We love coming here for a date night or to bring friends from out of town. The service is great and the cocktails are delicious.

Swanky restaurant and bar with a secret Tiki speakeasy in the back, serving up uncommonly great drinks and upscale pub fare (I had bone marrow, of all things, for the first time here!). It's bustling, it's trendy, and it's staffed by wonderfully attentive and sociable staff. The bartender even took my custom order and manufactured a reasonable facsimile of an uncommon cocktail using what she had on hand, with admirable results. Easilly one of the best bars in Little Italy!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food + cocktails.
Decently priced! I had the ahi tuna, my boyfriend had the C&C burger our friend had the gochujang wings. CC burger was insanely delicious. Surprisingly our friend got a lot of wings for $15 bucks and they had a great kick to them, well cooked and enough sauce! Highly recommend all 3 dishes!! Good portion sizes especially for the price: however ahi tuna could've been a little bit more food or a tad cheaper. But extremely tasty and still thinking about it so I'm not mad! Cocktails were tasty and I'm a huge sucker for an elderflower + gin drink! Staff was so nice and I thought their cheetah uniform was interesting with their taxidermy decor LOL. Will be back + recommend!

I always have a great time when I come here great cocktails and amazing atmosphere!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent burger! But the quality is slipping sadly.
Not sure if there are financial problems or something, but there are a lot of little things that are slowly affecting this cool place.

I love Craft & Commerce for its food and drinks! My favorite is the bone marrow with bread. I was disappointed to find out they were out of the grilled oysters during our visit and scallop crudo no longer being on the menu. The burger is filling, especially with the fries and sauce it comes with. The duck tacos are delicious. I love the pickled onions and bone marrow it comes with. My favorite drink of the night was the New York sour. Service is top tier as the bartenders even come out to help serve tables. I love their team effort. Ambiance is dope. The interior has a jungle theme. Mini fire pits at some tables. I love the vibe. It's very loud. Will be back to checkout the speakeasy!

Came here for a date and my experience was amazing! Sat at the bar and the bartender attending to us with top tier service from getting our order, answering questions, recommendations, bussing finished plates and making sure we were satisfied! The food was what really hooked me to want to come back, especially the oysters! I would say it was most definitely worth it and we will be coming back! :)

We decided to grab a late night snack just before they are closing. The waitress was very accommodating and was patience with our order as one of their items ran out. We enjoyed our Mac and cheese and roasted bone morrow.

It's huge enough to accommodate big groups. Very tasteful decor and they even have some bon fire in some tables that are by the open window. What I got: Half roast chicken - lemony, well-seasoned (though a tad too salty) and with capers and sauce. It didn't come with anything, just the chicken and I thought it'd be bigger. Still filling nonetheless. Biscuits - I ordered this on the side for some carbs. I love how soft and buttery they were, glazed with honey on top. Not dry at all. Talk the talk cocktail - this was one was huge and it was standard CA price but I think I got my money's worth with its size. It's supposed to have notes of mango but it was more on the orange-y side. Overall, loved the ambience and food was great. Obviously on the more expensive side but good for celebrations or date nights.

I don't know how I've never been here before! We came on Saturday for brunch and it was practically empty. Tons of reservations on OpenTable were available. This surprised me! The service was friendly and prompt. We immediately received our drinks. My husband enjoyed his virgin blood Mary, which had a nice homemade mix. I had coffee and tried the Cupid Deluxe. Coffee was delicious. Cupid Deluxe was perfectly proportioned and very refreshing. My husband and I both had the breakfast tacos. They were good, and I particularly liked the salsa! We shared the side of potatoes which was HUGE. They could have a been a bit more crispy for my taste but flavor was spit on. Definitely would come back!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego that I have to take my out of town friends to whenever they come and visit. We were a group of 3 and made reservations a week in advance with no issue. Parking is tough around Little Italy especially on a weekend evening but there are some lots/garages around that range from $15-$20 to park. In the restaurant, you're surrounded by animal heads and very interesting art pieces! The service was very fast and all of the food came out quickly as well. We got the duck confit (it can easily feed 2 people), buttermilk biscuits, short rib gnocchi, and the bone marrow. I'd easily get everything again but I'd pass on the gnocchi. I felt like the pasta itself lacked flavor but the sauce was pretty decent. The bone marrow is absolutely delicious and I get it every time. The buttermilk biscuits melt in your mouth, they're addicting

came here with some friends and wad told to sit outside and not even aloud to drink water. definitely the rudest restaurant experience of my entire life! age discrimination maybe? had to wait outside since we were carpooling with uber.

