They offered a 4-course menu for $105/person. The flavor was great, but service and portion sizes left much to be imagined. My first course was oysters, which came out faster than I had expected and tasted great. My next course, scallops, took over 20min to arrive. When I placed the order, I notified the server that I had a nut allergy and he said he would inform the chef. When the scallops were brought over, a separate wait staff wasn't sure if the scallops had hazelnuts and said he would check with the chef. However, that particular individual never returned (granted I should've taken the onus on this, but I trusted my server). I had to wait another 20min for my duck breast. It was at this point my server informed me that the kitchen was backed up due to the holiday. Fair point. After the duck breast, I had to wait another 20min for the cheesecake, which was really delightful and generous.I understand it's a holiday, but if that's the case, I wouldn't inform diners halfway through service about the kitchen being backed up and at least offer more bread or a complimentary drink. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of the music and cheesecake. This was not worth $105/person.
