Afternoon tea was great
Great afternoon tea for a little celebration on getting married last week Gayle brought us some celebratory bubbles which was a lovely touch Food was brilliant, atmosphere nice and staff friendly and attentive.

Came here for our friends marriage gift, for an afternoon tea and drinks, the lovely Gayle came over with a little gift for my friends as a lovely gesture so thank you very much Gayle and To the Double Tree by Hilton, we for sure will be back !!!!!
Great time
Great clean hotel. Great water pressure in the shower. Great service In the bar and restaurant. Warm cookies in lobby. Great local beer and scotch Highly recommend Ben, Sherry and Connor were great servers in the Cask & Clyde restaurant in house.

Don’t expect to sleep
Don’t expect to sleep. Hardly hear construction but the nighttime’s are worse. A lovely hotel with so much potential bur unbelievably noisy. The slamming of doors and banging through walls is monstrously loud and stops sleep even through ear plugs. I stayed for 5 nights and still here now. The first night there was silence but no heating on 4th floor, second night I changed rooms to 7th floor and the slamming of doors and thudding noises through the ceiling shook the walls, I gave up on 3rd/4th nights as they offered to move me again but to a different type of room without a bath plus the noise wasn’t much better, tonight is the last night thank goodness but it’s the worst night yet. Screaming and slamming doors from both sides of my room to the point that ear plugs are redundant. I’ve messaged the hotel app to send security to the room next door who are screaming, shouting, running up and down and slamming doors every other minute - yet they just ignored it. If you are here to party, it’s the hotel for you. If you want to sleep - go elsewhere.
Excellent and Friendly Service
The service is excellent and really friendly in particular Ryan was really welcoming and remembered us from previous visit. The drink and canapé were lovely. I would definitely recommend you staying at the hotel and visit the exec lounge - best one I have stayed at and I stay at Hilton’s every week with work.
Great hotel in a great location
Been a number of times for business meetings and business stay overs. Great location, carpark on site and ready to find. Staff always really helpful across both f&b and front office. Rooms always clean and bar area a good spot to work from and host informal meetings.

One night in Glasgow
We stayed at DoubleTree in Glasgow with CIE Tours. We were given warm cookies when we checked in. Lucy and Valerie were excellent servers in the restaurant. The food was delicious and very filling. Our room was clean and comfortable. Everyone was very friendly.
Do NOT use restaurant! All 4 of us had bad meals.
Steaks not cooked well. Worm in arugula, fish and chips.... yuck. No offer of another drink from bar...... then waitress never came back. Waited half hour to get check after trying to get another staff. I am a former food service employee (12 years) and not this poor of service in years. Please avoid restaurant! Hotel fine. Please leave to get a meal off site.
Best experience
We had a Mother’s Day brunch and we were accommodated and treated very well by the staff . It was a great experience and it was made just beautiful by all the staff that were there on the day . From the reception to the waiting staff and management thank you very much . Especially Paddy ,Tawanda,Evelyn and Daniel you are a great team there . From the bottom of our hearts thank you 🙏

Really enjoyed our stay here! Really comfy rooms in an ideal location. Everything you look for when booking a hotel. Amenities are amazing, I would love to find out the smell of the Crabtree and Evelyn body lotion/hand wash. Bar/dining downstairs is a great asset too Would return
Great dining
The restaurant- Cask & Clyde - was wonderful. Sherry took care of us and she was delightful ❤️⭐️. It was one of our best meals in Glasgow. The scallops were perfect. The bar was hopping and the restaurant was nicely subdued for conversation. Highly recommend!
Staff are brilliant
Staff are fabulous. We had the buffet afternoon tea as part of a wedding gift. The staff could not have been friendlier. Sherry and Aurora were our main waitresses are both were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is lucky to have them. The managers (Caitlin I'm sure it was and a male manager also on the front desk were so welcoming). We will definitely be back. Xx
Comfortable stay
Had overnights at this hotel Many times and this visit was very nice ! The room was well appointed and the breakfast service was fast and the food hot and tasty ! When our digital key didn’t work a staff member came all the way up and sorted it without us going all the back to reception . Thanks very much to all the Cambridge street team x

Great services especially from Paddy and Tawanda. The delicate aroma of freshly brewed tea filled the air, mingling with the sweet scent of warm scones. Each bite of the fluffy scone paired perfectly with the rich clotted cream and tangy jam, creating a delightful balance of flavors. The dainty sandwiches were a delightful mix of textures and tastes, making each bite a small but satisfying experience. The overall ambiance and attention to detail in the presentation made the afternoon tea a truly elegant and enjoyable affair.

