Perfetto!
We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and my husband had to leave one day earlier. So I decided to book a table all alone in the restaurant. The food was very tasty and the service was just perfect: warm helpfull and good tips for the wine. I felt welcome as if I were a returning customer. I‘ ll surely book the same hotel next time and will book the restaurant together with my husband.

What an amazing place the food very delicious and the wine the same. The waiters are very very profesional. I loved the optipus and ravioli. My husband loved the lamb and the pork belly. I spent a beautiful birthday dinner 💜💜💜
Be the first to ReplyGreat example of alta cucina Italiana (don't go for pizza and pasta!!!!)
Great service and super great food! As it should for the price you pay, but it's remarkably good never the less. Belive me: other places of the supposedly same category don't match this one. You can select between an 8 courses menu, a 6 one, or 'a la carte', and any option is good. The marinated swordfish is spectacular. The duck filed ravioli or the zafron risotto (with pigeon ) are very good options. We didn't try any deserts after that but had a great glass of Moscato Bianco and a doppio expresso.

Amazing group meal for 28 people in private dining space upstairs. The food was fabulous and so was the service. The paired wines worked really well. We chose from set menus which were adapted for food allergies without a problem.

This was a disappointing experience in light of most of the reviews. We had the 6 course tasting menu and it was all just ok. To the point where after 5 courses we couldn’t even remember what all 5 dishes were. The dishes looked nice on the plate but tasted bland. I would even say some of the fish was slightly overcooked. Also not sure that fried fish in batter (sardines) is an ideal choice for a tasting menu. Too close to fish and chips unless you make it very special which this was not. On the positive side the service is impeccable. The ambiance and decor a bit stern and stuffy but good for a romantic/hidden experience I guess.

Wow. What a wonderful meal. We didnt feel up for a tasting menu for the table, but we could see it and see the a la carte. We ordered most of the tasting menu between two of us. We got amuse bouche apps and dessert. Everything was perfect, and the service was superb. The tasting of the sea antipasti could have been my whole meal.

A refined evening with a delicious seasonal tasting menu and efficient, attentive service. One of the best meals we’ve had in Venice.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Michelin star food - the service needs improving though
We took the 8 course tasting menu with matched wines for this expensive special occasion meal. £120 + £55 per head. Every single bite of every course (including the bread basket, and additional 3 complementary tastes from the chef!) were absolutely delicious. If Michelin stars were awarded on food alone, this chef would have 3! But…we found the room gloomy and stuffy, it needed light & air! The service was excruciatingly slow. Why remove and then bring only one dish at a time at a funereal pace? One course had the matched wine forgotten entirely and for another there was no cutlery. The waiting staff were pleasant but not very well trained unfortunately. Having to pay for water is unusual in the top restaurants especially on this price point. The matched wine option isn’t value because of the very small measures given. Sadly because of the slow service there was long periods where we had no food, water OR wine to sip at between courses. If the service and setting were the same standard as the food this restaurant would be incredible.

Had an excellent meal and could not fault the food however surroundings were very plain and the service was slower than we would have expected.

This is a very very good restaurant. It offers 6 (100 euro) or 8 (120 euro) course tasting menus with accompanying wine selections if wanted. The 6 course menu is mainly fish. The 8 course menu is the same with 2 additional meat courses. My wife is a pescatarian and a substitute (and excellent) dish was provided whilst I had the 2 meat courses. We had a window table immediately next to a canal where dozens of gondolas went by until late in the evening. The service was faultless. There was not one bad/disappointing course. Our feeling was that this was good value when compared to similar UK fine dining restaurants.
