Dont bother coming to this place after 9 pm.
Apperantly you have to be 21 and over to play kids games lol

One thing about D&B is that the kids will run out of points on their cards faster than you can blink your eyes. So I usually tell them don't use the card all in once place! The food was great! I asked for the strongest drink and the waiter recommended any of the Long Island Iced Tea which makes sense because of all of the liquors that are used. Well, it was more sweet than strong but it did taste really nice and sour. I got the Caribbean Luxe Long Island Iced Tea. My friends and I shared a big platter of nachos. It was really good! Until Next Time D&B!

I wouldn't have thought to come here but if you're seeing a Broadway show definitely this D&B location is a perfect way to kill time while you wait for the opening bells because it's right next to all the venues. Multiple bars, multiple places to eat, and an INSANELY large arcade. Of course, it is family friendly so it is littered with kids of all ages so admittedly is mildly chaotic but does not fully exclude the adults from having a great time. Load your game card and have fun! Do not expect to get lots of prizes without spending a pretty penny $ with a couple hundred points we were only able to get one single piece of candy (lol).
Be the first to ReplyThe bartender was rude and unprofessional.
She took out her personal issues on the customers and didn't create a welcoming environment. The table was dirty and wet from previous drinks and didn't bother to wipe it down. Could have had a better experience without her unprofessional behavior.
Be the first to ReplyExtremely racist and discriminatory practices.
They deliberately mistreat customers of color. I went to the Times Square location prior to covid in December 28 of 2019 and I was denied service at a bar by a caucasian bartender who ignored me to serve a caucasian customer that was behind me in line. When I complained about it the manager (caucasian male) refused to assist me and then told me I had to leave. when I demanded they serve me, apologize and refund me for the D&B card I loaded with money; the white manager refused and called the emergency services unit police on me. I left the premises on my own and I told the police what happened and the police on the scene actually defended me (I committed no crime and made no physical or verbal threats to be clear). I followed up by complaining to corporate who refused to provide me with a refund and tried to gaslight the whole situation. I want justice.

I haven't tried the food or drinks so this review is only for the arcade. While there aren't as many games in this location as I have seen in other locations, there was still a good mix of carnival games, basketball, racing, and shooting games. I saw people wiping down the games periodically. While games are not being wiped down after every use, I was happy to see that there were at least being wiped down while I was there. A couple of the games weren't working but most were.
Be the first to ReplyThe manager was AWEFUL.
There are no platters offered for large parties. The reservation agents did not offer options prior to the large gathering. I had to put my own chairs together. The menu doesn't have prices. The manager told me that I didn't have a party unless I reserved the entire place (buy out the restaurant for a block of time). After I was told I could enter at 2pm with my party they told me I had to wait until three and asked to speak with them just to use the video games. It's a child's place but all my guests were forced to provide ID "because they sell alcohol" ( so does every restaurant in the city). I will never return and I would never recommend this place. You are better off going elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyIf I could give zero stars I would.
First of all service is slow, the waiters don't care and are busy socializing instead of waiting on customers. The cups and tables are dirty. I ordered a beer, and the waitress mixed up the drinks gave me someone's apple juice and gave themMy beer!!! How horrible! They have more security guards walking around then an actualManager who should be Managing the staff!! Will never ever ever ever come here again in my LIFE, also seems to me that due to the clientele being majority minority they have absolutely no cares what so ever. These are people who are paying for a service. Dave and busters should be ashamed!!!!
Be the first to ReplyBig difference from the one in brooklyn ny at Atlantic ave
Big difference from the one in brooklyn ny at Atlantic ave i would say this one feels more like for the grown-ups not much kids there and oh not all dave & buster have the same games you might see similar ones but its totally different dress light if your going in there cause it get hot pretty quickly not much room to move in but hey its an arcade for games so let your teenager side come out and beat them in games ;) but tickling your friends to win some games is all part of the rules;) so bring your kids or not and let's loose!
Be the first to ReplyHaven't Been To This Place In Years & Would Not Come Back.
The Food Was Horrible, How Are Chicken Tenders Not Crispy? The Truffle Fries Had No Truffle & Were Soggy & Super Salty. I Also Had To Send Them Back Because They Came Out Cold. My Tenders Were Soggy & Flavorless Also & They Gave Me Blue Cheese Even Tho I Asked For Ranch. The Wings Were So Small & Tasted Like They Were Made In The Microwave. I Did Have A Strawberry Margarita That Was Good & The Bartender Was Very Nice & Helpful. The Place Was Packed Per Usual & A Lot Of The Games Were Not Working But Were Taking The $ Off Your Cards. One Thing I Can Say The 1 Time I Used The Restroom It Was Surprisingly Clean For Such A Busy Location Which Is A Plus Because What Parents Doesn't Hate A Dirty Bathroom Especially When Dealing With Minors. They Also Had People Constantly Cleaning The Play Areas. So They Get Some Credit For That.

