The best thing about this restaurant is the service.
I think 3.5 stars is the most accurate rating. The server and the wine service was exception - attentive, kind, and thoughtful. The food is slightly above average. The best plate was the crudo. Also, when you walk in the front door you're absolutely blasted with a fishy smell. Thankfully none of our food was fishy, but the smell was off putting.

Booked after hearing good things about this place, but was somewhat disappointed. I enjoyed the pork belly, tagliatelle and rose panna cotta for dessert, but everything else was mediocre. Was disappointed by the sake-cured fluke, pork loin and steak (which came out completely rare). Cocktail (Memory of Summer) was watered down.

Annabelle, like the other Knightsbridge restaurants, is under the watchful eye of the owner who shows up randomly each night, often more than once, at each of his restaurants. We've been to almost all of the restaurants, and they are consistent performers. We had an early Saturday night reservation and were seated at a table that was very comfortable. There is sound absorbing material in the dining room so we could actually have a real conversation. The food, under Frank Ruta, was lovely (although we missed seeing the roast chicken on the menu). One thing we all appreciated is that the desserts are not so sugary sweet as many other places. Service was professional and efficient. Annabelle is not on the trendy list but it was completely full of what we think as people like us, locals of a certain age or who will be there within a decade or so. We'll be back.tripadvisor.com/ShowUser…
Be the first to ReplyWent here for restaurant week.
I enjoyed all the food and the service was great! The pork belly was a standout it tasted amazing!
Be the first to ReplyFour is probably the perfect number.
I was served with an uncooked Hake that subtracts a star. Restaurant week is a good excuse to clear out my "try" list and I am glad I too a chance. Very European atmosphere with attentive service. Food:Hit and miss. Our shinnying star was Pork Belly. The Chinese classic was well-infused with American interpretations or just a coincidence. Don't miss out the Carrot Cake. It's a bit sweet but why not!

15, 2023. It was my first time there. The atmosphere was beautiful. My entrée was the pork loin. The pork loin was forgettable. The black-eyed peas and greens surrounding the pork loin on the plate were excellent though. For dessert, I ordered the carrot cake. The carrot cake was disappointing. The dish consisted of two 1 1/4" square "cubes" of carrot cake surrounded by two dollops of sour cream ice cream and other yummy additions. The carrot cake was in the dry side. This is an expensive restaurant. I expected more. My wife and four other friends agreed. The wait staff were superb!

From the moment you walk through the front door your eyes see a gorgeous bar. As you go up the stairs, you're engulfed into this classy and beautiful seating area. I was fully in love with the decor, furniture, carpet and even the plates! The colors are luscious! But now, the important part: Food and drinks.Had a lovely French 75 and my friend had the Lopez. :)Our waiter was delightful, very knowledgeable and extremely thoughtful to split our dishes: we tried the brussels sprouts with cranberries, melt in your mouth gnocchi, the buttery and flaky hake (fish), lovely seasoned steak fries and the baked Alaska! Wow! I will be back--can't wait to try other dishes!Ps. Oh, forgot to mention, they called me prior to coming because my reservation was for outside.. they said it'll be a bit chilly and they have indoor seating available. How thoughtful!! Truly appreciated the call.

Came here with a friend - and so glad we came! She originally booked the patio and, because it was going to be cold, the restaurant called her hours before we arrived to see if we'd like to sit indoors (oh yes, we did!). First, the ambiance is stunning. I would love to just transplant their decor to my home! Our server let us know they introduce a completely new menu each season but each week there is a dish removed and another added -- which I love because it'll be like a new restaurant when I come back! My friend and I both ordered cocktails - I got one off the menu with Brandy, coconut milk and cardamom. We split several dishes, starting with the potato gnocchi -- literally melts in your mouth. One of my favorite dishes of the night. They were so kind as to split and serve it on two separate plates. For our main, we split the hake - a white flaky fish that is very light - along with a side of Brussels sprouts and steak fries. The fries were seasoned with a spice blend that I didn't recognize but was both salty and sweet and I wish I could replicate at home. For dessert, we split the baked Alaska which had chocolate cake and peppermint ice cream. It was not an overwhelming peppermint flavor which I liked. In total, our bill came to ~$140 which I thought was reasonable considering we had a LOT of food and a great experience. Our server and the entire staff were all very attentive and answered every question we had about the menu. Will absolutely be coming back!

Very good food, excellent service, comfortable dining room with upscale feel comfortable chairs and great ambience.I ordered the mushroom cream soup for an appetizer and the braised pork as an entree.Everything was prepared well and the service was top notch. Definitely a great option for date night!
Be the first to ReplyWow! Our first time dining there, but it won't be our last.
Excellent service. The server explained the entrees on the menu to perfection. It's not a large menu, but the choices are sufficient. We started with a mushroom soup which was sublime. My trout was outstanding. Beautifully presented, perfectly prepared. Hubby liked his duck which we were told is the chef's signature dish. Valet parking available on the weekends. Otherwise, the street parking can be difficult. Not a long walk from a metro station. Highly recommended.
