Fantastic dinner at the Aria
If you love Dim Sum this is a must. Make sure you make a reservation as it’s very busy. They do take drops ins, you can sit and have a drink in the lobby bar while you wait. Great for sharing, we really enjoyed it!

We seem to have bad luck dining at places where we've eaten at a sister property. We were very excited to hear that Din Tai Fung had taken over the space formerly of the ARIA Café and our expectations were high. We've eaten a few times at two of their California locations, so we were expecting familiar flavours and dining experience. Things went south from the moment we arrived. The host took us to our table (a two-top) and when we asked for a larger table (we knew we were going to order lots of food) we were told it was not possible. When we ordered, our server commented that he wasn't sure if it would all fit on our table. We asked, again, if we could be moved but he said it was not possible if this was where the host sat us. Just as the server went to place our order we saw two other couples being sat at larger (four-top) tables by the same host that sat us. I guess we weren't young enough or pretty enough to warrant a larger table. Food was served in stages, and more disappointment arrived. The famous XLB were not hot causing the pastry to become a bit stiff and the "molten" filling was just lukewarm. We made a comment to our server and he said it was because we had ordered so much food. That was are only interaction with our server between taking our order and bringing us the bill (he didn't even ask if we wanted dessert or anything else, just dropped the bill and stood there waiting with the credit card machine). At no time did he check how the rest of our meal went. Vegas has been our happy place, for years!! We have many fond memories and have eaten great meals. This was not one of them.
Be the first to ReplyGood food in a fast paced restaurant
When you want to eat here it will be sensible to make a reservation! This place seems always packed with people. The food is good and the portions ample, the service is fast and the waiter spoke so fast it was hard to understand what he was saying. For us it seemed all to hasty to really enjoy the food !

We don’t have Din Tai Fung in Canada (yet) and it’s all over social media, so wanted to try this! A lovely location in the Aria hotel, the space with its high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows is gorgeous. We were seated in a booth and it was very comfortable. However, a very busy area as all the booths are right by the main walk way through the restaurant. Food: I’m lucky enough to live in the Toronto area where there is some of the best Chinese food outside Asia. Din Tai Fung was good but I know if I drove up to Toronto’s northern suburbs I could find as good or better. Still we enjoyed our lunch very much. However, there were only 3 of us so we were limited in the number of dishes we could order (and comfortably finish). Everything was solidly good. Service: Candace was very efficient and she reminded us of Awkwafina.

Absolutely fantastic. Love the view of the dumpling prep on the way into the restaurant. Absolutely delicious food. The pork soup dumplings, the spicy wontons - both highlights. Service was great. This will be a regular stop when we are in Vegas, for sure.
Be the first to ReplyNever again - used to be our go-to
Never again!! Always our choice when in Vegas but never again! Quality has taken a nosedive. On this visit we had green beans, spare ribs, pork noodles, and pork pot stickers. Every single dish was served cold! Seemed like it came out fast as though prepared well in advance and had been left sitting out. There are too many other choices in the city!
Be the first to ReplyGo for the dumplings.
Large warehouse type setting. Service is adequate but rushed. Soup dumplings and steamed were excellent. Large menu sample many dumplings and a noodle dish for the whole experience.
Be the first to ReplyHUGE disappointment
I have been to many Din Tai Fung locations around the world. This location at Aria Resort is an embarrassment to the brand. chicken soup dumpling were tasteless, vegetable fried rice was. Bland. The only good thing was the green bean were up to Din Tai Fung standards. I suggest someone from Taipei HQ come and reteach the recipes that have made this chain so great

