Beautiful food in a stunning venue, perfect to celebrate Dad's 70th!
Beautiful food in a stunning venue! The staff were delightfully attentive which you would expect in a Michelin venue however they really went above and beyond with the gorgeous little birthday cake for my Dad's 70th as well as signed cook books and madeleines! We opted for the Eleven tasting menu with wine pairings and it was superb! Well worth the visit!
Be the first to ReplySuperb Michelin Restaurant with unique menu and exceptional service
Prior to reserving a table I had read some poor reviews from six months ago and also some excellent reviews more recently. Just arriving at Elevenโs impressive building, all lit up, was impressive. Approaching the entrance door, the receptionist opened it, greeted us by name and took a straight to our table in one seamless move. From entering to being seated at a lovely table with a great view took 20 seconds. Having been enjoying Michelin restaurants for 45 years, I have a fairly good idea of what constitutes Michelin standards. There is absolutely no doubt that Elevenโs Michelin status is well deserved. Our entire dining experience was interesting, full of surprises, the presentation was exquisite and the evening was lovely. Added to this, the service was first class, could not have been bettered. We enjoyed the bread course, which was well explained as was every dish when served. The maitre dโ who took our order was particularly helpful with substitutions due to an allergy. A special thank you to the sommelier. Her advice was absolutely spot on. She had four different Montrachetโs and after some discussion, her recommendation produced one of most enjoyable Montrachetโs recommended for some years. That makes a welcome change. A well curated wine list and the menu choice was remarkable for a Michelin restaurant.

What a great experience! We did the seasonal tasting menu with a bottle of wine. The service was incredible. Our glasses were never empty, the timing of courses was spot on, and the food was fantastic. We also received a complimentary cookbook signed by the chef with our meal. It is fairly expensive, but worth it for a fancy night out.

Chef Joachim Koerper continues to be in great shape, creating absolutely delicious dishes, from presentation to the most important thing, flavor. Every moment was of the highest level. The space, always elegant and welcoming, and the service complemented a memorable experience that deserves all our applause.

What an amazing evening. We wanted to experience a Michelin star restaurant while we traveled through Portugal. I had incredibly high expectations that were exceeded tenfold. The setting was perfect with amazing views. The staff and service were perfect. One of our party couldn't eat seafood. They modified her tasting menu to accommodate her without issue. But the food. WOW!!! Every morsel of food had so much flavor. I've never experienced anything like that before. I didn't want to leave a crumb. We even received an autographed copy of Chef Joachim Koerper's cookbook. It wasn't a meal. It was an event! I will remember and cherish it forever.
Be the first to ReplyNice restaurant with a fantastic view over Lisbon
We booked out the private dining room for a work dinner at a conference. The food was very nice considering they had to cater for about 60 of us. The views across Lisbon were great.
Be the first to ReplyAn Incredible and Memorable Evening!
Wow! What an incredible and memorable meal. Eleven was recommended by a friend when she learned my husband and I were planning a trip to Lisbon. I had not had time to research the restaurant when I made the reservations so did not know quite what to expect. And I certainly did not know it was a Michelin Star restaurant. We were blown away. What a fabulous meal! Our expectations were far and above exceeded. I don't recall how many courses there were only that each one was amazing. At the end of the meal as we were leaving the restaurant, the hostess surprised us with a personally signed copy of Chef Joachim Koerper's beautiful cookbook, Restaurant Eleven. I would highly recommend Restaurant Eleven!
Be the first to ReplyA wonderful restaurant!
Wonderful dishes super delicious. Loved the โamouse boucheโ , the entrance, first dish, second dish, desert and petit fours. The wines were very good too, only Portuguese wines!

