A lovely experience
From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed. It was our first visit. We loved the decor and ambiance. We were a party of 3. Our food was perfect. We of course had champagne too! We couldn’t fault our experience. Service was excellent. We will hopefully return soon.

Back again for a special occasion and we loved every moment of it! Still the best beef wellington! Looking forward to go back again!
Be the first to ReplyImpeccable culinary experience within a captivating dining establishment
The purpose of going to a restaurant like Bob Bob Ricard is usually to celebrate a special occasion and to have a memorable meal - and they truly cooked up an exceptional dining experience. Even for such a high-end restaurant, the ambiance was still cozy and inviting whilst remaining sophisticated in its chic decor. It goes without saying that the food was of the highest quality and tasted delicious and the service was flawless in its attention to detail - the staff were so impeccably dressed and made us feel very welcome. Highlights included the scallop, lobster and shrimp pelmeni which was intensely rich in flavour and melted in your mouth, and the BBR Signature Chocolate Glory which was luscious. It is obvious that they put a lot of meticulous thought into making and combining every element of this restaurant into a truly gastronomic delight.

What a great experience. We were here for Christmas dinner (evening). We had a large group and had a great table on the first floor. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. The food was terrific. We'd prepaid for Christmas at a set fee and trying to make sure we ordered enough food was the only difficulty. We tried the sampling of caviars and each one was unique and wonderful. The steak tartare appetizer was one of the best I've had. I enjoyed the Chateaubriand and my sons loved the Beef Wellington for two. The champagnes were delicious and we enjoyed trying a variety. The desserts were a fine way to finish off the meal, particularly the strawberry souffle and chocolate caviar.

This restaurant is incredible! The setting was gorgeous, the interior decor was 1920s style. The champagne button was such a fun idea also. I had the champagne and chicken pie and my partner had the chateaubriand for main course. The food was amazing. So elegantly presented, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The waiter very kindly brought out a little dessert for me as it was my birthday. I felt this was a very special birthday meal. I would highly recommend!

Amazing experience. The tuna tartare and beetroot tartare were divine and the sticky toffee was to die for. The service was impeccable and our waiter was very attentive. Would hundred percent come back and recommend.
Be the first to ReplyGreat experience, food and service
Everything was spot on. We were seated within 2 minutes of arriving at the restaurant. Greeted very professionally by our server who answered all our questions and made fantastic recommendations. They have a great Champagne list (prices are higher than other restaurants). All the dishes were prepared meticulously and were very flavorful. I cant wait to come back and bring my family.

We have been to both Bob Bob Ricard restaurants on a number of occasions both as a couple and with friends and family, we have always loved the experience. We were therefore delighted to receive an incredibly thoughtful gift of a £200 voucher for our 30th wedding anniversary. We booked the table and even put on the booking that we had a voucher. All went well, usual great food, us usual good service. However then we came to pay and said we had a voucher. This was treated with an air of distain from our waiter. Initially thorough no fault of ours they got the voucher number wrong and couldn’t process it, my credit card was taken out of the machine when I tried to pay the balance and flung on the table. Eventually this was sorted out and I paid the balance of another £200 but recieved no apology. I assume the staff felt that perhaps we could not afford to eat a £400 meal unless we had a voucher and therefore felt it was acceptable to treat our payment as an inconvenience. This whole thing was really embarrassing and spoilt our celebration. Despite being repeat visitors who have recommended BobBob to friends and family we will not be back and if you are thinking of gifting someone a meal here spend your money somewhere else
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing - don’t bother!
Disappointing! Such a lovely looking restaurant, with friendly staff especially the Champagne lady, receptionist and cloakroom attendant. Sadly it would be better to have less glitz and even an average level of service. This restaurant doesn’t deliver if you are looking for any level of service, no-one checks during the meal if all is ok, whether more drinks are needed..,I get that in a pizza place! The poor service seems to stem from the management, as there are lots of people busying themselves, but no-one attentive, if you are not in a large group.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful dining experience.
This spot is absolutely perfect for Dinner with friends , family or partners. The service, decor and food were wonderful. We were all famished after a long day and Bob Bob Picard ticked every box. We are already planning another visit to London so we can experience another perfect dining extravaganza. The Champagne button was a dream!
Be the first to ReplyPre Hamilton Dinner
When we arrived on Saturday night we were a bit early as we were booked to see Hamilton after dinner. We were seated at the bar and ordered a couple of drinksl before we were taken to our booth. A friend had recommended this place to me so I was really excited. We ordered our mains, I had a chicken Kiev and my husband had a lobster mac and cheese. We shared some truffle fries. We them ordered desserts. We had a taste tatin and a chocolate mousse. I pushed the button and we ordered some champagne to have with our desserts. I also got a sponge dessert with a sparkler as it was my birthday weekend. The service was brilliant. We would recommend to anyone
Be the first to ReplySo disappointed
Me and my friends came here for my birthday last weekend , I’ve been wanting to visit for so long! But was really disappointed with the food. Firstly we never received the bread and olives we ordered , my starter was a tomato salad but I have made nicer ones at home. When our mains arrived they was all Luke warm so the time we put the food on our main plate it was cold , we sent the side of mash back but returned after we had finish our food. The chicken pie was also cold! And had hardly any filling , I was still hungry after. The desert was very nice though. The whole atmosphere of the place was boring and quiet, I was really disappointed especially as it was for a birthday celebration. Completely over hyped.

