Huge disappointment
Being a regular at the other Blue Ribbons around the city, I was hopeful about this place.
However, I found out that it has nothing to do with any of the other BR sushi joints. The rice was at least a day old, sticky to the point of being mush, it was ice cold and tasteless.
None of the rolls had any flavor, tempura of the spider roll especially tasted like Outback steak house bloomin onion.
The waiter was an absolute disaster, disappearing for half an hour at a time and then showing up with an attitude.
There is definetely better sushi at half the price at whole foods. What a huge disappointment for the BR brand.
Holiday Team Dinner in NYC
The food and service were exceptional. This was our holiday team dinner to thank everyone for their efforts and hard work throughout the year. This dinner was intended to be special, and it certainly did not disappoint!

We had excellent sashimi, and kushi yaki skewers. (Don't miss the duck meatball skewers.) The menu is extensive, with high-quality ingredients, and dinner can get seriously pricy. The restaurant is open late, so it's a good after-theatre choice if you're staying in a nearby neighborhood.

The sushi and the izakaya (excluding the ribs) were disappointing. The price was higher than I would have expected for the very average fare and the ambience was hip and young. The wait staff was ok and the wines were underwhelming. I would go somewhere else for sure.

My friend and I were staying in the Sixty Les Hotel in which we received a 50 credit every day toward the restaurant. I will happily say I am glad we received this package as it allowed us to explore menu items that we might not have if we did not have the credit. I had both breakfast and lunch at this restaurant and both were phenomenal. My favorite was breakfast. For lunch my friend had their chicken wings which had so much flavor and were fried perfectly. For breakfast I had their 3 egg white omelet with tater tots and this was also amazing. If I am in the area I would definitely revisit the restaurant.

A truly fantastic and transporting experience. The yakitori skewers like chicken thigh and Tokyo scallion are best outside of Japan. The pickled hearts of palm salad is a standout. The sushi is perfection, the maki rolls sublime. And the atmosphere is like hidden upstairs establishment in Pontocho area of Kyoto.

It was my first time going to a blue ribbon restaurant and it lived up to its reputation.
The cocktails were great and the food was what you would except .
Exceptional quality and great execution.
A real nice variety from there traditional dishes to all the sushi options you could ever want . The desserts were a bit of a let down after after a great meal .
The service wasnโt as attentive as it could have been we had to continually look for our server .
It was a Friday night , but thatโs no excuse .
I would highly recommend it and well worth the trip way downtown
Suchi sushi sushi!!
If you love sushi, you must come here. We ordered blue ribbon sushi long board. It is about 170 dollars along. Well worth it. The sashimi's are fresh. Can't go wrong with it. We also got uni's rolls, spicy tuna rolls and cucumber's.
Got the pork belly, chicken, beef, shrimps and scallops yakatori's. I find that the beef and pork belly are the best. The scallop and shrimp yakatori's were too salty.
The waiter was attentive and the food came out fast.
It does get busy on the weekend.
