we ordered fish from the counter, the fillet came out very thin and 2lb fish turned out not enough for a party of 4 to share. otherwise food taste good, nice ambience and service. oh..corkage fee is $50 a bottle, guess that's what you pay being in vegas.
Be the first to ReplyReally great spot.
Excellent salad, pasta, mains, and dessert. Chopped salad, pastas rags, chicken parm, and caramel tiramisu all stand outs. Relaxing ambiance, beautiful restaurant. Really great service too. Enjoy!

.please do. The Main Host was literally the most professional person I've ever met. From the steak , pasta , cake and wine everything was amazing.. Couldn't actually tell how long we had been there but I think that's a Vegas thing. Experience could of only been tipped if Bobby Flay or Adele walked in.. a must go... I didn't check prices I'm sure it's a pretty penny but when I'm Vegas .. My Fremont Vegas White Castle review next
Be the first to ReplyNot what I was hoping for.
I'm now 0 for 3 on restaurants by celebrity chefs. Food was basically flavorless. I got orecchiette with tomato sauce and pesto. Pasta was over, sauce was flavorless and the pesto was as basic as what you would make at home on your first try. Prawns came with a chili oil but so little it contributed no flavor to the dish. The focaccia was the best thing we ordered. Maybe some chefs like to emphasize "simple ingredients" "basic" approach. If so, this restaurant certainly delivers that. For this price and chef reputation however, I wanted to see creativity and a high-level skill set on display. If you want to be dazzled, best to find another establishment.

Everything about this restaurant was amazing, I will come back again. It was a pleasant and soothing atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food and impeccable service.
The filet mignon was perfect. Chicken parm was awesome too. Crunchy potatoes are a dream and I would love to replicate at home! So good. Blue crab and eggplant meatballs a yummy appetizer as well. The finale of tiramisu for dessert was simply the best we've ever had. We loved our meal as well as the ambiance. Pricey but worth it. Recommended.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is well seasoned and flavorful.
The server attentive and vigilant. The crispy potatoes were well seasoned and crispy yet tender also the serving size was perfect without being overfilling .

This place was so good! We have been to Vegas twice in the last 6 mos and this has been my favorite restaurant by far. My husband was super excited to pick his own fish and it was so delicious! He also had some amazing oysters. The bread was so delish! I would highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent! Food was very tasty.
..ordered pretty much 1 of each dish and none of it disappointed other than the portions. We had a party of six so we did Family style. Unfortunately because of the small portion size...we didn't get much of each dish but it was sooo tasty! We also ordered dessert and once again no disappointment there! Ambiance was Beautiful and our server was very intuitive and made some recommendations! Unfortunately I didn't take pictures because we were so hungry...we didn't allow the cameras to eat before we did as we usually do! Perfect place for date night! Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyAmmmmazing food, such a great experience.
The server was very knowledgeable about the menu too and had some great recommendations. Food and coffee tasted exacrly like it did when I was in Italy.

Didn't realize Amalfi replaced Mesa Grill, but really enjoyed our dinner. Highlight of our meal was definitely their fish. Our snapper and bass were absolutely delicious, especially dipped in their red pepper and chile pesto sauce. Their lemon and capers sauce was my husband's favorite. Recommend ordering the whole fish, instead of filleted. More fish that way. Also loved their burrata appetizer, and my kids devoured their pasta "rags."
Be the first to ReplyReally quality food, drinks and service.
Logically pricy for a nicer strip Italian restaurant. I enjoyed the pasta and my companion loved the fish. Love that they have usb-charging ports at the bar. Would return next time in Vegas- but it I'm being honest would also check out RPG italian again too.
Be the first to ReplyAmalfi is really good.
The flavors are amazing and all the food is very light. Nothing weighs you down. However, if you're really hungry you may want to order a few dishes and share. We had the tuna tartare with crispy rice which was amazing, definitely try that! We also had the pasta rags and the linguine with clams. Both were delicious and simple. Service was friendly and quick and the ambiance is romantic and relaxing. I'd definitely eat here again and think this is probably the best restaurant in Caesars Palace.

Yelp Review 2023 #127:We had a reservation on a weekend for dinner. We arrived but we couldn't get seated until everyone in our party was there. Ok fine! The hostess took us to our table when everyone was present. We passed the brightly-lit bar (where diners can also eat at), and their fresh fish display. Our table was in front of the fish display. It did smell a bit fishy. We chose this restaurant because they have seafood and vegetarian options. The menu is only 1 page. You can also buy fish from the display which starts at $42/lb and you can have it cooked for your meal however you want. They have snapper, turbot, bass, dorade, John Dory, grouper, and branzino. We couldn't zero in on what fish our table wants. So, we ended up getting appetizers and our own entrees. Be careful when ordering what seems to be vegetarian - some non-meat options are cooked in chicken broth. We all ended up getting pasta (agnolotti, bucatini, orecchiette)Burrata:Broccoli rabe pesto, roasted peppers, crushed pistachios. 4/5Charred Octopus:Burnt orange, pancetta. The octopus was perfectly cooked and tender. The flavors were just ok. 3/5Butternut Squash Arancini:Fig mostarda, toasted walnuts, brown butter. This was a little too sweet. 3/5Squid Ink Fettuccine:Lobster, shrimp, squid, fra diavolo. The pasta was perfectly cooked. Small portion but lots of seafood. 4/5Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Cake:Dense chocolate cake with nocciola (hazelnut) gelato. The cake was edible but nothing exciting. The best part was the gelato. 3/5Bobby's Pistachio Sundae:Pistachio gelato, dark chocolate sauce, Amarena cherries vanilla crema, pistachio crunch. Fantastic pistachio gelato. The tartness from the cherries cuts through the creaminess of the gelato, and the pistachio crunch adds a layer of texture. 5/5Chestnut Ginger Cake:Burnt orange ricotta cream, ginger-pear caramel. This was my friend's pick for dessert. I wouldn't choose this on my own because none of these flavors are in my profile. Orange? No! Ginger? No. Put them together and add a few other flavors? Definitely no. 1/5

