Very nice and quiet place to have dinner.
We were a group of 17 and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We went with the prefix menu # 2 and it was perfect, a good amount of food. We ended the night with various dessert options and coffee. I have to say the cheesecake was my favorite it was just amazing. The servers were very attentive and on top of everything. We will definitely consider this place again for future events.

While the food was well worth it and the quality was on par, the service was absolutely horrible. We had an early reservation and there are no excuses for being too busy, the series of events that we experienced will keep us from returning anytime soon. Between the four people on the floor were suppose to be helpful and serve us, they did anything but the opposite. It's time to have an experienced, trained, and courteous wait staff.

Smells like a gas station restroom with a lot of artificial smells. Music was very loud ( Andrea Bocelli)Food was mediocre, a lot of pepper on everything and service was poor. Busser kept refilling water glasses that were already filled to the brim but didn't remove dirty plates. We waited 30 minutes for appetizers. Steak was dry, mussels small and weird. Nothing stands out here. Close this place and start over. Cannot recommend.

Loved ! Dined last night for the First time ! Our visit was superb! Dinner was delicious from appetizer to dessert! I had the shrimp and scallop entree! What an amazing dish! The mix of flavors was so delightful! My poached pear salad was delicious aEven my Banana Foster was terrific! Our guest equally enjoyed their meals ! Hats off to the chef! An additional surprise was a brilliantly talented singer. Her voice was added delight to our evening out!!!
Be the first to ReplyEverything was delicious, served hot and fast service.
We got the lunch three course special. I'm still thinking back to my meal. Loved it all!

We were looking for a location 1/2 way between CT and NJ and settled on Nyack. We visited on a Sunday late afternoon. There was only one other table occupied besides us. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance perfect, the waiter very attentive without being intrusive. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend as well as return.
Be the first to ReplyBeen here twice recently.
Had fish both times. Halibut and red snapper. My friends had grouper and shrimp risotto. The fish is really excellent. Large and thick pieces of fish, and expertly cooked. Could do with a little more imagination on the accompanyments - most just come with rice and steamed veg. Overall I'd recommend this place - hard to find fish this good outside NYC.Couple of grumbles (which is why I gave 4* and not 5*)1. At peak hours drinks take ages to come out - on an early Saturday evening we were waiting 20 mins at least! 2. We were a table for 4. Even though there is plenty of room around the tables, the waiters bring the food to one end of the table and reach right across the table to serve the plates to the guests at the far end of the table - or expect the guests to hand the plates down the tablle themselves. Similarly when clearing the plates, the waiters reach right across the table, or expect the guests to pass the dirty plates down the table. The waiters should be trained to serve and clear the plates from behind each guest individually. Also they need to remember who ordered what. I don't mind badly trained waiters in a diner, but it's a shame when it happens in a good restaurant - and so easy to fix!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent customer service.
The owner is so friendly and staff remember your name. Food is delicious. Atmosphere is relaxing casual yet elegant.
Be the first to ReplyComing from an Italian to the owner who is not, this is not
Coming from an Italian to the owner who is not, this is not Italian food. Â Pork chop dry and overcooked, avocados in salad had rot marks, $42 veal chop was raw and the in-house pasta was old and dried out. Â Over $131 of a bill and when we demanded to speak with the manager, the owner / chef came over and did not want to do anything to make this right. Â In fact, he commented and disagreed with my feedback on 4 of the items we ordered and abruptly left ourselves at the table; so much for the customer being right. Â I guess being short staffed in the kitchen was more important than our dining experience, which was ruined not only by his re heated old food, but his horrible attitude toward a customer. Â Never have I wrote a review like this before, but after I'm told a $42 pork chop that was raw at the bone, should be cooked that way, I couldn't not do the right thing to warn others. Â I could only thank this place for fulfilling my request not to pay for my son's old pasta which saved me $9. Â On that, I was told he couldn't have fettuccine because it is a dry pasta. Â Really?!? Â Maybe a culinary term I'm not familiar with. Â Spend your money elsewhere and to the kind waiter, I hope the owner tipped you. Â A customer should never be treated like this. Â Very disappointed with the way this establishment handled the fact that their food suffered from what was obviously lack of quality and staffing!

