Good food
I got the passion fruit margarita and the shrimp tacos dinner and they were great. I also loved the rice and the black beans that came with it. The chips and salsa were decent.

Love, love, love this place! We've never had a bad meal here. Everything we've ordered was great. They even have an outdoor seating area. Every other Monday night they have a Mariachi band. Wonderful!

The chips and salsa were the best part. Chips were not too salty and the salsa had excellent flavor. We started with the Pepinos which were hugely disappointing. They basically peeled two cucumbers and stacked them with jicama on hop. I could barely taste the lime juice and the seasoning was minimal. Would have been better as a chopped salad with the addition of pumpkin seeds and more lime juice and seasoning. For a main entree I had the veggie burrito. I should have read the description more closely but it was literally some grilled veggies in a wrap. The sauce was very good. But it should have some black beans or grilled tofu for some protein as one of the 2 vegetarian options. It was just meh and would have been happier at Chipolte with Sofritas salad bowl for a fraction of the price. Ambiance and service was nice though.

Food quite a bit above average, good selection of tequilas and mezcals, service excellent (Daniella was amazing). Would come back in a heartbeat!

I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, but the service in this pricey restaurant was poor. The small place was not busy when we sat down. I was trying to ask the waiter if they could customize an entree with cheese since I do not eat meat, fish, or chicken. I first asked about leaving out the pork from one entree and the waiter seemed confused so I switched to an all-vegetable choice. He writes down both entrees and neglects to take my companion's request for the cheese dip. He also never brought my seltzer with lime. I am sure he was annoyed that we were not ordering alcoholic beverages since they bill themselves as a tequila bar! The 3 enchiladas were mostly pepper and accompanied by a tiny tortilla cup filled with pureed black beans. The small amount of rice was tasty but the enchilada had a green sauce and I had initially expressed interest in a red sauce. My companion liked her huge burrito and took home an ample half dinner the next night. It's across from the movie theater, but I will not return and will frequent any of the many other eateries in Arsenal Yards.

I had the steak sopas and it was one of the blandest meals I have had in decades. Barely any steak in them as well. If you are looking for tasty Mexican food this is sadly not the place to go.

I really enjoyed my meal. It was a shrimp burrito with avocado on top. I took two thirds of it home. To me it was excellent. We sat outside on the shady side. Outside on side just overlooks parking lot. Front people view. My gf had the short ribs. 4 starts because she said a little dry. I would come back

On our third night we decided to go with Mexican cuisine. It was such a great place we the next night as well. Split a burrito both times (shrimp then brisket) and split a garden salad also. Margaritas of course. Very best Mexican I have had (and at age 66 you know that is a lot of times).

Excellent experience in this lively, fun environment. Great service, creative menu, wonderfully flavorful food. Drinks were generous, and you actually received a full glass if sangria. Delicious salsa. It was a little loud as the night wore on, but we still had a great time.

Iโve been multiple times since they opened because I love this place. The staff is top notch with genuine hospitality, food is great, and Edwardo makes the best cocktails anywhere at Arsenal. The staff speaks very highly of the owners and managers too, so Iโm happy to support their new endeavor. There was a wait the first time but thereโs plenty to do at Arsenal and it was well worth the wait.