We started with the chopped salad and Cesar salad, they were over the top delicious. Obviously the lettuce was farm fresh and of course the ingredients for the dressings were top notch. How could you go wrong? I thought if the salads are this good, we are in for a treat when the meal comes! The octopus appetizer arrived and it too was delicious. How they got it to be so tender and flavorful? The waiter informed it was marinated for a specific amount of time. The Rags pasta was so good. You could taste the tomato sauce, very fresh. It had bufalo mozzarella, very nice. Now for the main course. Branzino with a meyer lemon and caper sauce made it's way to our table. We ordered enough for two, but we had enough for the three of us. It was cooked to perfection. Truly The Best Fish I have ever eaten. We ordered it as a whole fish rather than filleted, and I am so happy we did. There are no words for how perfect this fish was prepared and served. LOVED it! The service was fantastic and the entire meal was exquisite. Our dessert was THE BEST tiramisu we had ever eaten. I'm not exaggerating, really! We will definitely return to Amalfi upon our next trip to Las Vegas! Well done Amalfi staff!

I never do this but feel compelled based upon how bad our experience was. It is an expensive restaurant which is to be expected in Vegas and from a celebrity chef. We have been to many of Bobby Flay's restaurants and always had great experiences. The appetizers were just ok, arancini was over cooked and dry. Octopus was mushy. Extra charge for bread? Really? In an Italian restaurant? The pasta dishes were simply terrible. Pasta was over cooked and the sauces were watery. We didn't even want the fish after how bad the first 2 courses were. However, $70 for red snapper? No thanks. My wife and I were up all night sick. I vomited the next morning. Really disappointed. The service was fine. The ambiance is nothing special. The dress code is supposed to be business casual, collared shirts, pants and no flip flops. We dressed according to the code. Other patrons, not so much. Sweat suits, baseball caps and flip flops were the norm. I would never go back.

I am a Bobby Flay fan, loved Mesa and many of his cook books. His recipes are typically an explosion of flavor. Unfortunately, Amalfi misses the mark entirely. Not sure why Bobby went the Italian route, he should have stayed in his lane. We had the crab and eggplant meatballs and chicken parm. Both dishes were surprisingly very bland. The meatballs and chicken were cooked perfectly but lacked any depth of flavor. The sauce on the chicken was a quick marinara and tasted more like sweet tomatoes than a slow cooked "gravy". Cheese was just ok. For the insane price tag, $42 for chicken parm, this is not worth the price. We were really looking forward to Bobby's first attempt at Italian. Big disappointment. Maybe the fish is better, but not too appealing when one is in the desert versus on the shores of Positano. We went to Giada's for dessert and had an amazing salted caramel soufflé. Full disclosure, I am Italian from the Boston and Providence RI area, maybe my bar is too high.

Skip - lol go to Estiatorio Milos if you want a Mediterranean (?) experience - though it's marketed as Italian from the Amalfi coast. This used to be Bobby Flay's famed Mesa Grill - not sure why he flipped the place unless it wasn't doing well after 16-years. The remodel is definitely beautiful; however very loud and slow service. We had many drink orders (refills/new choices) and our pours were significantly different each time (across two servers). Fish station is less grandiose than Milos and they don't walk you over/say you can go look at it yourself. Highlights are the prawns, but also they weren't butterflied lol, the espresso martini, and the two desserts with the best being the lemon tart (a must). Pasta was too al dente and wasn't anything to write home about.

The bread was an extra charge, which should have been included given the prices. Laura was an awesome server. The tiramisu was so good.

Thanks for ruining my birthday I really appreciate it! I will never forget it! I ran as fast I could my driver cancelled and I ran I was literally out of breath! Then I couldn't even find the restaurant! Only to be rudely told I couldn't be accommodated I even called earlier to let you all know I was running late and explain the situation and you all couldn't do anything! Thank you so much just so you know good service offers alternatives like bar seating or at least take in to consideration it's a birthday. I found a restaurant nearby that offered me a seat at a bar! That could've been the least you all could've offered considering I had a reservation!

Second time here and it remains consistent and delicious! Bread is off menu but it's a must order! Their espresso martini is on the sweet side for me, I prefer it more bitter.I've had a lot of octopus and this is by far the best place I've eaten it. You can pick your fish out personally before it's prepared
Be the first to ReplyI toured the celebrity restaurants just for fun.
I was rooting for Giada, but Bobby wins.I got the pasta rags, which had just the right balance of heat from the Calabrian chilis. The service was great, and the waitress knew the menu and some interesting info about Bobby. This one was tops.

Going through my drafts and bummer, this review did not post. We were happy to dine here, and the service was awesome. Thanks, Arnel, for stopping by our table to say HI. I walked up to the bed of ice where the fish was being displayed. I selected the Branzino. It's pretty pricey, so be prepared to pay for it. Overall, it was a great restaurant to dine.
