Excellent Food & Service. We had pasta with wild mushrooms, wonderful sauce, tartare was one of the best we have eater. Gnocci was light and fluffy. Overall excellent experience.

We had good food-pasta, veal and homemade bread. Our service was very good, our waiter very attentive, so a very nice evening.

Wonderful restaurant, delicious food, welcoming staff and loved the ambience and saxophone player. We had a dessert wine, Vin Santo with biscotti- delicious and a great experience.

Tuscan home cooking at its best. Like having a grandmother cooking. The pasta dishes are cooked to perfection and the meats are amazing. Not to be missed while in Via Veneto. Amazing service.

Awful service and terrible food. We were ignored for first 20 mins. Then had worst eggplant parm, awful below grocery store quality t bone. Bad caprese with tasteless tomatoes and bad cheese. How can this even be considered Italian food? By far the worst experience in Italy over multiple trips. I rarely write bad reviews but this was a complete tourist trap, and just careless on sourcing and preparing food.

Arrived early as we had planned To have a Bellini at the famous Harryโs Bar right down the street but they closed at 6 as we arrived. Able to have a drink outside on patio. Great antipasto starter. Lasagna was heavenly with thin, delicate pasta layers. Eggplant parm also wonderful. Stayed outside for dinner so we didnโt see the inside which is supposed to be very nice.

The service was poor, the food was tasteless, and it was very expensive. It is a tourist trap. I would never go back or recommend it!
Be the first to ReplyLovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and excellent food
Excellent food and service with a warm welcome. I had the pork shank with Barolo sauce and my wife tried the rabbit. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and the depth of flavour was something to behold. The wine selected by the waiter for us was excellent as well. Highly recommended.

Concierge recommended. Very average food . Good service . Tourist trap feel to the establishment. Not worth the experience.Far better in Rome .
Be the first to ReplyLovely place. Nice food. Wonderful service in Rome
Lovely place. Fresh food , good quality. Great service (rare to find in Rome). Open on Christmas Day (again rare to find in Rome). Nice decor. Just a warm lovely restaurant close to Via Veneto hotels.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing!!!
Wow, we loved this so much we ate their twice, which in a city with as many restaurants as Rome, is saying something. An old-school steak-house with great servcie and amazing value. Our conciege sent us here and i was suspicious, but we were exhausted so we gave it a try. It's the real deal. Chops, steaks, pasta, sides and service were all great, and at about a third of what the same experiece would have cost in the U.S.

My wife and I were staying at the Grand Flora hotel around the block and this fine establishment was recommended to us by the Concierge. I'm usually dubious about restaurants concierges recommend but this one hit all the marks. When I first approached it I thought to myself, another outrageously priced Rome restaurant, but I was wrong. Everything on the menu was so enticing but we had to select a few appetizers and entree's and everything we picked was out of this world. To add to my delight the prices were extremely reasonable. We ate until we couldn't move and the check came out to less than $60.00. When in Rome, look no further than Girarrosto Toscano.

Amazing authentic Italian food with stellar waiters. A MUST go to in Rome. Small and intimate. Ask for Sami the waiter as he will treat you like family. They all do. We ate here the first night and actually came back to eat here the next night because it was amazing. Lobster pasta amazing and the Panacotta was the best Iโve ever had. Iโve traveled the world and never had better. Iโm from Los Angeles and have been living in NY for 10 years and Iโm a foodie and very picky. Everything was delicious. Love the staff. Didnโt have to wait long to be seated and waited on.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Italian restaurant!!
We came here 3x on our 5 day stay in Roma! 2 for dinner and 1 just for dessert! Food was the best lasagna and Italian I have ever had. Service and atmosphere are amazing. Indoors is quaint and roomy and classic old Italian. Like many Italian family owned restaurants if you come several times they really show their appreciation. The desserts are excellent too! Waiter and staff so friendly and professional. We will come back and highly recommend!!

Our family LOVED this place.
Our concierge recommended this restaurant when we arrived around lunchtime. We walked over and were instantly struck by how many Italian speaking customers there were. As tourists, we often seemed to be directed to tourist traps that proved disappointing.
Our meals were so terrific that we returned two more times on different occasions for dinner. Especially noteworthy were the lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, Bolognese, veal scallopini, caprese salad, bruschetta and pasta fagoli soup. But honestly everything we ordered there on the three occasions we went was terrific.
In addition to the wonderful food, the wait staff was super friendly and were great helping us order, which was especially complicated due to our childrenโs food allergies. They graciously made accommodations due to the allergies and even brought out items from the kitchen so that we could personally read the ingredients.
We chose to sit outside due to covid concerns but for those who want to dine inside, the interior of the restaurant is beautiful.
Itโs off the beaten path and there appears to be construction on the street, but donโt let that turn you off to this wonderful authentic restaurant!!
Wonderful Restaurant! Go there!
We had dinner there tonight & canโt say enough good things about it. We were looking for an authentic Italian experience & felt like we got it! Staff was attentive, and to our relief spoke English. Food was well prepared and delicious. Reasonably priced too. Go there!
Be the first to ReplyRipped off
We were quite simply ripped off. Very sad.
1) ordered the anti pasta sampler and was delivered three and not the one we asked for. Quality was good but at 24 euro each and the size was crazy.
When asking for a house wine was given a very pricy bottle.
Finally the mains were simply bad.
The liver was grilled to shoe sole hard.
The meal was memorable as the most expense and at the same time the worst meal of the week in Rome.
Very sad.
The place was empty due to being off season and COVID so maybe they need to the money.
Still very sad.
Do not go
I usually never right reviews but this was the most unsanitary restaurant I have ever been to.
Not worth going.
Overpriced
Food was overpriced. Bread basket was โฌ9. We had an antipasto, a lasagne, one truffle pasta and a seafood risotto, with a small bottle of wine that makes for 2 glasses and it cost โฌ165.
