Just came from Barcelona and went to a show so wanted to have same wonderful experience as that one but with dinner. Loved the show ! Incredible talent! However dinner not so great. People were leaving courses untouched. Salmon was good. Cod purée too salty..
Be the first to ReplyI tried their 70 euro tasting menu.

This was the first place we ate at when we came to Madrid! The show itself was amazing but the food the food stole the show!!!!!!! Flavor so much flavor! I can't tell you what I ate because idk it's a set menu 4 courses I believe and you choose what you want . Everything is good and comes out fast . Seating is tightttttt but you get use to it Service was okay the waiter kind of rushed us through the meal I think he wanted us to be at a certain course by the time the show started. It was my husband birthday and they bought out a an extra dessert which was so nice.

My husband and I and another couple had dinner and saw this show the last night we were visiting Madrid. This is an amazingly beautiful and moving show!! The dinner was excellent, too. We all thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and show and highly recommend it!! It was the perfect end to our vacation.

Be the first to ReplyIf you ever visit Spain, going to a flamenco show is a must.
What drew my family to this restaurant however, was also the promise of a michelin star set menu. Apparently a lot of people just come for the show, not knowing they're also eating some of the best food mardrid has to offer! We got the 5 course tasting menu, and it didn't disappoint. The avocado gazpacho they started off with was equally ambitious and tasty, as gazpacho is usually a tomato base. My favorite was the sea bass, since it was soft and buttery, and pretty much melted in your mouth. The waiter also was super nice and kept the wine flowing the whole meal! He even opened a second bottle for us on the house. As for the flamenco show itself, it was mesmerizing. The dancers and singers were passionate and filled the venue with a great energy. I will say, this show is about half singing and half dancing, for those that are looking for a dancing only flamenco show. Just a heads up, every day they hold 2 flamenco shows: one at 7:30PM, and another around 10PM. We made a reservation for 6:30PM, which gave us just enough time to finish up our main courses, and enjoy our dessert while the flamenco show started. So if you're someone who can't really multitask like me, you might want to keep your reservation timing in mind!

If I could recommend doing one thing in Madrid, it would be this. From start to finish, this was an incredible and lovely experience. The service is fantastic, the servers were friendly and efficient especially considering the number of courses & people. The food was delicious, the wild seabass and the pigeon dishes were especially memorable. The show was undoubtedly the best part. The passion and the emotion of the performers made it such a moving, unique experience. This is one of my favorite places I've ever dined. I would highly recommend planning on visiting while you're in Madrid!!
Be the first to ReplyThe BEST Tablao Flamenco show PERIOD.
Every year we go to Madrid we never miss dining at Corral De La Moreria. You feel and hear every move and breath taking expressions and the food is Michelin Star rated. A must place to go and feel the real passion of Tablao Flamenco dancing when in Madrid.

Out of Country Review - SpainWent to Restaurante Corral De La Moreria on Sunday night. The show makes this a can't miss experience, even though a few elements could be improved. The food is not one of those elements and will impress.Quality: Easy to get distracted from the food because of the show, but the tasting menu was very solid. They have a few different menu options, we went with the most comprehensive. I was not crazy about the opener Tomato And Watermelon Soup, but the Scallop Carpaccio and Wild Sea Bass were excellent. The Lamb was good, but the Pigeon was the stronger dish. Skip the Green Apple Souffle for dessert and go with the Caramelised French Toast, the two are not on the same level.Quantity: Fair portions for the tasting menu.Value: Decent prices considering the live entertainment.Ambiance: Restaurante Corral De La Moreria is a flamenco show and dinner restaurant. The show is incredible, and even from a seat with an obstructed view it is hard not to be in awe. They could however arrange the room better as well as improve the chairs and tables to avoid many service issues.Crowd: They pack too many guests into this tiny space.Service: Coordinated chaos.

My fiancé and I, along with close friends in Madrid, got a chance to see a show and get dinner at this Michelin star restaurant. The food was just the beginning. We had a great time learning about the traditional culture in Spain in terms of flamenco dancing. It was amazing. The food was absolutely divine. Best dish I had in Spain. Highly recommend.

