Do I need 14 pairs of black Jimmy Choos? 10 pairs of the same Alo yoga set (I'm black and charcoal obvi). 6 pairs of Gucci lovers? Yes the answer is yes. Should you go to Annabel's? If you also have these same addictions coupled with dancing in heels and spilling expensive champagne that your boyfriend will give you that look about...then yes you should. Megan out

Love the Mexican restaurant they have upstairs but the main floor one is better as it's more spacious and offers a good variety of food.

Recently moved to new premises, and includes various restaurants and ย bars. Hottest place in London - unique, elegant, unparalleled.

My sister and I tried to get into Annabella's and they said it was members only. Very unwelcoming and unkind to 2 beautiful foreigner ladies just trying to have a good time. If you plan on going make sure you are with someone who is a "member". Will not be back.

Fabulous members club in Mayfair and an ideal setting for a cocktail pre or post dinner. Located a level below ground off Berkeley square, it's very discrete and cozy inside. They'll make you any cocktail you can dream up and boast a lovely list to inspire you. The decor is traditional and the staff is extremely professional. I wish we had places like this in LA!

I have been here few times at the invitation of a friend who is a member. Great place to catch up and have a short light meetings over a drink. I suppose if you in want of a certain lifestyle than joining this establishment would most certainly open those circles of socialites!

Strict door policy: men must be wearing a jacket and tie, jeans are apparently prohibited but we saw a few on the night. Friendly staff as far as I could tell. This is a legendary establishment supposedly frequented by aristocrats and celebrities, but we mainly saw old men and their much younger female companions. Upon arrival there were several footballers getting down on the starlit dance floor, which was fueled by old standards and newer, cheesier pop alike. There's a terrace upstairs with its own bar and plush sofas for lounging around, if you don't mind the cigar and cigarette smoke. An oddity in London, too, since the outside bit stays open as long as the main club. Drinks are very expensive, but that's what you would expect. Definitely a place to meet lots of characters.
Be the first to ReplyThis is one iconic place.
Very strict door policy, you have to be a member or be invited by one.Every time I come there I keep on thinking that some of the people present are the original members (the club opened in the 60's), they are usually accompanied by plastic-fantastic cougars and tall Eastern European girls. All very funny to watch. But it has always been known as a hang-out spot for British aristocracy (whenever they leave their country manors and travel to London). The food is good, so are the drinks, the service is excellent.Expect to dance to lots of cheesy 70's and 80's tracks - always is a lot of fun after all the champagne.

No better place for a gin fizz (just don't expect to feel overly great the next day if you have more than three or four)!

This is just as true of the DJ, as it is of the decor - and even the staff, who are as denizen as the customers. Be prepared to dance to lots of Abba and Michael Jackson in cocktail dresses, or suit and tie. Reassuringly expensive and refreshingly exclusive - it reminds me of seventies Curzon Street, when the 'White Elephant' was in fashion with polished brass wall panels and uber-dark, cave-like interior. But the place is transformed at Christmas time into a den of gold and faerie lights. There is a fabulous private dining room for 16 where the four walls are lined only by bottles of Bordeaux, allowing for private use of the 'Buddha' room. Clientele is frequently titled, followed by international men of mystery accompanied by stunning women half their age. Food is Franco-Italian, reliable and rarely adventurous. Although, the Bellota Iberico ham often haunts my dreams. The wine list is a corker (excuse the pun) with vintages as old as heirlooms with prices to match - although, as another reviewer pointed out, you can find the odd 'bargain' (but that would be relative). It is one of the finest private members clubs in London. Not as stuffy as Mark's Club (although that place is positively dripping 'English Establishment') but with a venerable sense of class and distinction that makes most London nightclubs feel like school disco.
