This is my 3rd visit to butchery and wine and the meal
This is my 3rd visit to butchery and wine and the meal remains perfect. It remains one of the best steaks I have ever eaten! Perfectly seasoned with a great crust and the perfect temperature. The peppercorn sauce and garlic makes every bite phenomenal and asking for more. Regardless of how busy they are, the staff is very attentive and the level of engagement doesn't interrupt any discussions you are having. The setting displays the various wine racks and great mood lighting and music. I highly recommend if you have a chance to visit Warsaw, you come have a meal at Butchery and wine. You will not be disappointed and you may have the best steak of your life!

They have two separate buildings across from each other with one better for groups and brunch, but I like to just sit at the bar and order their burger.

I've been here twice now and I am serious when I say the appetizers are incredible. There was a much larger selection this last time I visited. The first time I came I had scallops with a pea sauce and it was so good.. so this time I stuck with scallops but this time it was served with grilled pears and blood sausage. I was not a huge fan of the blood sausage but it was complemented well with the pears. Overall I loved this dish! For my dinner I had the NY Steak aged for 45 days I believe? It was very good. Added the Chimichurri dipping sauce and fries for my side. Fries may sound very weird to get at a Michelin star restaurant but I promise you they are the best fries I've ever had. Can't wait to come back here.

Had a great meal at Butchery & Wine in July when my best friend and I were in Warsaw. While it wasn't a unique dining experience like we had at some other Michelin star spots, it was a very solid meal.We ended up eating outside, and we ordered a bit differently than we usually do. We wanted to try more items, so we split a rib eye as well as a mixed salad, the foie gras appetizer, and the steak tartare. The staff was nice enough to plate the rib eye halves separately for us, which was unexpected. The steak tartare was the standout for me, both with presentation and taste. Check the pics because words won't do it justice.

Really glad I selected this spot as its a hip gastro steakhouse that would fit into any trendy neighborhood. Almost everything we had was not only tasty, incredibly fresh but also a great value.Parfait foie gras was great and literally the size of a big scoop of ice cream.Japanese waygu was a decent value but probably the low point.French fries were amazing. Somehow tasted like the greasy aftertaste of a Mcdonalds fry (in a good way) with a crunch and pure potato that was simply one of the best fries I've had outside of Belgium.Fresh beefsteak tomatoes were another level.I would for sure come back here.

Staff is friendly and professional. Decor is great for both romantic and larger parties. We went several times, with friends and alone and always very much enjoyed the experience. The choice of wines and vodkas is perfectly suited to the dishes. Overall, a very good restaurant.

Pros: steaks seasoned perfectly, extensive wine listCons: -The first thing you need to be aware is that this is a higher-end restaurant. It was mentioned in the Michelin guide in 2018 for quality and service, and the menu prices reflect these higher standards. If you're looking for a good steak (Polish or otherwise in origin, I saw American and Canadian) served with a proper sauce and wine, this is your place. Their madeira sauce is sublime, definitely worth ordering. We had a New York strip and a ribeye, both Polish, accompanied with two glasses of wine. The check run us shy of 300 ZŁ, so beware. This is not your American Outback or Longhorn. Of course, you'll be able to tell in the quality of the meat, seasoning and cooking that the flavor of the beef really is at a different level.I'm taking a star off because one of the steaks was ordered medium well and it seemed more medium or even a tad medium rare. We decided not to send it back.

Delicious food, great service - and a sunny afternoon outlook. What's not to like?As a solo traveller I sat at the bar and ordered a Butchers Negroni. Bitter and deep, a perfect start to the meaty fest I was planning. Great looking menu to work from, with prices that genuinely surprised me (even more so when the food arrived). Great value with no compromise in quality. The steak tartare was appetiser size and had all the marks of a good tartare: cut meat, zesty seasonings and a pert little quail's egg yolk perched on top. A glass of house red got me moving into the follow up: the roasted bone marrow. Generous portions of bone, full of deliciously rich marrow with a tart parsley salad on the side. Easily shared, this dish plus the tartare was more than enough for me. If I ever return to Warsaw I'll be sure to visit this place again.

Staff professional. However : limited wine list, and especially overpriced.

I recently went to Warsaw on a business trip and had the pleasure of having a nice dinner at the Butchery & Wine. I ordered Foie Gras parfait with red onion marmalade, steak, Poland dry aged for 28 days, and cream brûlée for dessert. The Foie Gras was too rich to my liking this I didn't finish it. The steak was perfect, exactly to the medium well I ordered. The cream brûlée was wonderful too. I gave this restaurant 5 star because of the food, its atmosphere and the services they provided. The setting was very enjoyable and the service was excellent.
Be the first to ReplyStill one of my favorite places in Warsaw.
Service is always impeccable and friendly.Chateaubriand is a MUST HAVE. For two people I would start at 600g+ Foie Gras, Grilled octopus and Beef Tartare are great selections for starters. Classic side such as sauteed spinach, cauliflower, and pureed potatoes are always good.Wine selection is amazing and the last time I came I ordered the Syrah, from Rock Garden, Charles Smith, Walla Walla Valley 2012. It was 640.00 zlty, which we checked and it was a little over priced but good, so I'm not going to complain. Will return time and time again. Love this place