Be the first to ReplyIt was an honor to have eaten here.
I very much enjoyed watching flamenco which savoring some of chef David Garcia's famous dishes. I wasn't that hungry so the waiter recommended the Menu Solea. The starting dish which was the cheesecake which was slightly smoked with a freshness of ocean added to it. For the main I got the Iberian pork shoulder and WOW so tender. It was delicious and I would've eaten another plate. It came with a mushroom ravioli which was also very well made and complimented the pork perfectly. I was mostly impressed by the fact that they mass produce this plate during the show all at one, and they somehow manage to keep it consistently amazing. I was in a table of 12 and almost everyone got the pork and they all were blown away at its taste. If your craving some really really impressive food and a very talented production of flamenco- dance and music- I recommend checking this place out

A top notch dinner and a showVisiting from the US, we are only in Madrid for a few days. One thing we really wanted to see was a Flamenco dance. Our hotel got us reservations for dinner and a show for this evening. There was some issue with our reservation, never did understand what it was, but the restaurant accepted our prepaid voucher and would sort it out with the hotel. That was very nice, and for our entire time the place impressed me with their high level of professionalism. Because we were doing a fixed price meal we had a limited number of items to choose from, two for appetizers and two for our entree, the lessor expensive items from their full menu. That was ok with me, although other creative sounding dishes on the full menu may have highlighted even more the reason this restaurant has a Michelin star. I decided on Scalibada Coca, and their Salmon. The Scalibada Coca was small but very good, but what is small with a cuisine that includes tapas. The salmon was not small at all. Oily and very flavorful, and came with a spread it made it even better. Our particular meal also came with quite a bit of wine and a chocolate dessert that was outstanding. As for the show, I will leave that to others to review, I try to stick with the dining side of Yelp.

First night in Spain, decided to go big! We received this recommendation from a Yelp community manager named Andi. A strong recommendation from a community manager carries weight! So tonight was nice and cool. So we decided to walk. It was a beautiful walk followed shortly thereafter by heavy rain. We were happy that we were warmly welcomed by the staff and the comfortable repair temperature inside. The ropa vieja with a gooey egg was the best ropa vieja I've ever had. They need to start serving it this way in Miami! The veal was good. It was rich and tasted better with each bite. The rack of lamb was delicious and rich. The rioja that was included was very tasty. It was surprisingly good and I'm glad I didn't upgrade. The Chocolate Five Ways was tasty, a nice couple of bites. The bread pudding was larger and delicious, it was my favorite dessert. Our waiter was attentive and did a great job. The flamenco show was fantastic and worth the money. I will recommends this place to my friends.

