Great dining spot in old town Scottsdale
We stopped by here purely by chance. We were lucky to snag a table as it was hopping. HUGE list of bourbons. Steaks were fantastic and well prepared. We will definitely go back next time we are in Scottsdale. Wish they'd open a location here in the Coachella Valley!

If you are looking for an extensive bourbon list , this is the place to go. If , however, you are looking for an amazing steak then I recommend going elsewhere.

Fantastic! A variety of choices but the steaks are great! Pair it with a bourbon and you canโt go wrong. Casual dress fine
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing dining experience
Overpriced and not family friendly. Service expectations not met due to server attitude. Very, very noisy. Food good but not exceptional considering the price. Cocktail drinks were great but did not make-up for a disappointing dinner experience .

This is a beautiful restaurant in Old Town. Service was great and the bourbon selection extensive. The food and atmosphere are nice. Prepare for the prices. It was incredibly expensive for the amount of food a quality. It was a one time experience based upon the cost.
Be the first to ReplyAn awesome place!
Such a great place! My boyfriend and I are regulars. Awesome staff, outstanding service. Great selection of menu and drink items. Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyBlown away (prepare for the costs!)
WOW. The steak ! The spicy margaritas! Awesome but wowee it is pricey. Be sure to prepare yourself for the prices but it is an amazing experience, so attentive, so tasty and always so very very busy!
Be the first to ReplyTypical punitively expensive steakhouse.
Was in Phoenix for the NASCARโs champ race and my friend chose this place. The staff comes around and lets you choose a steak knife, each with a style handle. The food was very goodโฆoctopus, corn, steaks, asparagusโฆand then some. 2 apps, 2 steaks, 3 sides, 2 deserts, 1 cocktail and 2 soft drinks and we walked out spending almost $400. We had a great meal but Iโll never understand how these steakhouses can justify these prices. Sure there are some others that are expensive, but EVERY steakhouse is. Sorry for the rant.

This is the steak house to visit when travelling to Old Town in Scottsdale. In an area with expensive restaurants, at least this one delivers on superior food (and drinks) and service We snug up to the bar for happy hour, then stayed for dinner. Our server, Rachel, was exceptional. Service was attentive and fast. Our drinks, appetizers, steaks (bone-in ribeye) and sides were delicious and plentiful. Again, while not cheap, our meal and dining experience were worth every dollar. Lastly, don't forget to save room for dessert - Bourbon Butter Cake. Not what I would usually select, but it was 10/10. Thanks for the suggestion Rachel & Sarah. I will be back!
Be the first to ReplyBest steakhouse ever
Best steakhouse Iโve ever been to and Iโve been to a lot. The food was outstanding. It was pricey but wow what a meal. The service was great. They have this thing they do where they offer a selection of knives to chose from. It was a neat little twist.

Our waiter was put out and rude after we asked the price of the specials for cocktails and food. We ordered a bottle of wine for dinner. He removed the wine glasses from the table, and we reminded him we ordered wine with dinner. He stated he would return them when dinner was served. Our dinners arrived and he was no where to be found. Three quarters of the way through the meal, we were able to grab a bus boy to ask for our wine. It came as several in the party were almost done. The waiter apologized and stated it was on the house. We would have declined it at that point if he had not comped it. After the meal, he brought a dessert that we hadnโt ordered and again stated โon the house.โ When our bill came, he charged us for the wine. We asked him about it, and he claimed he never told us it was on the house. Our bill was $900 for four people. For this price, you would expect good service without an attitude. Will never go back!

The service from Jennifer and Ashton was EXCELLENT, and the food was outstanding. The Ceviche and Lamb Chops were FANTASTIC! The Filet and the Au gratin potatoes were also very yummy! They also offer a plethora of whiskeys and bourbons for the connoisseurs! This was our first time there and we will plan a return trip soon!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Place for a Business Dinner
Last night was our second time at Bourbon and Bones for a business dinner. Both visits were fantastic. Logan was our server both times and the client we met there was so impressed that he remembered her from our visit 6 months ago. His service was excellent and he made great wine selections for us. We all had steaks and they were fantastic. We tried the bone marrow butter, the garlic butter and hollandaise sauce. All were terrific. We started with a dozen oysters and the carpaccio, which everyone enjoyed. Our sides were Brussels sprouts and the scalloped potatoes.

