Perfect evening
This restaurant is outstanding! We visited for the second time with friends and we were all blown away by the ambiance and the service. The chef spoke to us personally because I had told our butler (at Las Ventanas) that I was not a foodie and could I possibly request something that wasn’t on the menu. I was surprised when the chef came to the table to talk to me about some ideas! He came up with chicken teriyaki, rice and grilled vegetables. It sounded so delicious that my friend ordered it as well. It should be added to the menu because it was truly amazing. The teriyaki sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted. My husband and our other friend ordered a lobster dish and they both enjoyed it. After dinner the chef came to the table again to see if I enjoyed my meal!! Wow! This was so impressive. Abraham was our server and he was professional, knowledgeable and attentive. We needed help choosing a Champagne so he sent the Sommelier to make suggestions. She was super informative . Please do not hesitate to go to Arbol. Ask questions and if something isn’t right just talk to the chef!!! He’s amazing! Thank you all for a wonderful evening!!

Gorgeous setting. Decor is beautiful. Service was cold and robotic from hostess to server. Felt like we were a nuisance. Food also was mediocre. Creative presentation but busy plates with many ingredients & lighting was poor so hard to see what we were eating. Overpriced. $50 for glass of Sancerre. I think there are better options.

Extraordinary, fabulous and exquisite once in a lifetime dinner. Not for anyone on a budget! Great service and great food in a spectacular decor!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Breakfast and Service
The breakfast buffet was excellent! So many options--even for me, a vegetarian--including some American, Mexican, and French options. Great pastries. We also had amazing service from Felix and Cristina at Arbol!
Be the first to ReplyPan asian/indian dishes in luxurious setting
Luxurious setting, probably better after dark or at sunset. Service was as expected - attentive, and polished. Food was very good but pricier than even the setting warranted, in my opinion. Good sampling variety of asian, stir fry and Indian dishes. It was good, but I would not return. Alebrije at same hotel - I would go back again and again

They definitely spared no expense to make this restaurant beautiful. Nestled next to the beautiful pool area at this exquisite resort, it felt like a very private dining experience. Cocktails were again super expensive ($35 for a Tito’s martini) so we didn’t do many drinks and no wine with dinner. We started with the spring rolls and the spicy ahi, and both were exceptional. The Asian fusion menu is unique, but every item we ordered was delicious and flavorful. The August heat and high cocktail prices probably deterred us from staying as long as we would have otherwise, but definitely a memorable meal.

Food was delicious and service was impeccable! Spicy tuna Tatar to start was fresh and just the right amount of spice. The salmon was cooked perfectly with complementary flavors of pineapple and teriyaki. Staff was very attentive overall a great experience! With a on the house dessert for a birthday beautiful touch to make it personal.

Had Christmas dinner but managed to get only late night reservation. Service, views and venue were all great. Seating outdoor in December is not fun in Cabo (as it gets pretty cool). We were given blankets and had heaters next to the table(though it still felt cold). The staff was very helpful and friendly . Food was delicious though not everything was outstanding. For a fantastic amount the food (esp. drinks cost here), I'd save this for those special occasions when you don't mind splurging. Overall, the experience was unique and I'd recommend checking it out on your next visit. If money is no object, this is an outstanding place and a fine dining experience that is well worth a visit.

Beautiful restaurant with live music, great service and delicious food. What more could you ask for while on vacation. The 6 piece sushi appetizer “Temari” wasn’t our favorite, we tried all of except the yellow tail. From the Wok section we ordered The lobster fried rice & stir fried Wagyu beef they were both great, the catch of the day in the banana leaf with coconut sauce was amazing. We had 3 desserts, the bananand & tapioca brûlée were whatever, and the kerala crunch was the Indian dish called jalebi. It was quite different and really good we all enjoyed it. We had 3 drinks, a wine and 2 cocktails that were really good. Overall we enjoyed our experience and would go again.

We ventured over to Las Ventanas from the neighboring Hilton La Pacifica to liven up our dining experiences, The setting is beautiful and the food is different and fantastic. The early darkness of this time of year highlights the ambiance, with an illuminated tree lined entry path and sculpted trees to keep the theme in the restaurant. The cuisine is unique in being strongly Indian while primarily sea food. Tandoori lobster was exceptional. The service was fitting for the high level experience being promoted. As we've learned from other restaurants in Cabo, avoid American wines unless you are fine with paying more than 5 times the store price in the states. The Mexican wines are worth a try and much more reasonably priced.

Incredible. A must visit. Expensive, but good portion sizes and the setting is really what you are there for. Its fantastic food with great service. A must visit for sure. Probably one of the coolest restaurants I've ever been to, and would return without a doubt.
Be the first to ReplyBest elegant Asian food
By far the best Asian food in Los Cabos. Arbol is located in Las Ventanas hotel. Arbol is in open space. The service was excepcional. The food have a touch of Indian and Thai food. Our waiter said the chef was coming from Mumbai. If you enjoy Asian food this place is for you. They also have caviar!!

