plus Garlic Herb Olive Oil mixed tableside soon to arrive and consumed nearly as quickly. Happy to see Chef Adam Rios at the pass Appetizers consist of Soups, Salads and Antipasti, the Meatballs tight but not overworked adjacent a triangle of Cornmeal while the Pizza and Panzanella Salad each put Cheese to good use with the latter particularly outstandimg. Utilizing fresh Ingredients across the board, prices ranging $16-$38 for Starters and $21-$59 for Entrees a veritable bargain despite outpacing most of Las Vegas Boulevard, course two featured three Pastas plus the return of slowly-simmered Gravy loaded with Meatballs, Spare Ribs and housemade Fennel Sausage. Able to handle big volume thanks to skilled cooks plus a sizable kitchen Pastas are made on-site daily, and although Asparagus Pesto on Radiatore was good Al Solito Postoโs filled options including Duck Ravioli and brilliant Sweet Corn Agnolotti with Rock Shrimp make for tough competition. A complete overhaul of the old menu according to James Trees, though Las Vegasโ best Lasagna remains unchanged, additional entrees see Eggplant Parm shine thanks to less fuss while enormous African Prawns served Scampi-style and a Tomahawk Pork Chop are faultless. Sad to see the Rainbow Cake scrapped, though an Italian riff on Tres Leches now stands as one of Sin Cityโs most inspired Desserts, Tiramisu arrives in the form of Cheesecake while the Pie-sized Apple Crostata remains a texturally masterful showstopper served piping hot with a side of Vanilla Gelato waiting to be melted on top.
Be the first to ReplyThe UPS & DOWNS of Al Solito Posto
The upโs & DOWNS of a restaurant In Las Vegas. We truly loved ASP starting at the middle of & continuing to the end of 2022. We were traveling for the last several months & yesterday, Saturday March 4th we went for the first time this year. Sadly most of the managers from last year are all gone, most of the really good servers are all gone & most disappointing is that the Chef went on vacation & never came back. The current food is average at best, and the current staff can only make so many excuses for what happened with the management & staff. Lastly, the crowd that used to give ASP its energy seems to also be gone. We didnโt recognize any of the business crowd that used to go to this restaurant, but painfully the crowd has been replaced with a downmarket Olive Garden crowd.
Be the first to ReplyNice bar on the sea
Went for coffee and drinks and we were very well received. Nice ambiance, good service and views, on the sea.
Be the first to ReplyBest Italian food with great service
Beautiful restaurant with fresh, delicious food. Pasta is made fresh daily and it is evident in taste! Service was top-notch. Best Italian food we have had outside of Italy!
Be the first to ReplyGood food - questionable service??
We were seated without a reservation outdoors. Suggestion for the restaurant, on the two tabletops - turn then sideways so person doesnt have to sit with their back to the street. We did this ourselves - much nicer. Server was prompt in coming - but took over 10 minutes to get our first drink, so we ordered another right away. Drink service was very slow. Grilled octopus - a bit chewy - but otherwise nice flavor. Veal parmesan was a very nice portion and good flavor. Lobster ravioli also very good, but would have been nice to have fresh parmesan offered. We ordered the apple dessert - which is big enough for 2 people. Comes with 2 scoops of gelato... almost wish server would have told us this as other party in group ordered the gelato (3 scoops). TOO long of a wait between service. Surprised at this because the server only takes the orders, someone else delivers the drinks and someone else delivers the food -- so why so slow? We were there to relax and enjoy -- but they must need more help. Bar scene was hopping and really a nice atmosphere both in and out. Rated only 4 stars, because 5 stars has to be outstanding.
Be the first to ReplyFor our Anniversary
A spectacular evening to celebrate our anniversary was just fantastic at Al Solito Posto. The service with Ken was literally outstanding and the quality of the meal was truly 5 star. Like many couples we have been to many nice restaurants and in fact numerous Italian restaurants . . . But Al Solito Posto is truly unique and impressive. The unique table bread and personalized at your table dipping oil - great. The Italian Chopped Salad was to have again as a main course - such fresh ingredients and cheese. For the main courses we ordered Eggplant and the Alla Vodka pasta - both again outstanding and unique. We have been in Las Vegas many years, but this is one of the best meals we have had in quality and service. We will request Ken to wait on us next time we are back. I am often not impressed with spending $120 + for a meal of drinks, food and service. But at Al Solito Posto the service with Ken and the chefs in the kitchen were definitely worth this GREAT dining evening out.