Been here twice now, even sat at the same table both times! My friends & I love to come here when we're in San Diego. It has such a fun & chill ambiance, & the food is absolutely incredible. I think we've now gotten everything on the menu, & there was nothing we disliked. We've been here on a Tuesday, & just recently, a Friday. Both evenings were incredibly busy, but I had a reservation! Service wasn't lacking both times. Had such a great time. Can't wait to go again.
Be the first to ReplyOur table seemed to be happy with their breakfast choices.
My husband and I both ordered the omelette, which was not a good choice. Description indicated veggies, potatoes, meat. All we appeared to be able to locate inside of the omelette were potatoes! All other alleged ingredients appeared in small, small pieces.....pass on this entree!

Yes, yes and YES! New favorite bar? Yup! Amazing service, unbelievable atmosphere and the bartenders were amazing. The Bone Marrow app is out of this world and a must try. We asked the bartender for drink recommendations and we're not disappointed. Highly recommend!

Amazing Staff. Delicious drinks. Lovely atmosphere. The place has a coffee shop and a bar, how convenient is that?!
Be the first to ReplyCraft & Commerce is a CH classic.
This restaurant group is a favorite of the hubby and mine. Their interior and exterior designs are always beautiful, unique and anyone who has dined at all or most of their restaurants can identify them pretty quickly. We came in on a Monday for happy hour to do some after work relaxing before having dinner down the street. We sat at the bar and were greeted by a pleasant bartender who took great care of us. My husband ordered the Into the Mystic, a bourbon based drink with rum, blueberry orgeat and lime garnished with a sea creature gummy. It was very strong but so smooth and delicious. He ordered the C&C Old Fashioned as well but I now realize I forgot to snap a pic. That drink is unique because of the peach balsamic that give it a subtle sweetness. I ordered the Lay Lady Lay. A pretty drink with raspberry lambic, ginger and a splash of sparkling wine to fancy it up. I love framboise so it was hard to say no to a second round of this drink. It's sweet, bubbly and made me feel like a queen. We noshed on fries to tie us over before dinner but really wanted the corn dog and soft pretzel bites that we kept seeing coming out of the kitchen. Next time! There is always a next time when it comes to CH group restaurants.
Be the first to ReplyCool vibes and good food.
We were seated at one of the tables with a fire pit in the center and PRO TIP: you can ask for blankets!!! Amazing. Felt like I was eating a gourmet meal at home in front of the fireplace.
Be the first to ReplyFun place with tasty food! Vibes are great.
Perfect place to eat while waiting for false idol. I enjoyed the kale salad and my husband really loved his duck tacos
Be the first to ReplyWe stopped in to grab a drink at the bar after our music
We stopped in to grab a drink at the bar after our music festival. As we were seating ourselves the collegiate-looking bartender told us we had to go to the other side for walk-up. Not a greeting, nor any type of customary greeting ... just move. Luckily, the hostess came over and told us to stay put and then the more festival-vibed bartender took our order. We asked to order food but they said the kitchen was already closed ... huh? On a weekend night with a festival just blocks away? Nearly $50 later for two drinks, we asked for some bar nuts or something salty that most bars offer and we were shut down again. The cocktails were good, but what could be a nice lounge experience ended up being so/so and overpriced for being so/so.
Be the first to ReplySadie was an absolute legend.
She was so helpful, so kind, and made our experience so incredibly awesome. The food and drinks were amazing but the service made this an amazing experience. This is the best place in San Diego hands down.

On my most recent trip to San Diego, I stopped by Craft & Commerce for some drinks. It's a really cool vibe. Safari-esque with leopard print and animals adorning the walls. They also have an interesting cocktail list and friendly service. We only stayed for one drink as we were waiting to get into False Idol. False Idol is the tiki-themed bar which is inside Craft & Commerce. A bar within a bar. Makes for a nice one-two punch.
