🤢 2/5 - Be Warned - Champagne Friday menu advertised on website is a Hoax

First - let me state that I have wanted to experience the incredibly-sounding Champagne Friday evening at Caviar Russe for some time now - this menu, including a large selection of drink specials, other than the Champagne advertised "on special", AND food options called "Power Bites" sounded amazing. On the evening of our visit - I was treating a friend to a congratulatory bottle of what was advertised as Cristal 2009. We were gawking over the menu listed still on the Four Seasons page for Caviar Russe - called Champagne Fridays. Upon arrival, we were greeted and sat at the bar area. Not only was the champagne different (Krug v. Cristal - although this was absolutely acceptable), the only food option was a dozen oysters for $18.00. When we asked somewhat confused about the menu we were provided, we were told "oh that has changed - we no longer do power bites ... and oh yes, we do have some of the drink specials the website states but they are not listed on this menu" ... Well, thank you for the false advertising that enticed us to go out of our way to experience the Four Seasons and Caviar Russe on this Friday. I am not a fan of a "negative" review and I would likely have just let it go but for the fact that an odd "worker" dressed somewhat casually in black chirped up from far down the bar as if to quiet the questions we had. I found this to be rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional and unwarranted. If our server(s) did not have the answers, get up and do your job and treat guests spending $150+ on a bottle of champagne to the level of respect any guest should deserve from an establishment in a top-notch hotel. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Caviar Russe and I hope others are now informed that it isn't what it is.