Be the first to ReplyBusy but average value
Dishes ordered were beef carpaccio, fish, veal chops, caserecce, cioppino. Overall all the dishes were average, nothing outstanding The pasta with broccolini needs mush more flavor. The bread was great. Veal chop at $53 was poor value.
The place was buy and must be popular. Las Vegas has so many Italian choices that it maybe a while before we go back.
high prices and average food and thus poor value.
A great Italian Restaurant located in Summerlin..
Located in Tivoli Village, Al Solito Posto is a great Italian restaurant that I'll be frequenting again soon...
The ambiance and decor is contemporary, dimly lit and the vibe for a nice sit down dinner night. There's an attractive full service rectangular bar which I've visited previously to get drinks with friends. This visit was for dinner..
Beef Carpaccio - Here's the perfect starter. Fresh meat and veggies to get your appetite started but not too filling for your main dish.
Papardelle Bolognese- Meaty, cheesey and delicious. This bolognese is one of the better ones I've had in a bit.
Chicken Parmesan- Another Italian classic that's done well here at Al Solito Posto.
Italian Rainbow Cake- moist and flavorful. This Italian dessert classic can definitely be shared by two people.
All the dishes we had pretty hearty portions.
The service met expectations for the price point. The noise is on the higher level when they're busy but won't disrupt your dining experience. If you're looking for a classy Italian resto with traditional dishes Al Solito Posto is a place to check out. Enjoy!
Good with issues
We have dined here numerous times since they opened. Sadly they removed the 2 best entrees..pesto gnocchi and pasta and Emilyโs Sunday Gravy. A 30 minute wait after arrival with a reservation, minimal meat on the Italian salad. It is the loudest restaurant anywhere. It is grossly overpriced.
Be the first to ReplyWOW
We visited on Saturday night for dinner having made a reservation. Our table was not ready but we were given a glass of bubbly whilst we waited for about ten minutes.
The service was really good. Our server was helpful and attentive.
The dishes of offer were innovative and well presented and tasted very good. The portions were a good size.
I could not find any fault with this restaurant and will certainly return.
It was also not over the top price wise compared with other restaurants in the area.
Rip off
Restaurant is a rip off. Cocktails are an extremely light pour and they charge top dollar. I didn't order a second which I usually do. I ordered scallops as an add on to my rigatoni vodka. I was never told that the cost of the add on was going to be more than the cost of the entree. When I asked the waiter why I was charged $31 for a pasta add on without being told the cost, the waiter just shrugged and said sorry. I eat in fine restaurants all over town. I felt totally ripped off. The food is good but I will never go back. They are nickel and diming guests - not the sign of a quality establishment. If you go, do not sit with a waiter named David!!

We are loyal since they opened. Twice we ordered Italian chop salad and no salami or other meats on it. Very slow poor service. 30 minutes until the server took our order. We rarely saw our server. No requested cracked pepper after we requested it. We were given someone elseโs check. They used to be filled and now 50% on a Saturday night. The staff and management changed. Looks like they were sold. Food is great.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food!
First time visiting with friends and it definitely won't be the last! Their c.m.p signature cocktail was pretty amazing, followed by Chef Steve's dishes made to perfection. Starting from the antipasti, from the caprese salad,to the fried burrata,to the beef carpaccio, and ending with the flavorful meatballs! My main entree choice was the whole fish, and it did not disappoint! I also tried the mushroom risotto which my friend had and it was delicious! We ended the night with different desserts and the cheesecake was great! Big shout out to Chef Steve Young, Carlo, and the staff for an amazing dinner!!
Be the first to ReplyItalian Food Done Right
We visited them twice in less than a week or os. Both visits were memorable. Service is the best I have experienced in Vegas. The food is simply gourmet.
Any restaurant that serves hot, fresh out of the oven focaccia bread gets an automatic 4 star in my book!
Ben, Carlo, Jason you guys made us feel at home. Thank you.
Disappointing Experience
I am really upset to have to write this review but after last night's dining experience I feel I have to! We went to celebrate my birthday and the food was good, not as great as when they first opened but still good. The size of the cocktail glasses is very small so be aware they are not worth the price! But here was the reason they will never receive my business again! This was the third time we had celebrated a birthday there and one of our guests brought me a cake! They charged us a $40 plate fee to cut and serve the cake!!!!!! They had not done this before and quite frankly it cheapens the place! It now seems that money is more important than customer service!
We and all our guests will not be returning!
