NOT AS GOOD AS BEFORE
I've made a very good review about Alloro before. Last night, my experience was not that good. I think they changed the chef, but surely changed the menu and the prices. and what they are delivering now is far from the prices should pay. both dishes we ordered were good, but very tiny. the desserts were terrible but expensive .
Great hotel restaurant
This is an excellent restaurant. The burrata starter and steaks are very good. The wine list is extensive too and the waiters are all very professional. It’s not the cheapest but well worth the money. Bravo.
Excellent Italian
Had quite a few meals here as stayed at the hotel. The pastas were delicious as was steaks. My husband loved the lasagne starter. Great service.
Great Value, Great Food!
An excellent culinary experience here, the food is beautifully presented and ingredients are fresh, the wine list is also very good. The service was of a very high quality, with a special mention to Walcier who was extremely pleasant, a skilled conversationalist and highly attentive throughout.
Quick fillup
First night in Rio staying at the Hotel Windsor Mirimar on Cocacabana beach decide to eat at the Italian in-house restaurant. Basicc standard fare started with the tuna cerviche followed by by a spaghetti with tomatoe sauce which ticked the box, just add would only return if tired from travelling and wanted something quick and easy Fernando Nieto traveling in Rio on the Cocacavaba beach visiting from London
A DISAPPOINTING SPAGHETTI
We were staying at the Miramar Hotel and had heard that the Alloro was a good Italian restaurant. We went at 7pm for dinner and it was quiet at that time. We ordered only a Spaghetti Carbonara for each of us - our favourite. They brought us a complimentary bread basket whilst we were waiting. It would have been nice if they’d warmed the bread but it was cold and nothing special. The pasta was very salty. Carbonara is usually salty anyway due to the salty meat and Parmesan, but this was really salty. We did not complain to the restaurant as we weren’t madly hungry and didn’t want to make a fuss. The service was friendly and good. Maybe we just chose the ‘wrong thing’ or maybe the chef will be informed of this review and not use additional salt in future.
Best restaurant in the area we found
I normally avoid hotel restaurants like the plague - I’m so glad I broke the rule. Service outstanding. Food - outstanding. Best carbonara I’ve ever had - and with Italians and Chefs in our family that’s no mean claim. If I had to find fault- and trust me I always can, it’s that the fillet steak was overcooked but this did not detract from a great evening. Even the deserts were great!

I was in town for business and this restaurant was recommended to us. The service was very attentive. We had multiple people fill our waters and ask we needed anything. The menu had a variety of items, we ordered a few appetizers. All were amazing! And the food was even better. The restaurant was clean. If back in town again, I would go.
Nothing special
Had different plates of pasta. Carbonara was a little salty, the other plates were ok but not great. Dessert also nothing special.

Excellent experience at this place. Excellent food, great service from our waiter Matheus and the nicest view of the Avenida Atlântica and Copacabana beach. Greatly recommended.

Great italian fine dining
We were hesitant to eat in the hotel restaurant (we were staying here), but I'm so glad we did. The food was fantastic and the service was "old school" perfection. I highly recommend.
Food was good.
But service was slow. Main course was served warm. I believe they just forgot about our table of four. As the restaurant was getting busy. Lovely restaurant and would like to give it another chance.

* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* BraveCloth47, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* BraveCloth47 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to BraveCloth47 for any questions Peter may have as BraveCloth47 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* BraveCloth47 now uses their connections at Alloro al Miramar Ipanema to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If BraveCloth47 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, BraveCloth47 receives the $200 reward which is credited to BraveCloth47's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Alloro al Miramar Ipanema!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