First off, aesthetically Arbol is one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever been! The trees, the hanging lanterns, the water, the infinity seats….all stunning! Not sure if there’s live music every night, but there was a live contemporary/jazz band there which can be loud but definitely very talented folks! We arrived to see a “tasting menu”. Portions are very small but insanely flavorful! Make sure to order extra naan bread. Phenomenal. Wagyu beef melted like butter and tuna tartar was amazing….oh btw, I hate tuna. That tells ya something. Only reason I gave Arbol 4 stars and not 5 is a) we had to ask 4 times for more bread. The second time I asked, the waiter replied: well you guys only ordered 3…..hmmmmm…..well I’m ordering more! You will pay for the amazing flavors and aesthetic so be prepared. I do recommend for romantic and/or classy evenings in Cabo.

I agree with the previous reviewer - this was the best restaurant we visited in Cabos. For context some of the restaurants we dined at were Sunset Mona Lisa, Comal, Rooftop at The Cape, Agua, El Farallon, Lumiere, and ME Taboo. We were given a property tour before dinner and the resort looked beautiful. I wished we had stayed here but we chose the Waldorf for part of our stay and a number of other hotels. The ambience at dinner was outstanding. We loved the food and the magician visiting the tables after dinner. The service was the best we received from our whole trip. I wish I could remember the ladys name who we mainly dealt with- I think it began with L (she had also visited Rosewood Mayakoba) . We followed dinner with drinks at La Botica which was great fun.
Be the first to ReplyBest dinner of all resorts in Los Cabos — amazing food, service, and ambience
While staying at Las Ventanas last week, we changed our last night’s dinner from Acre to Arbol based on the recommendation of our neighbors who’d recently dined at both. And wow, are we glad we did.
Arbol was unquestionably the nicest dinner in we enjoyed for our week at Las Ventanas. It blew away our terribly disappointing dinners at Manta and Comal. The food was actually inspired and delicious, the service was fantastic from start to finish, and the romantic ambience for a restaurant that doesn’t have ocean views was actually spectacularly surprising.
Asian Mexican fusion didn’t seem like it would work, but Arbol was everything we’d hoped for and more. Our caviar service was sublime. Our Wagyu stir fry and lamb chop entrees both were absolutely delicious. And the desserts were unique and so tasty, too. Not a single miss at all.
The romantic ambience was wonderful. Our private table within the pool was super comfortable and private and was a nice surprise. The musical accompaniment was just the right level to add ambience without being onerous. That music also helped hide the fact that the restaurant is close to the nearby highway and doesn’t have any real views to speak of.
Service was pretty flawless.
We loved it. Highly recommended. It ain’t cheap, but none of the dine dining in Los Cabos is. At least this one was actually delicious.
Disappointed
Showed up with a confirmed reservation. All to find out that they weren’t taking resos. After driving 20 mins to get there. What a joke. Over priced, but as locals were giving them the benefit of the doubt. Never again…

Arbol is a restaurant at a very high end resort where aesthetics and attention to detail are impeccable. 👌 and then there is the food and drinks which are stellar...
Be the first to ReplySimply Fabulous
Wow! We are staying at Las Ventanas so we decided we would try Arbol. The setting is unbelievable. Doesn’t even seem like it’s part of the resort. There are lights on all the trees, and it’s located on one of the upper pools but it really feels as if you are completely secluded. Just a magnificent setting. The food was every bit as good as the setting. Many Asian style dishes to choose from. We were a bit hesitant about Asian cuisine in Mexico, but this was simply wonderful. I cannot say enough about this unique experience. Highly recommend!

My husband and I love visiting the best of San Jose and Cabo and we were thoroughly disappointed with our dinner at Arbol. First, the ambiance leaves something to be desired as, yes, we had an ocean view but it was directly obstructed by an inset table of seven (and there is no way to avoid of this). So we spent the evening overlooking someone else’s dinner. Then, the appetizers were reasonably good but the entrees were horrendous for the price. I had the octopus which I should have sent back as it was a rubbery mess and while my husbands beef and reef was very tasty, it cost $30 more than it should have (and again, I say this as Chicago foodies used to Michelin star restaurant and prices). There are much better restaurants in San Jose, I am sad we wasted our last night here.
Be the first to ReplyAbsoloutely Amazing!!!
From the moment we arrived the service was extraordinary. From the greetings at the car, to the wait staff, we were blown away before the food even arrived. The decor is sexy chic. The food was fresh and absoloutely delish. My husband and I have decided to stay at las ventanas instead of our usual the Waldorf based on this experience. Now it’s $$$ but worth every penny. I’ll also add they had the most amazing band playing live Cuban music !!! What a bonus!
