The vibe of this place was super nice.
There was an outdoor patio and even a lot of natural light inside with different tables. We got a corner booth and were in love with the decor and ambience of the place. Felt like I was in a nice place in Italy mixed with American influence. The service was very fast and the servers were attentive. The food was delicious but the price wasn't justified since I was a little bit hungry after finishing my pizza. We got a mixture of everything and I got a vegetarian sando which was good. The pizzas were a nice crust and the sauce had lots of depth.

Came here for an early dinner on a tuesday and it was basically empty! We sat in the patio which was very nicely decorated and shaded. Each table had a little flower vase that was cute but was causing a bee to harass us the whole time so we ended up having to move the flowers. We ordered when we got there and got our food in about 15-20 mins. We got the white pizza and cesar salad which were both delicious. I will say the pizza is on the pricer end for how small it is but we split the pizza and salad which was a good meal for both of us. The employees were friendly. We recommend sitting inside if you don't want bugs to bother you! I would come back for a date night or lunch date but not on the regular due to the price.

Super vibey and trendy spot that sits right in the super vibey and trendy area of Arts District. Highly recommend making a reservation since De La Nonna is a favorite amongst the Angelenos. Our group of four was seated in the indoor dining room at 8:30pm on a Friday night and the restaurant was poppin' with diners inside and on the patio. You walk up to the counter and order your food + beverage items and then they bring your items to your table - personally, I love and prefer this setup. You must get the pepperoni pizza with the spicy hot honey, it's a must. The pizza was crispy on the edges and light and fluffy on the inside. Also, cupping pepperoni for the win! The eggplant whip with warm ciabatta was also a nice surprise as it was creamy, unique in flavor, and spicy. You also can't go wrong with a beet salad. Considering overall LA pricing, this spot was reasonable considering the cute aesthetic, friendly De La Nonna-ers, and yummy food. The one and only con would be the lack of parking, surprise surprise.

Omfg I've walked past this this place so many times but had no idea I was missing out! This pizza is crack! I had two servings of oysters and all the drinks I could stand. The staff was so freaking friendly, amazing, and attentive! And Liz went out of her way to hold my takeout bag for me. My husband and I will add this joint to our regular date night ritual. I needed a good evening like this after a tough year. It meant more than you know

Fabulous place ,First Time and loved it Beautiful ambiance and great service. Delicious Food . Really enjoyed a tasty Cesar Salad so far my favorite salad I've ever had ,the pepperoni pizza was so good.... And the spicy honey sauce on the side or on top was ridiculously good. Ended my meal with a different twist lemon tart with this graham crust "wow" I did have a few salty dawg (Paloma style) 100%

Was looking for a quick bite before playing video games. De La Nonna really punched above it's weight. Could not stop from finishing our pizzas. We had a pepperoni with spicy honey - waiter reccomended and great balance. (not too spicy fyi) Their white mushroom pie was also great Their "foccacia crust" is just a perfect base for any set of ingredients. Lovely patio, great service, seated us quickly.

Extra charges for almost everything. Over $400 for 7 people. That's a lot for pizza! Will not be back and it's in a sketchy area to further enhance the experience!! Valet parking only $20! Nothing compelling, interesting or different to draw you to this restaurant.

There is no waiters/waitress you place your order near the bar. Food service was a bit slow on a Near empty Wednesday night. Otherwise, pizza was okay.

Food wise was good but not like superb for its price but its pizza. Was not able to try the let's go bar on the side cause we had prior arrangements.
Be the first to ReplyWent here for my 27th birthday, it was ok.
Definitely had better pizza. The host was super nice, but the service was bland and it didn't seem like they cared for us. We were a group of minorities and it felt like we were the back burner for them. Another table was sang happy birthday to, whereas they just dropped a small dessert and a candle and didn't say anything and left it. It felt uncomfy. The dessert was recommended but it was horrible. We had the beignets looking dessert with the sauce and the sauce is what made it so bleh! My favorite here was the bread and the salad and that was probably it. Would I come back here? No probably not. This is totally my opinion tho!

Love De La Nonna so much!!!! Best pizza in all of LA and such a cool vibe. Their drinks are fantastic - so are their appetizers and salads!! I just had the best birthday party ever here - they are so accommodating and all my friends had a blast. The preset party menu is excellent - best bday dinner spot in all of LA especially because it's right next to Let's Go Disco!