Convenience, excellence, a bit of a limited menu, but what they do, they do well. Â Love the hand made pasta and the always fresh seafood! Also the duck!
Be the first to ReplyThe best thing about the Hudson Valley restaurant week is
The best thing about the Hudson Valley restaurant week is the luxury of trying different restaurants and experimenting with foods that you may not normally eat. So, this past week we wanted to find a place that seemed appropriate for date night and delivered on the food. After checking out other reviews on yelp this place seemed to hit the nail on the head.I was able to make a reservation day of, but only because someone else had canceled so they were able to squeeze us in for 8 PM. I wasn't sure if the hubs was going to take advantage of restaurant week as well but I was interested in the menu. Either way regular menu has PLENTY to offer. Super cute place from the outside... appeared very intimate and the inside lived up. Crisp white table cloths, not too crazy decor. Comfortable and appropriate dinner lighting. We scored a table for two at the front close to the bar and entrance. I was a little hesitant because it was a freezing cold night and I wasn't looking forward to the door opening and closing blowing cold air on us. Thankfully there was really no traffic in or out and when the door did open we didn't feel anything. We started with some crispy rolls while planning out our dinner. Hubby ended up doing the restaurant week and started with muscles followed by the seafood pasta and strawberries and cream for dessert. I ordered Gorgonzola and crispy pancetta ravioli followed by Bronzino and mascarpone cheesecake for dessert. We added on a fried calamari appetizer. Well let's put it this way the fried calamari appetizer was awful. Would never ever order it here again. However everything else was amazing. I wanted to drink the creamy soupy tomato veg broth from the mussels directly out of the bowl, but way too embarrassing to do in public. My three giant raviolis delicious!! The seafood pasta was nice and spicy and everything was cooked well. Not overdone seafood which can happen very easily. Bronzino with the tang of the capers, lentils folded into rice was light and deep all at the same time. I really couldn't finish any dessert after our mains so wasplanning on them taking home. Somehow after they arrived we managed to squeeze it all in. They were too pretty to not be eaten. I definitely would recommend the cheesecake. The strawberries and cream were a little small but still good. Our server was on top of everything and he seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. Even if he didn't, he definitely faked it but his demeanor helped add to our great evening. I will definitely come here again for a date night or even a night out with friends and explore the menu. Especially their homemade pastas.

I felt like I was transported to Amalfi Italy, outdoor dining on a warm summer night. Â This was my first visit and will absolutely return. The service (Thank you Patrick!) was exceptional. Â The mussels with saffron sauce was outstanding. Â The Flounder Filet was cooked perfectly with the dill orange sauce a delight. Â The poached pear with raspberry sorbet dessert sent me to the moon. Â Everything was incredibly fresh and light. Â Wonderful.

The food was good but my bad review is based on the fact that they would not accept a gift certificate I was given Christmas of 2019. Given the pandemic, they should have accepted the gift certificate because it's the RIGHT THING TO DO! The guy I spoke to claimed that they "didn't close" so basically he was telling me I should have used it.. but I'm from Westchester not Rockland. I couldn't have even ordered take out! So disappointing.. in my opinion that's not what a good business man/woman does therefore I will not be back here. They lost my business and my sister-in-laws; she was the one who got me the GC!
Be the first to ReplyWonderful underrated spot in Nyack.
I've come here every few weeks for the last few months and have not tasted anything short of wonderful. The $30 lunch special is beyond worthwhile as every dish is exquisite. Service is also notably attentive and gracious, and the drinks are good as well. The background music is mostly opera and classical, which may be a turnoff to some, but is a bonus for me. Small bar but the staff and space otherwise make it one hundred percent worthwhile. Will be returning many more times!
Be the first to ReplyWe had a great meal at the very nice bistro tonight.
Food, service and decor were fantastic.  We wandered in just between lunch and dinner at about 4:15PM and the barman told us to either stay for a drink or explained where some of the local highlights were until the dining room opened at 5PM.  When we returned we were greeted by our extremely pleasant and professional masked waitress, Jennifer.  Incidentally this place was very Covid19 compliant.  The prices were very fair,  We all opted  for the $35 price fix meal.  The 3 course meal had delicious full sized portions and terrific choices, not the cheap items.  Appetizer included choice of mussels, pumpkin ravioli with pancetta, 2 soups and a few others. The entree  offered, lamb shank with great risotto, flat iron steak, bronzino, seafood pasta and other items,  for dessert pumpkin pie, cheese cake, chocolate cake, all very delicious and beautifully decorated.  I guess you figured by now we really liked this place.  All aspects are legitimately 5 star.  Try this place you'll love it.  I think they also have a lunch and brunch menu I am sure they must be good too.  Enjoy
Be the first to ReplyThis was a decent meal.
Seemed fresh and healthy and the price for what you got was decent. Â No issues whatsoever and enjoyed everything. Â Definitely will be coming back

Be the first to ReplyAs a last minute decision to take my beautiful mother out
As a last minute decision to take my beautiful mother out for a delicious evenings dinner, I found Broadway Bistro online. The reviews it already had, and picture to accompany the tasteful menu, our indecisiveness came to an end. Reservation was set by calling in to also confirm indoor dining. Upon arrival, we were seated at a beautiful table and greeted within the first 5 minutes by our server. Wine was ordered, and appetizers sent to the kitchen. Between waiting for the first course, the lovely server (and other servers who we weren't seated with) continuously checked on our well being, and refilled our glasses. The attentiveness, and laxed  environment set by all staff set a great ambiance setting. Entrées were served once we were completely finished with our appetizers and casual conversation. Overall a wonderful, AND DELICIOUS experience. Kudos and thank you for a wonderful evening!
