Frustrating and disappointing.
Terrible service and attitude. Brought in some skewers from next door to compliment boiling point. Very rudely accosted for having outside food โ even though we ordered more than $100 in items. Made a case for an exception, was denied. So up and left. Boiling point is becoming corporate, inflexible and staff are rather rude. Iโll go elsewhere.

Great choices great flavors! Wondering staff. Only thing I would change bout this place was the hot pot itself was not deep enough for the amount of food itโs holding. Ingredients appeared fresh and savory. I had the seafood tofu hot pot while my husband went for the beef. Very tasty!

My honest rate for this restaurant is a 3.5 but I am not able to do so. Always very crowed with people waiting at the door. Simple, tasty and satisfying food. Price could be down for 10-15% If you've never be there yet, recommend you to give it a try but expecting some waiting time.
Be the first to ReplyBest place to fix the hotpot craving
I was in Boiling point as many times as I can when I visited Bellevue previously. This trip I was in Seattle and knew that there's one in Chinatown, decided to pop in too. It is definitely the best place to fix hotpot craving. I went twice and every time, managed to be in just before/after their peak meal hours. I was alone and I love the part that they do not put you on hold until a small table is avail. One of the visit, I occupied a 4 pax table. Be careful of meal time, the queue is always long.
Be the first to ReplyJust like the hot pot in Taiwan
My son was craving authentic Taiwanese food after being in the USA for over a week. We are living in Taiwan and were visiting the Seattle area. So, I took him to the International District of Seattle. We started looking around in Uwajimaya Supermarket. There were many choices. However, my son chose to try Boiling Point, because he read the sign in Mandarin that said it had traditional hot pot. We were not disappointed, and the price wasn't bad. He was happy enough for us to make our own restaurant review video for this place. This is a good choice for Taiwanese food when visiting downtown Seattle.

The place opens at 11am for lunch, we arrived before that time and there was already a long line waiting outside the restaurant. Waiting for the line was worth it. Their noodles taste so good and piping hot. Service was fast and the price is reasonable. If you want more soup they will refill it for free. During lunch time the meal comes with a free drink. Would love to come back again.
Be the first to ReplyAuthentic Taiwan Hotpot
I loved the Taiwan spicy hotpot, especially the spicy soup taste, which is really spicy, price is reasonable $19, and my family and I have a wonderful dinner. I miss the hotpot in Seattle and this place fulfill my desire.

What a fun place! Use the text feature on the kiosk when you arrive and the host will text you when your table is ready. Browse next door at Uwajimaya while you wait. Hot pot dishes have plenty of variety, there are add ons on the menu to round out your meal. Customize your amount of spice too. We found one pot for two people to be plenty. Creative beverage options too: the lemonade with basil or sweet milk with boba. Friendly, attentive service.
Be the first to ReplyFast service, delicious food
Very fast service. They serve unconventional hot pot in the sense that all of the meat and veggies are already in the boiling pot of soup. As a result, it's a bit crowded at first until you work your way through some of it. The service is fast and to the point. The food is great, and and I especially appreciate that you can control the level of spiciness (I chose the least spicy but still felt some of the heat).

The food was cheap and tasty. Hotpot includes a lot of stuff and you can also select which flavor you like. I chose Tomato Delight because it was sweet and sour which was my favorite. I waited in line for 20-30 minutes in the front of the door, I highly recommend that the restaurant should provide some chairs that would be better for the waiting customers.
