Aris Austin Reviews
I had a really nice experience at Aris Steakhouse in Austin.
The food was very good - the octopus is a must-try and honestly one of the best things I've eaten! The steak was also delicious, with a great portion size and flavor. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. It is on the pricier side, but for a special occasion it's worth it. It may not be the absolute best steakhouse in Austin, but it's definitely a good experience and worth visiting.

The detail to the finest porterhouse with bone marrow and added giant southern european prawns ! Fine breads, salads and an array of mediterranean appetizers to make a meal out of !
Elegance without pretension.
This restaurant truly delivers an experience. The service from the hostess to the general manager was fantastic. The food was delicious and the ambiance was stylish and upscale without being stuffy.
Amazing food and ambiance.
Frank and his team definitely impress. Great for a date night or a group dinner!
Aris has claimed the top spot in our steak dinner
Aris has claimed the top spot in our steak dinner rotation! We've long been loyal to 3 Forks, Perry's, and Bulevar, but Aris just raised the bar. Part of the SOF Hospitality group, Aris delivers a Mediterranean/Israeli-inspired menu concept. Google "Aris - SOF Hospitality" for the full story. The restaurant decor is modern and warm. It's a bit noisy, but not a distraction. Service is impeccable. Our server guided us through our entire dining experience. Valet parking is available, but we found parking just a two-minute walk away. We kicked things off with two flawless martinis, they arrived exactly as ordered, complete with hand-stuffed blue cheese olives. Then the complimentary bread servic arrived. Oh man this was dangerously good. The focaccia was our favorite, with the olive loaf close behind. The sumac butter and whipped olive oil marmalade? Unexpected and absolutely delicious. it took all of our willpower to not devour this bread service. The tomato salad App was a standout: four unique tomato preparations, Moroccan olives, jalapeΓ±o, egg yolk, and feta. If you're a tomato lover, this dish is a must. We both ordered the dry-aged rib-eye. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked medium rare to perfection. Our veggie side was equally good. Because this was a celebratory dinner, we were comped a chocolate dessert that was beyond decadent. Aris will $et you back but is well worth it. Their happy hour also has great reviews and that is on the radar for a return visit. Aris is an easy-peasy 5-star review.

jules was incredible, highly recommend this restaurant for a high end night. We went for a company dinner and they did incredible
Wanted to love it , did not.
Food was fine but service felt canned and mechanical. Better places in town for the money by a country mile
We were a company of 4 on the 20th.
My Lil Sissy Chingbee and I are from out of town visiting and Mohnish Pabrai and my Baby Doc Sis Lyn treated us to Aris Steakhouse. Thank you so much! I liked the ambiance, the noise in the whole restaurant was mellow and the restaurant itself showed an air of elegance. In short it is high end. The food was superbThe broccolini was tasty and the mushroom was divine. I liked them both that I wanted more. The highlight of our dinner was the Porterhouse and the Grassfed Tenderloin which were served with flambe' and cut by the waiter with expertise served with a sauce on a bone marrow. What a food art I must say. Very tasty indeed and I proudly filmed it and posted in on youtube to show to my friends back home that I was there. https://youtube.com/shorts/8PBUOa4pMvs?si=zeWakx4xeJVGjwsV
Tried the happy hour and over all would come back again.
For drinks, 50% off during happy hour, we tried Biscoff espresso Martini which I think is probably the best in the city. I have tried pretty good ones too. Not a lychee martini and Aris G&T which was also good. For the snacks. We got octopus skewer which was so tender and definitely recommended. We were told it was cooked for about 9 hours including 6 hours of Sous vide. I had the Aris burger which I thought was average. Not bad but excellent either. I thought the burger only had tasted on the outside. Truffle fries were great. Oysters for half a dozen which was amazing. Definitely fresh when we had it. We also had Israeli salad which was not quite as we expected. But it's majority hummus with other ingredients as the toppings. No pita, so it was eaten by it self which was actually good. We ended with a Dubai chocolate which was amazing. If you had Dubai chocolate before, you would know there is some crunchiness in it. They were able to do this crunchiness by including it in the toppings so your bite does feel like you are eating a Dubai chocolate. The ambiance was ok. I think because we're there early? I thought it was a little too much light if you know what I mean. Overall I would go back again to try their Entrees.

This hits it all! Tight menu, with amazing options- the warm bread assortment + dips, especially the marmalade were fantastic. Cocktails were stiff in lovely glassware. Service was attentive & v helpful. Hands down one of the best steaks you would find in austin. Steak house with Mediterranean nod... sexy, high dining vibe. Excited to come back & sit at the bar.
