I expected more
We were not totally satisfied. The first courses were nothing exceptional, Orecchiette with shellfish, a simple pasta with sauce, nothing exceptional, Carbonara with truffles, ditto. The egg with truffle is very good and particular, while the rest (tartar, lamb and salmon are average).

Absolutely incredible. Don’t miss the lentil soup with ricotta. One if the best dishes of my life. Impeccable service with no pretension. Unique twist on Italian cuisine. Bravo.
Be the first to ReplyExquisite food, suitable venue for a special evening
Well furnished and pleasant place, very kind and well-trained staff, excellent food. Intriguing card. Adequate prices.
Be the first to ReplyAntico Arco ristorante e fantastico!
What a fantastic dinner. Elegant, great food and staff. The kitchen gifted us a meatball with truffle. Then we had pasta with a duck concoction for our primo (shared). Secondi my husband had the Iberian ham dish with celeriac and fennel, I had tuna with dots of garbanzo purée and artichokes. Then we shared tiramisu and a molte n dark chocolate cake and each had Cappuccino. We had a decent rose with dinner but all the food was outrageously great. I guess it’s a bit expensive by Roman standards, but compared to Washington DC, it was very reasonable.

Magnificent, everything truly excellent with a star-worthy dish, very friendly staff, attentive service, impeccable cleanliness, thank you very much, recommended
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Italian, worth the visit
Very nice Italian menu, great cuisine, fresh ingredients. Delicious cockrel, great carbonara with truffles. Be careful with the wine list, hard to find good wine under 100€. Very friendly service.

Pleasant discovery. Great menu. I got chicory, boneless chicken. Excellent cod and pre-sweet entree. Courteous service. Not cheap but in line with high standard
Be the first to ReplyWe truly love it.. just one negative note
Always one of our favorite in Rome, we have spent precious important moments over the years.. Just one negative note, you really have to solve the bad smell in the bathrooms.

Super Top!!! The best restaurant in Rome. Refined menu and excellent service!! A round of applause to the chef who was extraordinary! A Valentine's Day with all the trimmings! Thank you guys!! Service 10
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food, but really rude treatment this last time, shame.
We have been to this restaurant several times, delicious food, truly refined recipes, excellent presentation of the dishes. Unfortunately, the last time on January 31st we ended our dinner tasting "Chanteclair" together with the dessert first and then the spirits. In fact, around 10.30pm while we were eating dessert sitting with another couple, a waiter decided to clean the table in front of us by spraying rivers of the powerful (and smelly) product. We looked at each other in shock but let it go. Shortly after, the table behind us was also freed and the waiter once again started spraying the degreaser as if it were raining. At this point we asked for the bill and will avoid returning in the future. The restaurant still had several tables in the various rooms so this rudeness cannot even be explained by the rush to close or the late hour because it was 11pm. We were really disappointed.

the staff is very helpful and the atmosphere quite warm for the customers, the food is excellent and quite tasty, I was completely satisfied..
Be the first to ReplySuperb
The best meal we had in Rome by a long way. Food was beautifully presented and, of course, tasted fantastic. We had pasta as our first course with the beef loin and tuna for our mains. We were provided with an amuse bouche and complimentary sides with our mains. Service was great and the staff were helpful and attentive even though the restaurant was packed. It can’t be long before Antico Arco gets a Michelin star.
Be the first to ReplyThis was a wonderful experience
We were wandering and wanted a light lunch. We walked into this very stylish and smart little restaurant. White tablecloths and very smart waiting staff. We felt under dressed but we were made so welcome. The ambiance, food, and staff were first class. We were given a complimentary starter, and when I politely refused as I didn’t eat meat they then brought an alternative. Likewise when our main course arrived they also provided a little dish of each other’s choice. We we didn’t want a desert, but again they gave us a little taster (and we both then wished that we had ordered). If this restaurant had been closer to where we were staying we would have gone back every day!
Be the first to ReplyGood but …
This restaurant is nice and fancy, but far from being the best in town. The food is not that tasty, the pasta were random, as well as the starters. It is also quite expensive - you can find better for cheaper.
Be the first to ReplyOur best meal in Rome
This was, far and away, our best meal in Rome. It all starts with how you're received. The service was attentive, caring, and detailed, but without the forced overbearing feeling you sometimes get at places that try just a little too hard. Throughout the evening we were truly waited on with everything revolving around us. The food was phenomenal! We dabbled with some starters, a pair of primis, and then shared a second. The evening was full of great touches from the chef. We got a couple of treats but also got a little taster portion of each other's meal (they caught on to the fact that we like to share). We finished with the tonka bean cookie which was sublime -- something you might not get anywhere else. We loved everything we ate and wished we didn't fill up so much! You pay a bit of money, sure, but the value equation on the service + deliciousness is unmatched. Please come here. Tell everyone you know the same thing. One point: the restaurant is well outside the city so it'll take a bit of getting to. The other reviewers are right: it's up a lot of stair and hills. We foolishly walked and ended up a sweaty mess. Feel free to walk off the food and admire the views on the way back, but definitely take a cab to the restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Food!
This is by far one of the best meals I had in Rome. Good choice - great service - wine list extensive
Be the first to ReplyGreat restaurant for a special occasion.
Service was excellent in most cases, a little slow when we asked for the bill. Food superb and beautifully presented. The outdoor seating was very atmospheric, spoiled only by the occasional attention a bee.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous food!
Delicious food…good portions…great recommendations for local Lazio wines…..rediscovered Frascati! Wine list vast….you can spend a little (relatively) or a lot! Some lovely choices to be made. We were seated upstairs….only ones to start, so a little lacking in ambience to begin with. Next time I visit Rome I shall return and have a table downstairs. Excellent service. Had iced mojito for dessert….wonderful!
Be the first to ReplyAntico Arco for lunch
Had not been here for several years but went to the Gianicolo for the noon cannon shot and then walked down the hill and was pleased to find Antico Arco open for lunch. There were three tables outside, under an awning, and since it was a beautiful day, we ate outside. The service is excellent. There was a complimentary gazpacho, which was very good, along with excellent bread. We had a very good pasta with seafood, and a risotto with red wine reduction (which was good but very, very rich). There was a small complimentary sweet at the end. The only downside was a gentleman (I assume, the owner) sitting at the table next to us at a business meeting while smoking, and the smoke smell while dining was a negative.
Be the first to ReplyGood but not cheap
Good tagliolini with shrimp and very good tartare.
The wine list is very very expensive.
Its ok but i would have expected more in terms of ambience.
