Ok
If you like larger portions of perfectly average food, this place is great. The bread was fresh and warm, the wine we choose was wonderful. The food itself was somewhat bland, but hot and plentiful. The service also was very good. We had higher expectations given the great reviews unfortunately.

I made a reservation online and went at peak time. The bar was full and restaurant at about 90% capacity. The Hostess was busy and acknowledged our arrival, but sat us within about 5 minutes. She was very friendly. It was our last night in Henderson and I wanted meat! I ordered the Filet with some peppercorn sauce - it was excellent. Side of potatoes and asparagus was also good. My wife ordered the Short Ribs and Pasta, I tried it, the meat was so tender and pasta/sauce had a great flavor. This is why I like the service: when the server is busy, the fella came around for bread and water, another person showed up and asked how we were doing, took a dirty plate I was finished with, another fella served the food AS soon as it was ready - hot plate and hot food directly to the table. They worked together and someone delegated the tasks so we were taken care of.
Be the first to ReplyFood is ok..nothing special.
Typical Italian joint with overpriced pasta dishes. They do have live musin in summer which makes this place tolerable. Once was enough. Too many better places in the area.
Be the first to ReplyNot so great service, not so great food, loud entertainment equals one bad experience
What ever happened to fresh cracked pepper, fresh grated parmesan cheese? and what is it with loud live music on a quiet patio. If you cannot hear other people speaking at your table --- the music is jut "too damn loud". High prices to wrap it all up and I will not plan to visit this place "EVER" again.
Be the first to ReplyGreen Valley Shopping District Restaurant Jewel
The LV area is full of excellent Italian restaurants, but this one in the Green Valley shopping district is worth trying. First rate service, excellent food, beautiful setting that is reasonably priced. The manager, Robert Costanzo , made my wife and feel like VIPs and comfortable. My wife requires a GF diet and this restaurant can accommodate it. Totally Five Star!

Bella Vita has a good atmosphere, but was disappointed twice with the food. Spoke to Management and they were very nice but nothing changed, Tried it 2 times. Italian food should come out hot when the kitchen is right next to table.

My company has always been able to count on Bella Vita for their amazing food and service for our group dining. Robert and Daniel at the District location are so wonderful to work with, detailed oriented and are very accommodating with all of our requests. This wasn't our first time dining with Bella Vita and it certainly won't be the last. Thank you Robert and Daniel for making our group dinner memorable.
Be the first to Replygreat appetizers
We decided on just appetizers for take away and were not disappointed. The meatballs were super and the calamari just perfect.
Be the first to ReplyLovely outside patio
Our server was Vinny and he was terrific. Sadly, they had not received their bread shipment for the day, so our desire for Bruchette was not going to happen.
Hubby had the gnocchi in bolognese sauce ($16) and it was good. My filet of sole ($19) was good, but pasta wasn’t hot.
Lovely outside patio and we enjoyed our lunch
Very disappointed, food was not as we expected and prices high.
Very disappointed. We visited Bella Vita at the District for the first time. It's always very busy so we thought would give it a try. Ambience was good and staff was friendly. However that's where it stopped. We ordered calamari as an appetizer. It was just okay the marinara sauce was runny and flavorless. The best part was the fried potatoes that came with it. For dinner my wife ordered their special surf and turf. Wow this was a disappointment. The steak was cooked as requested, medium rare. But, it was a bit stringy and chewy and covered with a thick brown sauce. I thought it tasted like a pot roast. The tiny lobster tail that came with it was overcooked and dry. I ordered the chicken parmigiana. The chicken was okay, just a flattened breast with melted cheese. The spaghetti sauce was orange colored and to me tasted like the canned chef Boyardee spaghetti I ate as a child. I ordered a beer on tap and it was fine, about 12 oz. My wife ordered wine and the pour was small, my guess 4-5 oz. This not so fine dinner with a single tiramisu we shared cost $180 with tip! Outrageous for what we received.
Some other observations were that the bartender was not wearing a mask. This was also true for several of the cooks. While some had masks, they were wearing them like chin diapers. We also were annoyed by the bussers. They were always coming to our table to ask it they could pick up our plates while we were still eating our meal. Sure, in a busy resturant and they want to turn your tables. But they should not drive out the customers. I can remember them coming back 4 or 5 times to ask if they could pick up our plates.
We will not be going back and would not advise others to eat at Bella Vita.
Ray knows Vegas
I had lunch and was greated at the table by Vinny our waiter very nice. The menus were dirty. Ordered a shrimp scampi appetizer not very good was a little sour flavor. The Avocado salad and fresh mozzarella were excellent but when the food runner delivered it he left the dirty dishes on the table. The main entree was served Vodka penne pasta and chicken parmesan were both good but once again the food runner auctioned of the food who has the chicken Parmesan that is very unprofessional. The wine by the glass looks like a short poor. I think the Restaurant manager needs to step up his game and restrain his staff.
Be the first to ReplyGood food & good entertainment outside!
We were in the area for an appointment & walked by afterwards. Decided to take a chance , we ended up outside as the bar was too crowded. We both enjoyed our meals. I got a glass of Moscato d'Asti --hubby had a Peroni. I ordered the Linguine Pesto(no meat) and hubby got Linguine Clams, we ordered a side of Brussels sprouts. Enjoyed a nice dinner, we were outside so nice that water glasses were refilled. It was a nice evening to sit outside which is rare in Vegas during July. Mark was playing music & singing outside it was very nice evening.

Visited for my wife's birthday. My son ordered milk to drink and he said it tasted rotten. I tried it and almost threw up everywhere . Rotten was an understatement. I complained to my server and she brought the milk container out to the table to show my it wasn't expired , though she refused to taste it, almost to say that I was making it up.
No manager even came by to check on us, that is crazy, and then they didn't even take off my kids meal .
Overpriced, underwhelming, and rotten.
We will never return and this will be a cautionary tale over and over .
Let this be your warning
Bella vita exhibits European charm and the Best part is Randy Hall on the patio.
Between the wonderful service and beautiful patio in the Green Valley District it feels like a Italian patio in Italy .
The patio on Friday nights is lively and festive due to the fabulous music performed by Randy Hall .He has an old school repertoire but it suits the ambience of the resturant .He encourages people to dance and it doesn't take much to get people up and dancing .
Giovanna the General Manager and Sergio run a very loving friendly resturant and it is always where I take guest from out of town to hear Randy sing and play guitar and experience this festive darling patio.
Annoyed!
Second times a charm, 2 reservations cancelled. They state they are having a private event. Are they an EVENT PLACE or a restaurant??!! I hope they make up their mind, but my friends and I will never return. We will continue to dine in the Village at Lake Las Vegas instead, where we are ALWAYS welcomed and accommodated.
