Incredible Indian
Probably the best tasting Indian food I’ve had since I was in India. Excellent flavors, great customer service, and left me craving more even though I was stuffed.

While staying in Beverly, I wanted to take my friend for Indian food, which she had not experienced before. Saw Anmol and took a chance - the food was excellent! Ordered Samosas, which were fresh, tasty, with a slight trace of heat. The garlic naan was some of the BEST naan I've had. Our meals were freshly made, and very tasty. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and polite. My only complaint was a pair of obnoxious ladies who were drinking it up at the table across from us and sharing FAR too much information about their private lives. Actually, I think it was really just the one lady - the other one kept looking around, silently pleading with her eyes to be put out of her misery. Felt kind of bad for her, but then again - she really should grow a set sometime.

Last Saturday, my boyfriend and I stopped in for karaoke and a couple of drinks. We don't drink alcohol, so we ordered diet sodas. The night was enjoyable. This past Saturday we returned for more karaoke and drinks. This time the bartender (same as last week, as she's apparently the only person staffing the bar area of the restaurant), confronts us and tell us, quite directly, "You stink!" Not a typo, she said "you stink", as in, you give off an offensive odor. She proceeded to explain that people complained last week that we smell. We responded, "What do you mean?" She explained that we stunk last week, and in fact, we stink currently and that she's going to have to ask us to leave. Needless to say, we didn't and don't stink. I can't believe I feel the need to type this....we showered last Saturday and this past Saturday, and we were wearing clean clothes. Clearly no further discussion was needed at this point. We picked up our things and walked out, she smiled. It seems she did not want to serve two people drinking soft drinks (although both nights the place had a handful of people, at most, so spacing was not an issue). She was rude, mean, and had no class. Did you ever wonder what happened to that bully in your Social Studies class from 5th grade? She's working at Anmol in Beverly, MA....will never go back there again, neither will our family and friends who live up the street in Beverly and in Danvers and Salem. Shame on you bully for not developing past the 5th grade! And, shame on you Anmol for not caring enough to teach your servers to respect your paying customers.

My girlfriend and I were extremely insulted by this establishment on Saturday night. We had visited the Saturday before and sang some karaoke songs. We drank soda while we did. We showed up again this last Saturday and the bartender claimed that we smelled so we had to leave. I had taken a shower literally two hours before, my girlfriend earlier in the day. We felt that she didn't want to cater to us because we weren't big spenders. We'll be no spenders now. Extremely insulting and extremely juvenile.

Anmol is my favorite takeout food in Beverly. Some of my go to dishes are chicken tikka masala, lamb saag, and vegetable korma. Get some broccoli pakoras and lamb samosas for an appetizer and you're all set.

Such a wonderful experience, been here a few times before felt the need for Indian food to bring home. Mixed vegetable appetizer platter and biryani shrimp. Both excellent dishes.

Purchased take out today. Have gone there in the past, food is good but prices have gone way up and portions are smaller. PASSAGE TO INDIA IN SALEM is as good , a bit spicier but not pricier. Samosas are $2.50 more and smaller than PASSAGE TO INDIA. Very discouraging. I will not be going back to Anmol.

This has been for 16 years now my absolute favorite Indian Resturant, Hands Down and I have been to many of them and all over the state. The one thing that is killing me now is the prices keep going up... Which means I cannot enjoy it as much as I would like, this has now become a special once in a while thing...but when I have it on my God I'm so happy..! If my review doesn't send you to go...well..... My recommendations , Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindillo, Chicken Curry, Saag Panner, Tandori Chicken, Cheese Naan, Chicken Naan, Plain Naan, Garlic Naan, Parswary Naan, Poori, Cicken Tikka, Vegetable Somoas, Mint Chutney, Pappadam, Onion Chutney, Mango Lassi, Sweet or Salty...And don't forget desserts...! Your food can be cooked from mild, med, or spicy...your server will ask you! *note onion chutney is not for the meek- it is very very spicy! but very very delish!

On the hottest day of the year I didn't want to cook. But luckily for me, the gentlemen chefs at Anmol DID. Our dinner was heavenly. We tried every Naan, with our favorite being the Pashawari Naan which was sweetly covered inside with ground nuts, spices, sugar, fruit. It was WONDERFUL. Have it for your dessert!
Our favorite dinners were spiced perfectly, tender without using a knife to eat, and blended with cream and coriander and perfumed with the essence of Indian delicacies.
Our choices were Rogan Josh (lamb), Chicken Korma with Basmati rice, Aloo Gobhi (cauliflower), and Garlic Naan. Every single item was a joy to eat! Don't miss a lovely take-out for dinner, you will return again and again.
(And as an aside, I chose 'mild' for my dinner preparation choices which were perfectly spiced. If you are brave, try the 'hot'.
Food was good, service was slow
Have been meaning to try this restaurant for a while. Pretty busy on the Sat night we visited, never made a reservation but had room to fit us in. Service was slow. Food was pretty good, hot, spicy and just the right size of portion.
Parking in Beverly on a Saturday night was a nightmare, had to park quite a way from the restaurant.
Very enjoyable food!
Anmol is our new favorite Indian restaurant! We greatly enjoyed the Samosa appetizer, Garlic Naan and the Chicken Tikka Masala during our recent first visit. Everything was delicious. We also received complimentary, tasty sesame cracker bread with various dipping sauces. The waiters are not overly friendly but certainly professional and competent. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

If you like Indian food, you will love Anmol. I drive about an hour to eat here and it's absolutely worth the drive. Strongly recommend the chicken tikka masala, lamb kabobs and aloo gohbi, yummmm! Ask Bobby about his special chicken drumsticks, marinaded so they are super juicy and then he cooks them with a dry rub that is to die for, hopefully these become a menu regular dish!!!

The food is excellent. Be patient because everything is made to order. You choose the level of spice. The restaurant is not fancy but it is comfortable. Staff is efficient. Bring your appetite and try a variety of dishes. They do offer luncheon specials.

I love Anmol Restaurant. I've never had a bad experience. Did take out tonight for a low key Birthday dinner. We got Paneer Tikka Masala, Shrimp Curry and the Anmol Mix Platter. Everything was excellent! Spice factor we did mild, perfect for us. Staff so friendly. 5 star rating all the way.
