Me and my wife stop by here on my birthday, we ordered a bunch of small plates. We both started with a crab cake each for appetizers. she order sticky ribs with French fries. I had the fry chicken sandwich with sweet potatoes fries and buffalo wings (dry rub). We enjoyed the food and both had some to take home. I enjoyed everything but my wife didn't really enjoy the crab cake as she was expecting to taste the same as del frisco eagle eye steak house. She did enjoy her main dish. Atmosphere was good and our waiter was cool, she even look out and gave us me complimentary slice of cake for my birthday and was really good. I live in the Bronx, NY and I will definitely go back!!!!

I had the butternut squash bisque, which was delicious, and the truffle mac and cheese, which was very good, but the bisque was way better. I tried the NY strip, medium rare, but we were served a cold raw center, then we got it back more medium, so just a mediocre steak really. But service was good, location was good, background music was good, and because it's spacious, the ambiance was quite comfortable. Oh, and the deviled eggs were just ok.

This is an exceptional restaurant with an extraordinary buildout and a location and view of 6th Ave. that is truly dramatic. The food is magnificent and although pricey, it takes extra cost to deliver best in class steakhouse fare. The seafood tower was exciting in its presentation and the quality of each component was truly first class. And who can forget the large glass of lump crab meat in a generous portion sitting on top like the star on top of a Christmas tree. The steaks, tuna and sides were perfectly prepared from the finest ingredients and presented beautifully. Of course, the cocktails before dinner and the dessert cocktails with fresh berries, schlag and a slug of cheesecake were also notable and made for a perfect complement to a world class dining experience. It's an expense account restaurant but you got to pay to play! Hats off to this midtown gem.

Worst service I've ever experienced. New Year's Eve late night reservation. We were told they over booked, so we had to wait. We sat at the bar and tried to order a drink while we waited for a table to open but they were too busy. Finally, I saw a table get up after not being served for 40 minutes so I asked for their table. We sat down and had to ask for a server. We immediately ordered entrees because we knew it would take a while. They both came out wrong. I ordered the lemon dill salmon with asparagus and was given a plate of salmon on top for raw cold green beans. Worst service ever and we will never be going back. One of the biggest nights of the year you'd think they'd be more prepared. Absolutely terrible and I'm sure ruined many other nights as well.
Be the first to ReplyFrom the outside, it has an upscale vibe.
Inside there are some upscale design touches, but it's much rougher than you'd expect for a prime steakhouse, basic wooden tables and booths, concrete floor. Much more of a casual vibe than a date night vibe. Glad they were open for reservations on Christmas day, as we were traveling and wanted a good dinner out, though the menu was much more limited than their usual menu, and though still early evening, they were already out of several popular dishes. Some nice draft beer selections and a good cocktail program. Fellow diners enjoyed their cocktail and margarita choices. Shared an order of deviled eggs. Just a few bites each, but nicely done. Wedge salad was fresh, crisp, very nice with chunks of thick bacon and blue cheese. Ribeye was very good. Excellent seared seasoned crust and served just under requested medium rare. Tender, an excellent steak. Mash potato side was huge, though a good accompaniment. Service was efficient and pleasant. So a bit of a letdown in ambiance walking in, but recovers nicely with strong dishes.
Be the first to ReplyOur steaks and the sides were out of this world.
The meat was cooked to perfection and the sides were so delicious. The service was ok but it was a busy night. Ambiance doesn't suit the pricing but I guess it's the breathtaking view of the city skyline that makes this location special. Too bad the view is actually not visible from the dining area. Instead, it's blocked by the bar. It would be nice if the interior was more formal and more upscale like other steakhouses.
Be the first to ReplyMet at Del Frisco's Grille with some colleagues.
Had the Cesar salad, the Ribeye (medium) and crispy brussel sprouts. Cesar salad was ok. The steak had a nice glaze and was tender. I enjoyed eating it. The brussel sprouts had a nice flavor. Service was very good and attentive. We had the back room reserved and it was very nice. Easy walk from the PATH along the waterfront. Would return again.
Be the first to ReplyI'd never eaten at Del Frisco's, and was thrilled to join
I'd never eaten at Del Frisco's, and was thrilled to join colleagues for a team lunch here. I kept my order simple - salad, add steak! Medium rare, please. The steak came out well done. I ate a few of the tender pieces, but a solid third of it was beyond well done, dried out and rubbery. Did I send it back? I would have, had the server actually paid attention to me when I tried to flag her down to let her know. As it was a team lunch, I ate the salad and set aside the inedible bites, eating what I could. No one asked if we wanted more water (we did), and the only time the servers asked "is everything ok?" was when they put the food down in the first place. It's a nice place, but I'm very disappointed that a place known for expertly prepared steak, couldn't get a simple medium rare off the grill for a salad. C'mon... Oh by the way, the salad was fine. A bit too heavy on the vinaigrette, but all things considered...