DO NOT bother coming here- make sure you find a place where you can actually watch the show.My boyfriend and I purchased a three course meal with the flamenco show, paying a little over $100 USD each. We chose this restaurant because it was our first time in Spain and we wanted to experience a flamenco show, and it was a Michelin star restaurant so we were very excited to be able to experience Spanish culture while also enjoying fine Spanish dining. We got neither (I think, my boyfriend feels less harshly). As you can see in the picture I took before the show started, I was very excited, but was a little thrown off by the view we got. We were assigned this seat with obstructed views for both my boyfriend and I where I was only able to see the right half of the stage, and my boyfriend was only able to see the left. Before the show started, I kept telling my boyfriend it would be fine, as they must have considered that some views were obstructed and made sure everyone would be able to see the entire show from each seat. I was very wrong. The two tables next to us closer to the pillars both only had one occupant, because if someone else sat at the table, they would not have been able to see anything. Both my boyfriend and I missed large chunks of the show because we could not see the dancer due to the pillars, or her feet (which I feel like was a big part of flamenco) due to other guests' heads. At certain times, the dancer was completely obstructed by the pillars. We paid the same as others who had a perfectly clear view for this obstructed view (without knowing we would get an obstructed view), and I was extremely disappointed. The food itself was alright and probably was worth what we paid for, but the service was pretty terrible. Each meal included half a bottle of wine, which my boyfriend received in full, but I only received a quarter glass of wine poured at the beginning of the meal. It did not seem like this was due to lack of ability to communicate, just lack of caring. I watched other tables get wine throughout the night while no one even offered to pour more for me. Being offered more wine (that, again, we had already paid for) is something I would expect even from a restaurant that isn't Michelin star status. I felt that the host was a bit impatient with us even though we were clearly tourists (which this place seemed to market towards) and couldn't speak a lot of Spanish, and I felt generally unwelcome.Just a heads up for other non-Spanish speaking folks that might want to come (first, don't), the wait staff speaks a little English but the entire show is in Spanish so we were pretty lost. There are plenty of other flamenco shows in Madrid that don't have an obstructed view for everyone in the audience. It felt like they were trying to cram as many tables as they could into this tiny restaurant just to turn more tables, and the whole thing felt inauthentic. Please don't waste your time coming here and go to literally any other flamenco show or Michelin restaurant in Madrid.
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I came here for the flamenco dancing on our
My wife and I came here for the flamenco dancing on our first night in Madrid because it was recommended to us by our hotel concierge (Gran Hotel Ingles - highly recommended). I'm very glad they encouraged us to go here rather than the place right near the hotel (which was advertised all over, notably by people handing out flyers on the sidewalks). The dancing was excellent and the show was very entertaining. If you're expecting Moulin Rouge, it's not that kind of a show. The dancing can be more subtle - sometimes just movement of the feet while the body stays motionless - but it's no less enthralling. We attended the 6:30pm show which allowed for about an hour or so for dinner to be served before the show began. Now for the food - this was very good. My sirloin was cooked perfectly and very tender and juicy. My wife had fish, which was good but not as delicious as my steak. The dessert, however, was the highlight of the meal. Our concierge had specifically recommended trying a dish that was described as french toast with ice cream. It's called "Torrija Caramelizada en Leche Fresca con Helado de Platano" and it's amazing! We spent the rest of our time in Madrid trying to find another restaurant that featured this dessert on the menu. If you like french toast or bread pudding, it's kind of a combination of the two. We split one order between the two of us, but would have loved to have one each. The best part of the evening was our very attentive and entertaining server (Jorge, if I recall correctly). He was friendly and made sure he never overlooked our needs, despite having two large groups on either side of our table to serve. He helped make the night memorable and special for us. Last, my wife was very happy to snag a photo with one of the dancers after the show. Overall, a very fun evening! Definitely make this a stop if you're in Madrid for any length of time.
Be the first to ReplyWas this REALLY a Flemenco Show? Show was not spectacular.
I feel cheated by the excellent ratings because .... This was by far the WORST PART of our 8-day Spain vacation. Went to Corral de la Moreria on September 11. DO NOT GO TO THE 9:30 SHOW!! Through the Marriot AC Atocha, reservations about 3 weeks in advance. We were told this was the BEST Flamenco show in Madrid. When we arrived, we were seated in the back section of the restaurant with poor sight lines to the stage. When we inquired about better seating, the response was that the better seats were reserved months in advanced (REALLY???). It appeared that only non-spanish speaking customers were in the back section....more on that later. The stage is relatively small. There is only one dancer performing at any given time. (I have been to several cabaret shows in Paris. In comparison, this Flamenco show was more like a high school production). How can the 9:30pm show start on-time when the dinner seating opens at 9:00pm. What was management thinking? Less than 30 minutes to seat customers, serves drinks and dinner?? Everything was rushed. Had literally 2 minutes to read menu and order. Food was somewhat but could not enjoy entirely. (Kudos to our server who did everything possible to try to make the evening enjoyable including extra drinks...not his fault). In the end, the 9:30 show started at 10:20pm when last part of our dinner and dessert was served (in the dark). As comparison, the 7:30pm show was preceded by 6:00pm/6:30pm dinner seatings.... to think, ONE or more hours to enjoy drinks and dinner before the show began on-time!!Anyway, back to our terrible evening. The show was entirely in Spanish. I was expecting at minimum a greeting / introduction in English ... just 2 - 3 minutes. Tell the audience briefly about the upcoming show as done in most tourist areas in Europe. But nothing! The show began with a speech (in Spanish, I assume) from an respected older woman. Not sure whether she was the owner or a legendary dancer. But the speech went on and on for almost 10 minutes. At then end, only the customers in the "good section" gave a rousing applause as they were the Spanish speaking crowd who must have reserved their seats "months ago".The show ended with the same elderly woman giving another 10+ minute speech/performance where she displayed her so-called footwork from her former Flamenco dancing years. The show finally ended close to 11:30pm (instead of 10:25pm) .... which meant our evening was over as most places in the neighborhood closed at midnight. Show was so late that 4 tables in our section (about 14 people in total) left early.I wonder whether my impression would have been different if I attended earlier dinner/show.

We wanted to see flamingo dancers and heard that this was the best one to go to. We had dinner here first and then watched the show. We had great seats. The service was very good. I had ordered veal and it was delicious. My friend ordered the salmon and she enjoyed it just as much. Then came the show. It was fantastic. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful dinner and show with top class Flamenco.
Sat right up in front which was a special treat for our two children and 85 year old mother. Everybody enjoyed the salmon and the parents enjoyed the yummy sangria too.