Went there with kids last Wednesday, and this place is absolute garbage. Half the machines are broken and staff just shrugs it off when you complain. All of the claw machines rigged so bad the claw couldn't hold a feather, left alone a toy. Bar drinks are 99% ice, even after you ask for "light ice". Stay well away from this trash heap.
Be the first to ReplyIf you want to have a good time with friends this is not
If you want to have a good time with friends this is not the place. I've never seen a policy so stupid in my life. Who does it make sense to that you have to be 21 to go in a game themed restaurant and not even drink. And if not everyone is 21 someone has to be 25 WHY? And there's not even an explanation I asked and they said sorry it's policy. So yeah if you're the prime demographic for someone who wants to play games with friends and eat at a restaurant, you'll get turned away at the door.Edit: You can enlist in the military but you can't get into this Dave and Crusters. "Fun and safe for all" said the reply bot.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect date night spot.
I recommend the double pepperoni flat bread, fish & chips, and chipotle wings were my favs. We watch the Mets on the screen I front of us. Ask for server Aaron. He will work for your tip.
Be the first to Replyservice was absolutely abysmal.
like almost comically awful. the server forgot about us like six times. took at least 20 minutes to bring each drink order even though the more were no other customers. so don't bother going to the restaurant. also half the games were busted. so don't bother with the arcade. oh and the photo booth in the entry way doesn't work, so don't waste your time there either. maybe just go elsewhere
Be the first to ReplyI don't know why I continue to give this place another
I don't know why I continue to give this place another chance. I take the kids for lunch based on this being where they want to go. I had my hesitations but I wanted them to enjoy themselves so I went against my gut feeling and went anyways. We put in our food order and when their food came out mine was not included. I told my kids this was going to become an issue based on previous experience. Next, our waitress stopped at the table and she said yours will be out shortly. Roughly ten minutes later our waitress walks by and asks if everything was ok and I explained I still didn't have my food and they were finishing. She told me I ordered a hamburger and that takes time to cook?!? I pointed at my daughter next to me and showed that she had a hamburger. She then says I can talk to a manager if I like. Based on the negative attitude I tell her yes I'd love to speak to a manager. Next, I see her speaking to a manager and this discussion goes on for five minutes?!? What could they possibly be discussing that long?!? While I'm waiting on him my other daughter tells me her pasta was cold when it came out so it must have sat waiting on her siblings meals in the kitchen. The manager now walks up to our table and now the kids are don't with lunch and I don't have my food. He asks me what I needed and I tell him I need the lunch I ordered 30 minutes ago. He decides to tell me that the kids meals come out before adult meals and that is why I am still waiting. I told him I've been eating out for decade with children and I've never waited this long where they were done and I'm still waiting. He then tells me "well I was just clarifying you knew kids meals come out before adult meals"... Now I am upset that I'm being talked down to. He asks if I still want my food or put in a to go bag?!? So now I'm being pushed out because I expected to actually have lunch with my kids?!? To top off the experience the manager says well I'll clear off a couple of these plates while I'm here and grabs my daughters plate and in the process knocks over a full soda cup all over the table. He now goes and gets my food and the waitress decided based on the incident she is not returning to the table so I have a hamburger and fries and a empty water cup for the entire meal. The manager took the pasta meal off the bill based on me telling him that the food was cold upon receipt and he acted like that made up for the terrible experience. I pay the tab using the QR code on table and painfully now walk into the arcade which was the reason we were there to begin with and there goes another $100 I didn't want to give this place. Save yourself the pain and frustration and choose one of the other thousands of places to go while in NYC!
Be the first to ReplyI had my son's birthday party here last week and it went
I had my son's birthday party here last week and it went great! The service by Jeremy was impeccable, the kids loved the food, and they had so much fun. They were very flexible with the timeline and we didn't feel rushed at all. We were in a private room and it was extremely nice. Everything was fantastic, 10/10 would recommend!
Be the first to ReplyI have never been so disappointed the service was horrible
I have never been so disappointed the service was horrible the wait time was an awful experience I ordered bruschetta I got cold bread on arugula and a lump of mozzarella on the side?? It's suppose to be melted the other dish was spicy when we were told that it wasn't our appetizers came after the dinner it was the worst had I not been honoring my son I would called the manager the only thing they got right was the burgers a waste of $200. Go play but go. Eat somewhere else
Be the first to ReplySecurity made fun of my cousin's nails and appearance
Security made fun of my cousin's nails and appearance before even stepping foot into the arcade, gossiping with the janitor laughing and pointing at him. It's almost 2023 and we got people being homophobic, seriously? And when checking his ID staff was trying to rush him saying "What are you doing, where's your ID, you're making me WAIT." It costs absolutely nothing to be a decent human being and do your job without the attitude. I work in customer service and never once let a "bad day" affect how I treat customers. Clearly the staff here hate their job, miserable with their life and project it onto people that did nothing. Unprofessional and disgusting. Train your staff better, teach them human decency or fire them. Thank you for ruining our night.
Be the first to ReplyIt's an awesome arcade with a ton of fun games.
Can't beat half-priced games on Wednesday. But what blew me away was how nice the staff was when a game I was playing malfunctioned. The service provided by Braulio then Victoria de la Nnay couldn't have been nicer or more professional. A really sweet crew at a very cool place.
Be the first to ReplyA lot of the times I have visited Dave and Busters
A lot of the times I have visited Dave and Busters throughout the country (my son LOVES arcades), their games are out of order. Almost all the games here were working and in service. However, it is on the small side compared to other Dave and Busters but considering it is in New York City and EVERYTHING is compacted it did what it needed to do. This location is very near Times Square. We had a great time here. We did not get any food service, we just played in the arcade. I would imagine there are cooler arcade in New York City; however, as tourists we chose the prime location of Times Square and enjoyed ourselves. There is a parking structure nearby where we parked. The structure is about $40-50 under two hours.