The waiters were superb and I can't thank them enough. They have served as respectfully and did not leave us waiting for too long. I'd specifically like to thank Paddy, Tawanda, Evelyn and Daniel for their service to our table today. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

The Staff Made it For Me.
I was gifted an afternoon tea with prosecco at this hotel and the staff were absolutely amazing. They were extremely professional, friendly, efficient and very accommodating with nothing too much bother despite the people sitting next to us being very rude and arrogant. I would like to thank Esme, Vessie, Miles, Maiya and Ian in particular plus everyone else who helped make our tea. It was so special it finished at 10pm in the bar!! Thanks again everyone, we'll be back. Paul x

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Glasgow Central is in a fantastic location, bang in the middle of Glasgow city centre on Cambridge Street, the city's shops and attractions are within walking distance. I stayed at the hotel for two nights in February 2024, my stay was mostly enjoyable. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was upgraded to a Two Queen Bed Deluxe Room. I originally booked a twin room, as it was cheaper than a room with one bed, while I did not need two beds, I appreciate how the hotel specifically upgraded me to a room with two beds as it shows they paid care and attention when making upgrades. My room was very spacious, modern and comfortable. The room was also really well-lit, which is often an issue with hotel rooms, it also had a nice number of plug sockets throughout the room more importantly at the desk and beside the beds. USB charging was also available. Facilities inside the room remained good but not outstanding, it had everything I needed but nothing more. There weren't robes, slippers or a coffee machine, but there was a kettle to make instant coffee and tea. The drinking cups were very small, and I had to borrow one from the Executive Lounge. The rooms don't have fridges but they do have some which you can request, it looks as if they don't get used often as my fridge was very dusty and felt like it had been in storage for some time. It was also a little noisy, so I wouldn't want to keep it turned on while sleeping, as I am a very light sleeper. I wasn't impressed with the bathroom though - while there was a standalone bath and shower which I love the idea of, I couldn't use the shower as the temperature dial was stuck to cold, and would come off in my hand whenever I tried to turn it. Like pretty much all Hiltons in the UK now, they've switched to wall-mounted soaps however there were no soaps for the bath. I was told they don't have any soaps anymore to provide, but they did end up bringing a shower gel. Again, a big improvement would be to provide little soaps or have some in the bath as well. This property also has an Executive Lounge which is very good. Alcoholic Drinks are served in the evening including a selection of beer, wine and spirits, while this is not self-service, like most other Lounges, the staff are always on hand to assist and are friendly. After letting them know I was gluten-free, they arranged for the chefs to make me my own canapes. My favourite was the butter chicken which was excellent, and a dessert made from chocolate, strawberries and cream. Other dishes prepared included avocado toast and a butternut squash dish. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and happy to help. I was also able to get a late check-out easily. The room was fairly quiet, there was a little bit of noise from the corridors and outside, but it was no worse than any other hotel. The air-conditioning was fairly noisy though, and would make some noise even when turned off, but not constantly. I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and while there are some improvements to be made, for the value I paid and the overall experience, I had a really enjoyable stay where I felt truly valued as a Diamond member. 4*
Great hotel to revisit time & time again
Absolutely love this gem of a hotel . The staff are fantastic and so friendly. We stayed 2 nights in a king room as diamond members and the bed was huge and comfy. The executive lounge is the star attraction as it’s such a lovely comfortable vibe with snacks & soft drinks all day and canapés and drinks in the evening . Raymond in the exec lounge is a fantastic asset to this hotel as he runs the lounge perfectly with great attention to detail and always on hand for topping up your drinks. He is so friendly and full of recommendations for dining out places in the city. Your breakfast is delicious what a lovely variety of delicious food. We also done an afternoon tea with Prosecco and the food was yummy . We were full and couldn’t manage to eat the lot such nice fresh offerings. Just love a city break in this delightful hotel 😍

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

I accepted a bid for a popular restaurant in Los Angeles only to receive a phone call shortly thereafter informing me that the reservation had been canceled due to it being listed on AT. I of course need to subsequently cancel the reservation on AT but get this warning that my status will be negatively affected for doing so. I've reached out to customer support about this several times with no response, not sure what to do in this station. Hoping someone can advise.

I have a prepaid reservation, but I'm allowed to transfer that reservation to others for a price that I set (up to the total price I paid).
For selling POSTPAID reservations, do I charge the buyer the full amount of the reservation when transferring? And then the buyer pays something on top of that (which is what is listed in the AppointmentTrader listing?)
Major Issue for Seller
My money is being held hostage! Can you please remove my refund medal as I am below the 11% threshold and should be able to withdraw my full daily amount now? I have been teying for a long time to get a reply on this. Major issue for people looking to do good/right like you ask and make positive sales. Being able to access earned revenue is critical and not getting any reply is very concerning for your sellers. Lot of other people having the same issue. Once below the threshold you should auto remove the warning medals.

Just wanted to put this out there as I find it quite weird. AT will hold money if your sell through rate is to low. I find this strange as you would think that sell through rate should reflect more on AT not marketing their site well enough to generate sales. It seems weird to punish sellers for listings not selling.

Banned from Resy for selling reservations- Do we have a rat on our hands???
I am new to this app and started off by selling a polo bar reservation and then quickly sold one more reservation. Not long after I received emails from Resy saying all my reservations are cancelled and I am being banned from Resy for life. How could this have possibly happened without a rat telling Resy that I sold the reservation. I need some advice on this situation and let’s catch the rat!