What an amazing little place! Right on the water with wonderful food! The service was great. I didn't even notice them refilling my water. It was just always full. The ahi tacos are the best ahi tacos we've ever had. We would love to come back!

Yesterday we held a small (15 people) engagement celebration for our daughter here. We were able to use the separate room the restaurant had for our party which was terrific! I can't say enough about how fabulous everything was. Hector the GM really went above and beyond! It was a very rainy day, and Hector and his team helped us bring all of the decorations into the restaurant! We can't say enough about how delicious the food was, and how spotless the service was also! They really delivered and all the guests kept saying how magnificent the restaurant was. Most importantly, the newly engaged couple enjoyed the celebration, the food, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant! If you want to plan and event, I highly recommend this restaurant! Or just go and enjoy a delicious meal!!
Be the first to ReplyLove the tuna tacos here! Great appetizer to start the meal.
Love how this place is right on the water too.
Be the first to ReplyWent today, no reservation, and was seated immediately.
I was a little disappointed that it was brunch time because the menu wasn't speaking to me, but I went with salmon, truffle Mac n cheese, and a lobster tail, and it was all soooooo good. Possibly the best salmon I've had in recent memory. Everyone got their own meals, but we all ended up tasting each other's because it was all so good. We'll def be going again.

First off, the service was good but other than that, I was disappointed. I had family visiting from the UK and brought them here for dinner. We were seated in a back room with no other diners- the overhead lighting was so bright it felt like an operating room. There was zero ambiance - I almost felt like we were in a diner squeezing 5 people into a booth. The food was not prepared correctly either. Some of our steaks, which were ordered medium, came out well done and others extremely well done. The chicken fish and pasta dishes were blah. Unfortunately, my guests didn't mention this until after the fact. For the $800 plus bill, I was expecting a more sophisticated experience. Double Eagle is always amazing and Del Frisco's near Time Square and Philadelphia are always solid choices too so I was expecting similar quality here.
Be the first to ReplyDon't waste your time or money coming here.
For the price of the food you'd think it would be a high end experience but no. I can't even call it an overpriced Applebees cause even their food is better. We ordered two steaks. They forgot to put the order in for one so we ended up waiting another 30 minutes. They also forgot an order of mashed potatoes. Both steaks were undercooked/still bloody so both steaks had to go back to the kitchen. The second steak was mostly fat. Mind you this is a $50 steak. So they brought out free appetizers and apologized for all the issues. Even the free appetizers were terrible. Expensive food is suppose to have a certain clean taste and texture. Everything was so oily, dripping oil. Would not recommend, I honestly don't know how this place is even in business.
Be the first to ReplyAmbiance was great.
Service was fantastic. Appetizers were delicious. Two of us ordered the Filet mignon w crabmeat. Nothing special. Just ok. The drinks were the best part of dinner. They were all delicious. Would definitely go back for apps and drinks.

This is my second time at Del Frisco and again, I was very happy. Service was professional, polite and attentive. The food was spot on. Though some of the menu choices were very old school steakhouse, the things that were a bit more experimental were lovely. This time around I had a sautéed branzino with super crispy skin served on a bed of quinoa with lemon, raisins and kale, finished with a butternut squash puree. I loved every bite.

