A Great Place to Eat!
We stopped here for an early dinner and had a great meal. The ambience was nice and the staff was attentive. The food was excellent. I enjoy a good BBQ sandwich and this was one of the best I've ever had. We ordered the brisket and pulled pork and they were both excellent.

Found this place due to its proximity to the 9/11 Memorial Garden. It's in a pedestrianized street full of restaurants. Indoor or outdoor seating. Indoor was very noisy - very loud music which made conversation impossible so we sat outside. Service was fairly quick. Food was a bit disappointing and barely warm. Overpriced for what it was. Would not go again.

We discovered Blue Smoke in Battery Park City by accident. The service was great as was the food. We had ribs and brisket, both were tasty, juicy and on the point.

The place is really nice as well as the staff, super professional and kind. We ate meat basically and everything was good, at a fair price. I would definitely recommend this place!
Be the first to ReplyDry meat and overpriced.
After anticipating a tasty mouth watering BBQ meal, instead we got a dry and not especially tasty dinner which I felt was really overpriced (nearly $40 for a few slices of brisket!). This is the only time Iโve visited so maybe the chef was having an off-night, but at this price ($110 for 2 people with no starters or desserts and just one beer each) I donโt think there should be any off nights. I certainly would not go back next time Iโm in NYC. On the plus side, the atmosphere was good and the Mac n cheese side was really tasty.