De La Nonna never disappoints! The pizza here is absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings. Whether you're a fan of classic margherita or adventurous with toppings, they have something for everyone. And let's not forget about their drinks - refreshing and well-crafted, they perfectly complement the pizza experience. The cozy atmosphere adds to the overall charm of this place. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal!
Be the first to ReplyPizza is 5 star.
Service is a tad slow, but the pizza makes up for it. The bottom of the crust is so crunchy and buttery. Chef's kiss.
Be the first to ReplyI had such an amazing time at De La Nonna.
The pepperoni pizza was fantastic especially with the hot honey. The place is super cute too. Loved the vibe. And the service was great from the moment we walked in.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location if you do not have young toddlers.
If you're going with friends and for a date I would recommend. Food is tasty (especially the salads) and it's a nice ambiance. However, I was so upset and disappointed tonight after dining with a friend and my 14 month old. While eating I felt we were constantly monitored to wrap up our meal. My friend was not finished eating and a wait staff asked if we wanted a box for our food. We were not finished eating and we still had half of our wine glass filled. Not once did we get a refill of water, but yet the women around our table couldn't wait until we finished. I know it's a bit noisier with a toddler, but I would assume that sitting us at the furthest table near the restroom would be enough, but no it's not as kid-friendly as I would have hoped.
Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant is super cute.
But, the service is horrible. It was our first time there. We reviewed the menu approached the window asked for 2 pizzas , 2 drinks. The cashier decided to comment that the pizzas were not that big. So we decided to switch our order to 3 pizzas and 2 drinks. He read the order to us about 3 times. We agreed and payed. 2 of the 3 pizzas arrive. I ate one , and the other sat there for about 15 minutes getting cold since it was too much for me. Meanwhile we waited for the 3rd pizza. After 20 minutes of waiting I decide to ask. Turns out the 3rd pizza was never placed. Although the cashier read our order to us about 3 times. The 2nd pizza which was actually ordered but I didn't eat since they were actually huge was cold and soggy by the time they noticed the 3rd one was never ordered. They offered to place an order for 3rd pizza. By then I had finished my pizza, the 2nd one which could have actually just been eaten by my partner since it was too big for me was cold and soggy. We decided to just get up and leave. It was just an overall unpleasant experience to deal with. We decided to drive a few miles down to bottega Louie where we actually got a huge pizza for 30 dollars and the service was great.

Excellent pizza with a variety of different options, with my favorite one being the mushroom. Good pizza seems tough to come by in LA but this one hit the spot. Moody lights inside, with counter service makes it easy to order while enjoying the ambiance. Stop by the bar next door and grab yourself a cocktail.

Came to this spot last night to eat before going to a bar with a friend. Located in Little Tokyo, a 4 minute walking distance from Angel City Brewery. The space is quite large, plenty of patio seating. The ambiance was nice, very bright with a lot plant and flower decor, which I loved. Service was quick and friendly. The vibe of the people who come here and the workers is very much hipster. We ordered the mushroom pizza which was very, very good. It had some dill sprinkled on top which gave the pizza a unique taste. Drinks are ok. Very sweet. Overall, I think I would come back again to try more of their pizza's.

Not just the best pizza in LA, but they have outstanding specials and the desserts are amazing. There is an eggplant sandwich that I'm still trying to figure out how it was so good!!! Each bite was so delicious. You can the food is made with LOVE. Also, there is a feeling of family when you walk in here. Love this place

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and this place is near Little Tokyo. Ambiance was nice. Staff was alright but docking 2 stars for the 20% gratituity surcharge even though we ordered ourselves at the counter. All they did was bring the food out. We did have a big group but we could have easily figured out the seating ourselves. So the fried eggplant sandwich easily came close to $20 after the fee and taxes. To be fair, the sandwich was big and tasty at $13. Very savory with the slight kick of the spicy aioli sauce. But not worth it after it became $17 after their surcharge. The food also came out really slow, more than 15 minutes when I was one of the first to order.

First time dining here and was a little confused on how ordering works, because it's not your typical restaurant where you sit down and someone comes to take your order. You actually get seated first, but to order, you go up to the cashier at the counter where you place and pay for your order. But they will bring the food to your table afterwards. The table we got seated at was pretty small. Luckily, everything we ordered did not come out at the same time or else we wouldn't have had enough room for all the plates. We also felt rushed to quickly clear a plate when another dish came out to make room. We ordered: Whipped eggplant (3/5) - originally was not going to order this but saw every table had this so decided to try it out. I actually was not a fan of this because it tasted kind of flavorless. Also the amount of focaccia they gave was so little compared to the amount of dip we got. Bluefin tuna tartare (3/5) - also was not a fan of this dish. It didn't really taste fresh. Caesar salad (4/5) - tasted a little bit too sour. The portion is huge though and definitely sharable. Market pizza (5/5) - forgot what the special was that we ordered because tbh I couldn't really hear the cashier but this pizza was really good! It was well flavored and they did not skimp on the toppings. Probably would not come back because this place is pretty pricey for what they serve.
