I really loved our stay here.
The staff were amazing and hooked us up with free drinks every night. Everything was clean, modern and FUN! The one draw back is that the rooms are really really small. There's no place to open the suitcase or unpack clothes. If you're just hanging out a few nights it's totally worth dealing with the small space. Both of the restaurants are cool.

We stayed at Arlo Soho last month because we had stayed at Arlo Midtown in the past and had a great experience. This hotel however was even smaller than the Midtown room. There was no room to open a suitcase unless you did so on the tiny floor space. The sink was in the room outside of the bathroom which was extremely odd. There was a frosted door for the bathroom which offers little to no privacy. The front desk attendants were nice and assisted us quickly with check in and check out. The location of the hotel is good, luckily we received an interior room so didn't hear any noise from the Holland tunnel. I will probably look for another option if I stay in Soho again.

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever been to simply not up to normal standards management is horrible customer service is horrible, rooms were small, I expected better.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible place to stay.
Sheets are not clean towels are still moist. There is a small bug problem in the kitchen and bar. The staff is trained to be prejudice and management is worst. If you are employed by Arlo hotel you might have a problem receiving your check due to bounced checks. Arlo hotel

Arlo is a cute chain of hotels, with a generally welcoming vibe and really nice smelling lobbies. I recently hung out at this location's rooftop bar because my friend was DJing a Friday night event there. It was a temperate night, so we made use of the outdoor terrace, where there was a lot more breathing room and space to move. The inside area was packed to the gills, but we wanted to remain inside to support our friend DJing and to hit the dance floor. The indoor part is small, taken up mostly by a large lounge area that was off limits to everyone because of a reservation for a group that never showed during the time I was there. We did our best two step within the confines of the space and danced around the perimeter. The bartenders were slammed and it was near impossible to get a drink. Typical mainstream nightlife in the city, and not really for me.

Plain rooftop Hotel with no true central view of the skyline. Only saving grace is there's decent food and seating the levels below. $15 a drink.
Be the first to ReplyThis location was nice and the staff were outstanding.
The room was clean but very small which I think is typical for Manhattan. We had a twin room but only two towels. The lobby smells like an Abercrombie store and is sprayed with cologne or something that is very strong. The location wasn't super convenient as the nearest stores, restaurants (other than the attached restaurant) and subway were at least a quarter of a mile away. That doesn't sound like much but in NYC, it's kind of unusual. Although our room was paid for by another entity, they still had me put my card down for security and incidentals and ended up charging my card for the room. They were apologetic for the charge but still aggravating. Overall, I would stay here again.

The hotel was nice, I'd say I think it should have been a bit nicer for the cost to get that 5 star review. In a great location a bit quieter in Soho almost Tribeca. Went for a staycation and has good spots nearby (a pasta bar or veranda for dinner and maman for breakfast) It's kinda like a cruise ship vibe in the king room. Really comfy bed and pillows imo. I'd request a higher level floor if you can. The shower didn't have a door which was a bit odd. i had a bottle of wine I wanted to open and they made me come downstairs to open it which was a bit of a bummer imo. Otherwise good.