This was our least favorite meal in London. Service was unfriendly and food was very average. Definitely not a “must try” in London.

having heard a lot about this, especially on Instagram, I I was looking forward to this place and booked it a few months in advance. Clearly they didn’t appreciate my custom by giving us a basement table, which is far worse than the ground floor restaurant. The service was below par. I couldn’t understand why my appetiser came at the same time as I was having my oysters. As much as I was fond of the waitress, she was clearly struggling to cope with the workload in this understaffed restaurant . To make things worse as we were finishing our dessert drinks the maitre d was trying to get us out when there were nobody waiting for a table. The soufflé was clearly out of the fridge rather than the oven. Overall a very disappointing experience . the food was just about ok. wine was fabulous. experience was on par with the local nandos.
Be the first to ReplyBest meal ever, can't wait to go again!
We were visiting London from Leeds, as a joint celebration for our birthdays (our gift to each other!) And had the most wonderful meal out. From the warm welcome, to our many bags being taken and stashed away for us, the excellent service and the beautiful decor, we knew we were on for a treat...and indeed we were when we also had one of the best meals of our lives - better than the Michelin starred 'man behind the curtain' we recently visited in Leeds! I found the entire experience luxurious yet relaxed, plush yet laid back, with impeccable service that was discreet - I couldn't ask for more. My husband was able to indulge his love of oysters, we both obsessed over the selection of caviar we tried (luckily we each had a different favourite!), Enjoyed with an icy 12 times filtered vodka. I was in heaven with my steak tartare, and my husband was almost brought to tears by his dumplings. The tomato salad side was the perfect accompaniment, really set off by the tangy dressing and salty pops of black olives.... And we both enjoyed a picpol with our mains... A small and delightful desert with a sparkler gifted to us as a birthday treat, followed by an incredible coffee rounded the most special meal off nicely. It really was something special. Also, I must remember a huge shout out to our waiter Chris for being amazing. If you are um-ing and ah-ing, go, you'll love it!!

Just superb! We had the most fabulous evening once again. Everything was excellent. Fantastic service, incredible food and extremely fairly priced for the level of quality. We will be back 🥂 do not miss this place!
Be the first to ReplyDaughter’s 21 Birthday lunch
Our original booking was shut (see another review), but luckily we got a walk-in at this place. WOW! We’d tried to book months before, but could t get the table we wanted, so this was fate! Service was exemplary. Discrete, good humoured and efficient. The short menu meant that choices were quickly made. Cocktails were ordered, devoured and we made good use of the “champagne button!” All of the food was immaculately presented and very tasty. The Wellington’s were sooooooo good! Puddings, and lots of other tasty bits at the end of the meal added to the overall experience, but by then we were stuffed and just ordering for fun - no need for extra vodka at -18 degrees! Thanks @bobbobricard You saved the day and my daughter’s 21 birthday lunch was a triumph, something we will all remember and cherish.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful and Lovely Experience
Came here with some friends for lunch. The staff was very nice and always came whenever we would press the champagne button. Our waiter was very helpful and explained the dishes to us and was very helpful during the duration of our meal. The decor of the restaurant is spectacular and is very picturesque. All in all, I would 100% return again with friends and family and it was a wonderful visit that I would recommend to others.
Be the first to ReplyFelt like a tourist trap with michelin star prices
We was welcomed with a warn greeting and ushered down to a booth with the magical champagne button. But that is where the love stopped !! The floor manager had as much depth as a child's paddling pool, the servers where as flat as welcome party for Gary glitter . There was no love/suggestions or care over your experience. With a bill of over £450 for a lunch, I would save it and spend it some where that appreciates the money. The ingredients where fine but no love, care or consideration

The food was excellent, you could not ask for better service. Expensive but for a special occasion well worth the experience.
Be the first to ReplyBest beef Wellington and more !
Outstanding food experience! We went for the beef Wellington and we got the best beef Wellington and an amazing experience! From the welcome reception to the design of the rooms to the rich menu variety to that button “press for champagne” everything was amazing, the service, the food the music, the general ambiance! Eveything
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing dinner
We came with high expectations and left disappointed. The savory and sweet soufflés (starter and dessert) were tasty but the main courses were a total miss. The vareniki portion was TINY while the truffle & champagne humble pie looked like something you’d get in any old pub and tasted bland. Making matters worse, our server was totally inattentive and it was impossible to flag him down to order, get drinks, or pay. Will not be back.
Be the first to ReplyNot as good as their city spot
Love BBR however I can honestly say Soho isn’t as good as BBR City, the city is very refined and a lot more precise. The food was good but agin not on par with the city, not enough crème fraiche with the caviar, the soufflé was a bit dry and again not enough cheese sauce and had a overpowering citrus taste, the beef Wellington was perfect but again not enough Jus for two people everything else was good. Would highly recommend as they may just have had a bad night.
Be the first to ReplyPress for Champage!!
We sat there during dinner trying to think of another restaurant in our 40 years of dining that would equal Bob Bob and none would meet the mark. Not Daniel’s in NYC or that Michelin spot in Copenhagen…hmmm. Take every superlative you can think of and it will apply to Bob Bob’s. Flaming desserts and exclusive aperitif’s follow on beef Wellington and Stinking Bishop cheese soufflés as appetizers. Just go here and see for yourself. Reservations are a must. And yes they really do have that ‘Press for champagne’ button. Lol
Be the first to ReplyGood, but not great
We visited as a group of six as part of an informal dining club. The space is amazing, the food is good, filling and tasty, the 'press for champagne' button gimmicky. Service was OK - I don't mind in the least pouring my own wine, but if you're going to keep the bottle and insist that you pour it, I'd prefer you noticed my glass was empty before I do! Two of our number had a poor start to the evening being turned away 25 minutes before our booking time (they suggested having a pre dinner drink at the bar and were told the restaurant didn't have a bar - it does, it has two, so not sure what happened there). Hints of sharp practice with bread being offered and appearing on the bill (despite not being on the menu with a price), and a 15% service charge added automatically (which is high for London, though it is mentioned on the menu). Overall, a good night, but a little overpriced for what it was, I thought.