Wife is the Din Sum fan and gave our lunch two thumbs up. I did enjoy our meal as well but prefer the more traditional noodle dishes. Service was excellent and we were seated very quickly even being a walk in. Two hour limit on seating but plenty of time to enjoy a great meal. Atmosphere is nice and very personal even though the venue is quite large.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Soup Dumplings!
We had such an amazing lunch there for our friends' wedding anniversary. Our server Elijah was an absolute all-star. He was very attentive, super friendly, and very quick with each order. I just went to their main restaurant in Taipei, and the food was very comparable! We loved the soup dumplings, as well as the chicken soup and the dumplings chocolate dessert. Highly recommend giving them a try!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food - plan ahead
We had the shrimp an pork Xiao Long Bao, Sticky Rice & Kurobuta Pork Shao Mai, Kurobuta Pork Buns, String Beans with Garlic, Shrimp & Kurobuta Pork Pot Stickers, and Chocolate Buns. We would definitely get the Xiao Long Bao, string beans, and chocolate buns again. I would say the green beans were some of the best we’ve had. Perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The chocolate buns were excellent and reminded us of a lava cake inside a soft bun. I would try the Xiao Long Bao along with the ginger and sauce recommended. To us the pot stickers weren’t anything special, and would probably skip those. The sticky rice shao mai were good, but filling. Definitely make a reservation if you can, or plan early to get your name on the list. We waited an hour for a table. The nice thing is you give them your cell and they text when the table is ready. The wait the hostess gave us was spot on. This allows you to hang out in the casino or go back to your room.

Our meal was quite tasty… Red Bean Dumplings, Shrimp Fried Rice, Pork Soup Dumplings, and Chicken Noodles. Our meal came quickly and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Be the first to ReplyA must dine in Las Vegas- hidden gem
5 out of 5 - my brother-in-law and I enjoyed an array of options on the menu that suit our liking. He had dined in Seattle and we knew we needed to try the Las Vegas restaurant. Highest quality of dishes freshly prepared and served efficiently and at a good pace.
Be the first to ReplyFun & Delicious
My wife and I came here to celebrate as part of our 19th wedding anniversary celebration last year in June. Right away the place is just beautiful bright airy and smells like you want to eat everything on the menu. Our server Pavllo was there for every need and explaining the menu perfectly to us. I wish I could remember all that we ordered but I know it was all delicious. My favorite were the soup dumplings and the spicy shrimp wontons. I got a bottle of sake which was way too much for myself, but I certainly enjoyed it! The only downside is that I have to wait so long to go back. But we are this June! Can't wait! It is now a staple to our diet in Las Vegas
Be the first to ReplyToo Expensive, Better Options
Three of us stopped by for supper after seeing the ad on the Tram between the Park and Bellagio. Figured we would give it a try. The food was tasty but the portions were small while very expensive. And how does a plate of Black Pepper Prime Beef cost $53.00 (didn't notice the price until the bill came)? I would give this place 5 stars if the bill was 30-40% less. But there is nothing value priced at all. Most expensive Chinese food (outside of a Michelin starred restaurant) I have ever had. Now that I have been there once, I don't need to go back. Dinner for three with tip (no alcohol): $290.00!!
Be the first to Replychicken Soup, Pork chops, broth
This my first restaurant review.. i ate so many different asian cuisines but the chicken noodle soup and the noodles soup are disgusting. At first i was going to dine in but theres 50 minutes wait.. i was hungry already and its almost 2 pm, i didn't have any breakfast or lunch.. * The instant cup of noodles are more edible that whatever they serve here.. it looks like they Boiled chicken with no adding herbs, then put chicken on serving bowl and pour some hot water to became soup. * Shrimp fried rice is top with boiled mini shrimp.. its not even stirred fried. * Pork chops: the meat looks good but its taste like you eating a burger patty with no bun.. i don't why they call it pork chop! To be fair i didn't try some other stuff on menu... I just reviewing what i ate here , and the amount i paid for! Everyone has different opinion and just want share this multi million or billion restaurant serve me the most disgusting chicken soup i tasted my whole life!
Be the first to ReplyValentines Lunch date
My husband is Taiwanese so expectations were high. He enjoyed it, but said portions were small . Offered authentic Asian food that he grew up on. If I wasn’t with him though I would have no clue what to order. Clean good service and nice atmosphere ! Pricey for lunch. Sat at a table by the window and it actually snowed while we were sitting there! First floor of casino in Aria. Make reservations even for lunch. We would go back.
Be the first to ReplyAny Chicken in that Soup!
I ate here with friends last week. I ordered the chicken noodle soup along with the cucumber appetizer. I can easily say that both were terrible. To begin, I ate here last year when visiting LV. At that time I ordered dim sum and found it to be very good. With this in mind I decided to try something different from the menu. The decision turned out to be a poor one. The chicken noodle soup was the worst soup I've ever had. I found myself searching for a flavor that resembled chicken broth, but I never found it. The broth tasted like nothing more than hot water, and the noodles were way overcooked resembling mush. The cucumber appetizer was a tiny bit better, but it too lacked flavor and the cucumbers had no crunch. On the bright side, most of my friends were satisfied with their meals, but as a group we decided that we would not be coming back because there are many other places to explore.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is utterly amazing
I wanted to go to a Din Tai Fung location for years but living in Arizona made it a wish list item. I think that this is the first location that is not along the West coast. You can get online to make reservations, which is definitely the recommended approach. There is a walk up option, but you can wait for hours. We went for a relatively early dinner (considering the kids and needing to get to a show at 7 pm). Our food was amazing. The dumpling skins are so thin and tender instead of gummy. We had xiao long bao as well as potstickers, noodle soup, wood ear mushrooms, and you cannot skip the chocolate xiao long bao for dessert. I repeat - save room for the chocolate xiao long bao.
Be the first to ReplyWe finally had our second visit one year later!
We love this place! We were really looking forward to dining here again and we were not disappointed! The hot and sour soup is awesome! Best we've had. The Crab and Pork xiao long bao were delicious. We also had spicy wontons, again, delicious and fried rice with chicken . Wish we had time to dine there a second time! The service was excellent and the food is wonderful!
Be the first to ReplyIncredibly good, especially the buns
There were 4 of us dining so we filled the table with shareable food, all of it good. Everything is family style, even the soup. We had beef soup, crab and pork xiao long bao (soup dumplings), sticky rice and pork shao mai, pork buns, chicken buns, and mustard greens. All excellent but the dough used for the buns was the best. Excellent service and you can watch them making dumplings behind the glass as you enter the restaurant. Highly recommend.