Food was absolutely terrible and the drinks weren't good either. Shame
Be the first to ReplyMy family and I have had countless meals at this place most
My family and I have had countless meals at this place most of them good, we have had party's of 10 or more at time. We haven't been there in some time and thing on the menu have changed. Some points to be made I ordered the ribeye the menu price 54 dollars 16oz according to the online menu. I think at the location the menu read 65 ( Way over priced ) here's the kicker I asked if it came bone in the waiter said with or with out bone I asked for bone in and so did my son WHEN THE BILL CAME IT SHOWED 22oz ribeye 85 dollars not on the menu and this steak was not the prime I know to be prime, it was chewy I had to fight it to eat it. But really Hoboken NJ 85 bucks for a steak I'm not Impressed. Note the waiter never said the price was different from the price on the menu. Also I picked my (included) side the Rosti Potato cake it was server under cooked it was GROSS I called over to the waiter and handed it back to him and told him nicely this is no good please bring me French fries he was so kind I got billed 9 dollars for French fries. Way to look out for your table. My wife Not a meat eater ordered the Celery Root Steak let me be kind it was served ICE COLD and it was not only Gross I would have to add a YUK YUK and a BARFFFF. Sadly the place has lowered its standards to less then hit or miss as well as the staff is not what it use to be. When my family and I would come see our son at collage we would take the presidental suite at the "W" just next door BTW amazing view and make a point of have a lovely dinner at Del Fresco's. As they say all good things come to pass Del Frisco's has fallen I'm sure at some point we may give them another try but its going to take some time to get over this one. I hope they read this and it helps bring the need change. Looking forward to better days ahead.
Be the first to ReplyI ordered a salad with grilled chicken for lunch.
They literally threw a cold piece of bland chicken on top of my salad. For $25 I would have thought that they would have prepared the chicken fresh. Could have gotten a better salad at Panera.
Be the first to ReplyVery let down by the food.
Was not in the mood for an entire steak so I decided on the shaved steak sandwich with french fries. The best part about this meal was the fries. The aus ju was incredibly plain, the sandwich itself was literally grilled bread with flavorless meat. Not impressed.

Food and drinks were great! Love the location on the water in Hoboken. The only reason why I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because the hostess when we walked in was not pleasant and seemed bothered to seat us. Our waitress was great. The inside was very nice and clean as well. For some strange reason, their bathrooms are FREEZING, but that didn't ruin my experience.

Went for a birthday dinner last week and we were sadly disappointed. For a Friday night it seemed dead. The air conditioning was hot working on one of the hottest days of the year. Food was alright, the server was fine but they were out of several things we ordered off the menu (bread, Coca Cola, and I believe crab cakes). Sure, there's a nice view but this restaurant was no more than average at best.
Be the first to ReplyFirst Time dinning here on fathers day 2021 .
I enjoy this restaurant. The steak was out of this world, and I rarely eat steak . Fast forward 2022 Been dying to get back to the place , tried 10 different steakhouse none of them compared to Del Frisco. Finally made it back steak was just what I remember but there was a small problem. Fruit flies all over the restaurant. I move to several different location still flies all over the place. Decided to take my food to go after a fly land on my steak. So I called for manager Shane, explain what happen and he still charge me for my meal with a small discount. Ok can you make me a new meal to go which he did and charge me full price for the second meal which I thought was kind of odd. So i decided not to pay for the second meal and left there with an empty taste in my mouth and stomache Not a fan of shane the manager Hoboken. Ps our waiter was GREAT. Can't remember the young gentleman name I may only return to this location because of him
Be the first to ReplyBeen in Hoboken for 5 years and finally went to the most
Been in Hoboken for 5 years and finally went to the most over typed restaurant in Hoboken. Yes they may be on the waterfront, but have fun ordering sub par, overpriced food with lackluster service and rude management that thinks they are a reputable steak house. This franchise needs to reconsider this location. It's no surprise that it only has a 3.5 star rating. Management needs a reality check that an overhaul needs to happen, especially when it's a ghost town in there most of the time.

Food was very good, but our creepy waiter asked if he could watch as we ate our appetizers so that he could see our faces when we tasted it. Never had that happen before. I'm writing this review about three months after our visit. I'm hoping by this time he has been sent packing.
