BLOCK/do NOT order delivery from this terribly-run hole in the wall. I'm embarrassed to write that it happpened to me twice - I thought I was ordering from Down The Hatch/Atomic Wings on West 4th both times but Seamless redirected somehow. In NYC we suffer a lot of crap but having a restaurant string you along for 3 hours trying to get your dinner and simply lying to cover their asses is 100% unacceptable. The first time I waited 2 hours but eventually got cold food that I had to microwave, which made it inedible. Last night, at the one hour mark, I opened my email from Seamless and clicked on the phone number in the email and called them. The guy on the phone said they had "no record" of the order and, blaming it on me, the customer, that I had called the wrong location. I explained to him that the number we were currently speaking on was IN the email from Seamless attached TO my order. Trying to cover his irresponsible ass he kept insisting I was in the wrong - I wasn't. I then called Seamless, they called the SAME restaurant and the guy immediately changed his story saying they HAD filled my order and that it had left the restaurant 30 minutes before the call they were on. Just straight up lying again. He told Seamless it should be to me within 20 minutes. At the 30 minute mark I called again and he said he just couldn't imagine how it had not arrived yet but the restaurant would start another order that would be to me within 30 minutes. At the 20 minute mark he called back saying they had run out of tater tots. I told him to f*ck off, called Seamless, got my money returned, had my Seamless support person block the restaurant and went to bed without dinner. Save yourself some frustration and avoid this let-down like the plague!
