Rude MANAGER HAILEY at Bonefish
So we came in to celebrate a birthday, party of 3. Had wonderful waitress, who worked hard, but the manager is extremely rude and needs to learn the difference between a fillet and a ribeye. Our bill was over 200, certainly wasnโt worried about the price, but she rudely insisted that we were wrong. One of our parties is a beef farmer, we tried to help HAILEY, but HAILEY WAS RUDE, CRUDE AND ACTED EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. We will not go back. Cooperate will be hearing from me about HAILEY MONDAY. Go to another location, not HARBISON!!!!

Had a most enjoyable lunch there today with Lindsey as my server. She was attentive, efficient and pleasant. An unexpected bonus was having Mer serve my food. Usually a Server's assistant just puts down the food and leaves. Mer paused and asked me if there was anything else he could get for me. I was very impressed with this young man! I had the Bonefish salad with grilled salmon and it was absolutely delicious. To make it truly decadent, I requested a side of their delicious lemon butter to dip my salmon in, in addition to the citrus vinaigrette. Piรจce de rรฉsistance!
Be the first to ReplyReally excellent return visit!
My wife and I decided to return after having Bonefish lost off our radar post Covid. We decided to return and it was really nice. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was really good. The complementary bread with pesto and olive oil was really nice. We had a Bonefish salad with hearts of palm, pine nuts etc. and it was good. We both had the barramundi Oscar special and it was really good. The entree could have been a tad warmer, but was really excellent. A bottle of Chardonnay complemented our dinner well. This was a nice return visit and we will certainly return sooner than later.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Mussels
Last night my Bride and I had a real good meal that was less sodium than most, while being extremely delicious. June Best had the extremely tasty salmon cooked on a cedar plank with salt cut back. Naturally I loved it. I had their great salad with palm hearts, a few kalamati olives and lots of pumpkin seeds!!! One of my favorites. My main course was Mussels Josephine of which I havenโt had for several years. I conservatively dipped the mussels in the wine sauce and added an onion or tomato cooked in the sauce!!! Wham Bam was that good. I will be back! An excellent meal with the bonus of lower sodium than normal!!!

WOW!!! 2 Years ago I gave up on BF due to a bad cook. Tried them again last night and they have got their groove back. Mr. T, our waiter, was excellent in food guidance and service. Ask for him if you go to the Harbison location. Their salad is still great with palm hearts, kalamata olives and nice nuts/seeds. They are also one of the few restaurants to give you hot bread and have olive oil/spices to dip it in. Real tasty. We had a 2 for for one, meal special, with rainbow trout that had a great sauce on top. Our other entree was Lilyโs mahi mahi with goat cheese, spinach, artichoke hearts and a fantastic sauce. Both dishes were great but the mahi mahi was an award winner!!! The goat cheese had a great mild flavor to add to the melding of flavors from the fish, artichoke hearts and sauce. Double excellenteยกยก We saved the killer for last. A fantastic piece of key lime cake, not pie. It was out of this world. The icing was a perfect addition to the cake bringing in that key lime flavor!!! A Great Experience!!!

This was a typical chain type restaurant. We ordered great fish and appetizers that were served with a smile. The drinks were ok.
Be the first to ReplyGo for the food stay for the martinis
Everyone knows the bang bang shrimp is amazing, but we have also tried so many entrees that have all been delicious! The dip, and sushi both are favorites of ours for starters. Our meals of salmon, rainbow trout and shrimp have been flavorful, fresh and cooked perfectly. My favorite part of coming here are the perfect martinis! The signature martinis is particular, itโs hard to just have one! The tropic heat and pomegranate are my favorites!

We worked pretty late and decided to stop by here before heading to our hotel which was nearby. We were in need of a drink so we ordered the pineapple martini. So yummy. I ordered my second one with sugar on the brim. Even better.
Our dishes came out nice and hot and the food was good. I ordered the mahi-mahi and my hubby ordered the shrimp. The waitress was great. We will definitely return to this place if ever in the area again.
I do have to say that we had dinner here in late June and the service wasnt good. The waitress kept forgetting about us even though it wasnt busy and plenty of tables were availabe. We gave this place a second chance and it was so much better this time around.
Total lack of professionalism
Usually, Bonefish is a sure winner as far as chains go. Not this time. First the place was half full on a Friday night. We ordered and appetizers which was the famous bang bang shrimp. Came out quickly by a food runner. Cocktail brought out half way through the appetizer. I asked for glass of wine with entree which never came. Manager was clearing tables all night because the staff did not care to remove entree plates and empty glasses after use. Server ghosted us for what seemed like forever. I get that staff might be an issue during Covid but they had plenty of people running around this night. Plenty of other options on that side of town.