Excellent dishes. We got the eleven menu which was a wonderful introduction to the various types of traditional Portuguese cuisine with a modern artistic twist. Chef also gave us his signed cookbook as a gift.
Be the first to ReplyAmateur hour at Eleven
I have dined at many Michelin starred restaurants and find great pleasure in a great meal accompanied by spectacular service. So I decided to spend my last meal in Lisbon at Eleven due to the fact that holding a Michelin star for consecutive years holds great value. This was one of the worst experiences Iโve had at a fine dining establishment. I think that having dined at a 2 Michelin star restaurant the previous night (Ocean) really magnified how poorly managed this one was. We arrived late to our reservation by 30 minutes due to issues with our Uber dropping us off at the wrong location. I tried to call the restaurant repeatedly but could not get through. Luckily they called me and I alerted them of the situation. I donโt know if that upset them or what but what followed was unacceptable, regardless. They accommodated my friends dietary restrictions and suggested we order a prix fixe menu. I was fine with it since I wanted the Eleven menu anyway. She got the vegetarian but she added the $96 euro wagyu entree to her veggie menu. The staff paid as little attention to us as possible. We had to ask for silverware after we were served a course and we stared at it for 10 minutes, unable to eat it. They served me their cooked fish filet completely raw. I thought this was odd so I asked the waiter if I should be able to cut into the fish with my butter knife that they gave me (no joke). He said yes. I showed him that the fish was raw. He took it back to the kitchen. I mean this was just mind blowing to me. Halfway through the meal we had 4 empty cocktail/wine glasses and no one picking them up or asking if we wanted another round. Now we are 2.5 hours in and we had only received 3 courses while a 6 top and 4 top who sat after us was halfway through their meal. Eventually I got so fed up that I got up and told the hostess I wanted to leave. They insisted another course would be out in 2 minutes. So we stayed reluctantly. Chef came out and took photos and talked to his large parties. Said hello while he walked by to smaller tables. Zero interest in the experience of his guests. My main course which was lamb was served rare. I didnโt care. I wanted to get out of there ASAP. We sat at 8 PM (2 top) and didnโt get out til 11,30 PM. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because they comped the drinks to make up for the issues. My waiter told me it was a very strange night, that nothing like this ever happened before (bull! I read the reviews as I sat at dinner being ignored). Best part, the 4 top i previously mentioned left and the rest of the evening their dirty table was left as is. No staff even bothered to clean the table. Clearly mismanaged and understaffed.
Be the first to ReplyPoorest Michelin experience ever
Lukewarm, bland menu & incompetent service (waiting, dessert forgotten, ordering thrice, served 1/2 of petit fours)
Be the first to ReplyGood food and great views
They have a great and affordable lunch menu. It gives a good indication of the cooking styles of the chef, without breaking the bank. Added benefit, the view from the restaurant is amazing as it overlooks Lisbon.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, poor service, low overall value
I recognize even being able to consider a Michelin star restaurant at this price point is a privlege. That said, while the food was great, I have had much better for half the price. But the real killer was the service. For the first three courses, it was excellent! Timely, responsive, and thoughtful. Then they literally forgot about us for an hour, then after dessert forgot about us again even after we politely asked about what was going on. We were just a couple, but two other couples and a four top all sat down and left before we did. Being ignored is forgiveable and understandable if thereโs not enough staff or if youโre being difficult. But we were just plain ignored for 1.5 hrs. Might actually be the worst service Iโve ever had.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious dinner with wonderful service.
This is a lovely dining room with a beautiful view of the park. The food was carefully prepared and presented. We had the wine pairings with chef's 50th anniversary menu. We stayed at the Rite Four Seasons and you could walk to Eleven from the hotel.

Recently went with my husband, and it was a beautiful restaurant in Lisbon. Pros: * Amazing views * Great customer service * Tasty food experience * Able to get in last minute Cons: * Overpriced. The price did not justify the meal (especially in Portugal). * The wait between courses was a little too lagged
Be the first to ReplyWe were very pleased with dinner
We were very glad to get a reservation at this restaurant. We were looking forward to our evening here to try the tasting menu. We ordered the wine paring also. I had trouble making a reservation online but once in country I was able to call for a reservation. The restaurant sits on top of a ridge overlooking the beautiful Parque Eduardo VII to the Avenida da Liberdade with even the river in view. It is a beautiful setting. We were seating at a window so enjoyed the view until sunset; but even then the city lights were delightful. Our tasting menu was spectacular and we enjoyed the accompanying wines. Even though the portions of each was small, overall it was plenty of food. And there certainly was ample wine. It really was a lovely evening. Service was very good and the wait staff had good English skills. The hostess called a taxi for us when we were finished.
Be the first to ReplyA must try in Lisbon
This was an experience we will never forget. We were 2 couples travelling in Lisbon and were treated like royalty. The service , food and drinks were over the top. The restaurant it self is absolutely beautiful and the views of the city are spectacular. No wonder these guys have a Michelin star. Very well deserved and will return here the next time we are in Lisbon.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Lunch!
We went midweek for lunch and had a delicious meal. Different menu options to choose from and we decided on the 50 years lunch menu. The staff were brilliant, we never felt rushed and our food was lovely! We thought the meal was very good value.
It has a nice view out over the park so perhaps try to request a window seat if booking in advance.
For special occasion
We saved this place for our last night in Lisbon and it was the best decision to keep amazing memory about the city and the country. I liked this little bit old fashioned design and of course I liked the food, very good price for Michelin restaurant. Food was outstanding for real, to be honest I expected the worse but tasted what I experienced were sublime. Truffle rice is perfect and excellent and dreamlike. Thank you! Definitely Iโll be back next time when Iโm in Lisbon to try different options of menu ๐ค
Be the first to ReplyGreat Location and Food
This is a beautiful restaurant located at the end of Edward VII park. Although beautiful interiors, lighting was a bit too bright.
We had the tasting celebrating the chefโs 50 years of working which had some great highlights. The wine pairing was one of the best ever, as were the presentation of each course, particularly the foie gras.
Superb
So good that we visited twice on our short trip (dinner & lunch). Service, ambience, food & wine excellent. Took the wine option for the dinner occasion & the chosen wines were perfect compliments to excellent food (taste, presentation & quantity). Lovely that the chef visited the dinners during the meal. Everyone from start to finish were lovely & highly professional