The BEST steak house around. Their steaks are prime, dry aged and absolutely delicious! They have the largest Bourbon spirits list in the area, the Wine list superb. Everything from moderately priced to screaming eagle. We are definitely coming back. This is hands down must go to place. Hint; Make your reservations in advanceโฆotherwise if its busy, you may not be getting in. On the corner adjacent to the restaurant is their Bourbon & Bones Cocktail lounge. Highly Recommend Both
Be the first to ReplyJust OK, not worth the huge price tag
First let me say came for the steak & that was good. Side of sautรฉed spinach was horrible . Have to assume the cover fell off & they dumped an extraordinary amount of salt . Inedible, my fault should have sent it back. Also wife ordered a cappuccino received just foam, again should have sent back. At this price point ($280 a couple) everything SHOULD BE PERFECT. Once again, my fault for not complaining was with 2 other couples & didn't want to make a scene. Waiter should have asked how was everything....he didn't care.
Be the first to ReplyInhospitable to out of town would-be patrons
We came into Scottsdale from out of town to attend a football game. After the game we made reservations for 4 people. Three of us were wearing football jerseys. When we entered we were told that we could not eat there if we were wearing jerseys. There were many people there wearing t-shirts, football t-shirts, shorts, denim, etc. We left and will never return.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, great new cocktail bar next door.
We try and visit a few times a year when we travel from the Midwest. We like sitting on the bar side on hightops overlooking Scottsdale Road. They have a great wine and cocktail selection. We had their shrimp cocktail appetizers and it was excellent. We both had steak and they were good. Mine wasn't the best quality I have had there....bone in filet. The service was outstanding and certainly worth a visit. I would say Ocean 44 is a better place for higher end costs and service. We also tried their new cocktail bar and that was fabulous. Good small plates, bacon, and wonderful bar service. I believe our bartender was Chantelle but not sure.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food - well worth the wait!
My dad in AZ has been eating here since just before COVID. After hearing about his many wonderful experiences, I finally got to visit this month and it was well worth the wait. The staff were very friendly and helpful in making decisions. I had a purple reign and then a B&B g&t, and my dad had two Imperial Old Fashioned. For starters he had the French onion soup while I had the oysters. For mains we both had filet mignon petite, though he had his Oscar style and i ordered peppercorn sauce. Sides were country mashed potato and Brussels sprouts. For dessert we took home Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake and bourbon butter cake. It was all delicious, cooked well and packed with flavour. Would love to return again!
Be the first to ReplyYes you should eat here
Great dinner with fabulous service for my wife and I. We are from Texas and this was our first trip here. The filet and scalloped potatoes were great. Highly recommend this place. Katya was an amazing server, ask for her. Will definitely eat here again.
Be the first to ReplyThis place still totally rocks.
Kudos to the host and the bartender (Jessica) at Bourbon and Bones for a lovely dinner at the bar. The host helped me find an empty spot at the bar (thank you!!) and Jessica was awesome at the bar. Love the surroundings and the atmosphere. Iceberg wedge salad is the best ever IMHO. I wouldn't recommend the Fried Pesto Shrimp--tasty but very small shrimp. And who can resist bacon?!? It is their bar snack and candied bacon is in the wedge salad. Can't go wrong! Can't wait to go back.
Be the first to ReplyBusy place - Very nice but I won't return
The food, quality, and ambience were very good. For these, I start from a position of giving this restaurant five stars. However, I'd rather go to other restaurants for the $350 we spent on an anniversary dinner. This place was packed after 7:30PM on a Sunday which goes to show this place is quite popular. My wife and I were given a narrow table and that required careful moving of placing and moving things around. Our waitress even spilled a bit of my drink trying to find a spot among the plates, utensils, menus, basket, etc. Most tables in the restaurant are larger, so good for everyone else. Our waitress did say sorry that we had such a cramped table and closed in on by other tables and people. I couldn't have a good conversation with my wife during our dinner. It was packed and noisy. Many people like that. Neighboring tables felt a bit too close. The weirdest part for me was that the staff stands the entire time at the ledge that was behind my wife and our row of tables. I like to look around but I found myself often avoiding making awkward eye contact with the staff facing me right behind my wife. They were doing their jobs and were supposed to be there, but it was awkward for me. I'll look to other restaurants for our special occasions and $350 meals. Could easily spend more than that at this restaurant b/c they do have some very special drinks and alcohols.
Be the first to ReplyWorth the money! Great steak, great whiskey, appetizers were on point, good wine list. Killer dessert. Get the pound cake.
One of the top 5 meals I've ever had. I started with two single malts. We had shrimp and oysters as an appetizer
The shrimp were like small lobsters. Then a filet oscar (lump crab meat asparagus and bernaise) flambe style table side with a bourbon soaked pound cake for dessert.
Amazing
By far one of the best steak restaurants in Phoenix. Great food, endless selection of Bourbons. Awesome staff!!!!

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Bourbon & Bones and it has everything to do with the bartender Tori! Tori was welcoming-- suggesting multiple bourbons and martinis for us. She remembered our names and even celebrated our engagement! In a time where customer service is often lacking, Tori blew us away. What a great employee to have! We absolutely will be back!
Be the first to ReplyBest in Scottsdale and probably America!
We absolutely love Bourbon and Bones. We brought my parents in during the holidays and it was the favorite dinner while they were in town. Our server was Cara and she was lovely. She gave us a brief but complete overview of the menu and gave us the perfect amount of time to explore the menus. I canโt say enough about how amazing the service was. The quality of the food was outstanding. Each steak was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the flavored salts that were provided along the steaks as well!we always choose Bourbon and Bones for every special occasion. We wouldnโt want to go anywhere elseโฆ