Very good service, always made sure we were alright. The food was great and they gave me just enough ketchup for my burger and fries.
Be the first to ReplyWorst Meal Ever at Bonefish
#Bonefish has gradually gone down over the last year or so. Tonight was the worst!!! I asked for medium, moist salmon not overcooked and I got the opposite. This was the driest overcooked salmon I have ever had. Never again. The potatoes with cheese had to be yesterdays as it was so dried up and hard and also the worst ever. They used to have excellent salmon and fantastic potatoes but now have cooks that donโt care and poor product.
Be the first to ReplyNot that great
Hostess and manager were very unprofessional.
Food tasted like a frozen dinner. Will definitely look for another seafood restaurant in the area.
Hopefully not the new normal!
Hopefully not the new normal! First visit back since March & Covid. Prior to today we were loyal every week visitors. Today, we were the first to arrive at 11:15am seated. Only the host wore a mask.
The food arrived 2 separate times/2 different people neither wore a mask for our protection. The food was luke warm. Cod-luke warm, mashed potatoes-luke warm. This has been the worst meal at Bonefish to date.
Hopefully they can get it together. There were lots of people running around in the kitchen-just NOT heating food.
While we were there 2 other couples arrived-one still had not received food as we were leaving and the other was returning their cold food.
Hubs and I decided we would not return to Bower Pwy Bonefish again. Just not worth the risk.
Frozen Dinner? Be warned what day of the week you eat here...
I've been coming to this restaurant for the last 10 years with enjoyable experiences.... tonight was an attempt to counter all the history... in a single night.
Got there for my birthday dinner around 7:30, well aware that the restaurant closes at 9pm.
Got seated, drinks served, bread served- all meeting the usual expectations....
Appetizers arrived, they were tasteful, but cool to the touch- bang bang shrimp and the wagyu potstickers... not a deal breaker.
My mother ordered the Salmon Caprese, which was properly cooked and up to temp- though I'd say "bed" of fondue since it was hidden under the fish... still it was tasty.
I ordered the Cioppino, which was a first. Dish came out and looked appetizing- however the temp of the dish ranged from lukewarm to flat out cold. I flagged the nearest waiter since mine was across the restaurant setting up tables. He was professional and apologetic about it. He promptly took the dish back to the kitchen. So far so good... even with the hiccup.
Several minutes later, what I presume to be the manager, came back with my dish.... not a new dish... the exact same dish. She proceeds to tell me the cooks threw it back in the pan and warmed it up. They make it in large batches and then freeze it.... so this one wasn't cooked long enough. That was the extent of the apology.....
Our waitress returned later to clear some plates, apparently completely unaware of the returned dish. She drops the bill on the table without a comment....
Having worked in service industry for the past 15 years... here's a few suggestions:
1. Serve food at proper temps- make sure your manager's are Service Safe qualified- from tonight's behaviour I highly question it....
2. Never give a dish back to a customer... make a new dish... even if that means you have to "thaw" out another batch..... Even writing that just ruins my impression of the restaurant...
3. If you're actually going to give it back anyway- offer a discount if unwilling to do #2. I really don't think this was the experience that should have paid a hundred bucks for.
I understand that your staff leaving promptly at 9pm is the priority on a Sunday night... and I will never come back to that time of the week. Lesson learned. Friday and Saturday experiences were typically superb.
4. Do not have your cooks catcall "Warmer? Oh, I'll make it warmer... repeatedly... and loud enough I could hear over his music.
5. That's right, I said his music, your kitchen staff were loud enough that there was no ambience at the table I was at.... and I could either choose to listen to the restaurant music or their radio station.... at least I had options.
Don't worry, I will send a copy to customer service email....
Using up a coupon
We are here trying to use up a coupon it seemed like it was some sort of franchise, chain. Some of the dishes were great so not so great. But it served itโs purpose and we got a good snack, with good service, and we didnโt leave hungry
Be the first to ReplyOur first visit was superb!
My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our anniversary in January. We came in for early dinner and were seated right away. Our waiter was very kind and helpful with the menu since this was our first time. My boyfriend ordered a "smoked" old fashioned and it was quite impressive! We also ordered the Bang Bang shrimp for an appetizer, it wasn't very impressive since it didn't have as much sauce as I would have liked but it certainly didn't dampen my rating. The boyfriend ordered a soup (possibly a crab bisque?) and the waiter was kind enough to let us know that they had recently changed the recipe and it was getting mix reviews. He enjoyed it and stated he would order again. They gave us some complimentary bread with an oil and herb dip that was very similar to Caraba's. My boyfriend and I shared the stuffed cod and it was divine (I'm not a huge fish person, but "when in Rome"). I also ordered a side of their brussel sprouts (possibly seasonal) and they were perfect! I think we also had some sort of mac + cheese which was great! And lastly, since it was our anniversary, we got dessert! They have seasonal flavors of Creme brule (my weakness) and we ordered it, it was a rich chocolate edition with whip cream and berries. A delightful end to a perfect dinner! Would strongly recommend!
