..basically they are trying too hard to be different. Cocktails were even more "interesting". The best part of meal was my olive oil vodka martini! We got the crab cake pancake: it was a burnt pancake. I did not taste any crab. We had the fennel salad and it was mostly red onion with a creamy goat dressing. Menu described it with goat ricotta salada, which I thought was a dry cheese, and was expecting a shaved topper. We got 2 pizzas, the dough/crust was good but the toppings meh- needed salt. We got the stuffed trout- that was good, but had too mush sweetness with the overdose of raisins, and the last entree was the polenta and meatballs. It was ok, the meatballs were rubbery. We ended meal with 3 desserts- can't remember 2 of them, they were too rich and not memorable. The cookies holiday cookie plate was ok, none stood out, except the powdered sugar ones had a nice accent of anise seeds. It was expensive, it was cold-brick building with concrete floors with a fake fireplace (we were seated upstairs.) It was busy and they've been in business for awhile, so maybe just an off night??
