Super unrecommended
Super unrecommended. 1. Long waiting time: 30 mins for queue, 1 hour for dishes. 2. Very poor service: We asked for the time after we have waited 45 mins for dishes, the middle-age waiter said impatiently: โaverage waiting is 45 min and do not disturb me, I do not have time to answer youโ 3. Expensive prices: Definitely more expensive than other restaurants in Geylang 4. Poor decor and facilities: Must have earned a lot with so many customers, but still such terrible environment 5. Outdated payment methods: No Alipay, No PayLah QR code. Only cash or pay with Singapore phone number 6. Very normal taste: The taste absolutely does not deserve the waiting time and the price.

The sassy/rude welcome and ordering ritual aside, when the Eminent Frog arrives, bubbling away in its clay pot glory, itโs worth the wait and the abuse. We ordered three dishes (expecting the 2+1 special price of $18, which we didnโt get) - Black Pepper Frog, Hot Chilli Frog and Frog with Shallots. All three dishes were outstanding and the porridge was a welcome addition, although we were sceptical. Ignore the rhetoric of those who have criticised the poor service. Also those complain about the language barrier - itโs Singapore. Thereโs a reason this place has a Michelin Star. We arrived early and didnโt queue, although we had to grab our own menus and order at the kitchen. No problems with that, itโs not fine dining! Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyBe prepared for no service, and incredible food, then you wonโt be disappointed
We read the reviews that talked about the lack of English and service, so we were prepared to ensure the ordering occurred under our terms. Which meant, we jumped up and took control, found the menu, selected and jumped up again and placed the order. The food was amazing, my favourite was the pepper frog, and the the hot chilli and number 7 (forgot the name) frog was incredible. We both love frog and this did not disappoint.

The staff service is very bad, cannot speaking english and not welcome. One staff throw menu after otdering Recoomend to other shop
Be the first to ReplyWaste of time
Donโt expect any type of service when you dine here. They were rude and it took almost an hour to get our food. One of the worst Michelin recommendations in my opinion. There are much better options to consider when dining in Singapore.
Be the first to ReplyVery terrible
Wait for an hour but nobody ask for help. Me and my friends never go back again. I think forengers go here and donโt want to go back again

Preorder for this Thursday dinner (so will post review then). Hopefully the food will not disappoint. Just wanted to upload a more readable menu for the benefit of readers.
So far, Iโve discovered that they no longer offer delivery service. However, you can order in advance either via telephone or WhatsApp. They were quite responsive. Decided to pop by the stall to visit and clarify my options for Thursday. Staff (Jason) was helpful and pleasant.
Average food, overrated, poor service
The frog porridge is OK but overrated. Had tasted many other frog dishes.
Have to wait long to be served. I do not understand why it is so crowded, perhaps there are lack of options in Singapore? The Chinese waitresses are very rude. Overall, the dining experience is very poor.
First time frog porridge
Visited this place earlier in the month for my first experience of frog porridge. Somehow m, despite living in Singapore for so many years, Iโve never tried it before. We arrived super early here in order to avoid having to queue. Fairly long wait after ordering, but the frog porridge was really quite good. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Great frog's leg as usual. Excellent food and a beauty to the eye. Great dirty chai's. Warm, inviting atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyTry not to come on the weekend
I did not expected to wait 1,5 hours for this, the frog was good but not wow, might be a bit over rated.
Be the first to ReplyLong waiting times and over burned food
The waiting time was really bad, took more then 45mins to be served there is a phrase "good thing comes to those who wait" but it does not always mean true to the phrase. Kong bao the gravy had the strong smell of being burned. What made it worst was after addressing the servers the only thing they did was to fill the pot with spring onions obviously trying to mask the smell. Hell at least change the freaking pot for crying out loud. Never coming back again.๐ก๐ก๐ก
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Frog Porridge & BBQ Stingray
Usually crowded so need to queue for your table and wait for your food to be served. The porridge goes really well with the Ginger Spring Onion Frog dark sauce. Fried eggs and vegetable also very tasty. Donโt miss their signature BBQ fish but must eat it hot. Limited parking for those who drive
Be the first to ReplyNice frog porridge, long waiting time
We reached the restaurant at 10:30pm and the restaurant was still full of customers. The restaurant are with 2 places, 1 at Lor 19, 1 at Lor 17. We ordered 2 frogs Gong Bao and 2 not spicy, 2 porridge. Buy 2 get 1 so we have 3 frogs for each. They added some sesame oil into the porridge so the smell is really nice. The frogs are super tasty, even the Gong bao (fried chilly) are good. We needed to wait for nearly 45โ to be served, and the taste seem to be better when you are so hungry. It cost us S$40 for all above. Would recommend this place if someone want to try frog porridge