This was our second time dining at Din Tai Fung, and it was just as good as the first. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing after the craziness on the Strip, and the service is so good. We had the soup dumplings, pork buns, noodle soup, spicy wontons, and fried noodles, and it was all excellent, as was the variety of tea and other drinks available. I think this will be a consistent stop for us when we are in Vegas. Be sure to make a reservation!
Be the first to ReplyGood but a bit lackluster
I was very excited to dine at this restaurant. While waiting for our table, you can see employees folding dumplings by hand so that was very cool to see. My boyfriend and I split four dishes between us and that seemed to be plenty. We ordered the chicken dumplings, the pork and shrimp potstickers, two pork buns, and then two chocolate buns. Service was quick even though it was packed. The chicken dumplings looked beautiful but the filling itself was lacking in flavor. The potstickers were also beautiful but they were very difficult to eat - they stuck to the cornstarch-like paper which caused them to rip apart. I thought the pork buns were wonderful but my boyfriend though there was too little of filling inside. The chocolate buns were exactly what you’d expect - melted chocolate inside of a delicious bun, and they were not too sweet which I appreciated. Overall, I was happy to have eaten here but I was a bit disappointed. Maybe we ordered the wrong items but I’m not sure if I would eat here again.
Be the first to ReplySecond visit! We will NEVER eat here again!
We have eaten at this restaurant in March 2021. We really enjoyed the food and the quality seemed to be close to their Asia restaurants. But not this time! Nothing was hot! The dumplings themselves were much smaller and on every item the price has gone up 25-35%!!! We were very disappointed with every dish. The cucumbers in the cucumber salad were very mushy. The pork XLB were warm, chewy and starchy. The spicy wontons were warm. The hot&sour soup was not hot in temperature. How does a restaurant serve warm soup? The baby back ribs were not hot. The string beans were not hot. The glutinous rice was good because it stays hot in the bamboo leaves. The shrimp fried rice we ordered because we were not full, and even that was very mediocre with very few shrimp and room temperature! Our bill with tip for 2 people was $190 for brunch!!! WE WILL NEVER, EVER EAT HERE AGAIN! What a waste of money!!!

We visit this restaurant every trip to Vegas. The space is large and open and bustling. You check what you'd like on a small order form and the food comes out when ready and in no particular order. The specialties are the soup dumplings but we have enjoyed everything we've ordered in our last 4-5 visits. The beef tenderloin pepper steak is delicious albeit expensive and we get it along with fried rice. The dumplings and noodles are also very good but the highlight of each meal are the chocolate mochi dumplings for dessert. Even if you don't save room, get them. You won't be sorry.
