Downhill all the way..,seeedy
Once Wynn left, the hotel went downhill. Service is non existent. Who wants to wait 25 minutes for morning coffee. If you donโt reserve one of their overpriced restaurants, order room service as you will not get seated. Smokey, dirty and staff is BEYOND rude and dismissive. A good thing gone bad.
Be the first to ReplyAverage stuff on the strip
A disappointing check in process resulted in a real bad taste . After working about way through a pretty long queue we ended up with the front desk โms Andrea โ who after tapping certain codes gave us a scare that the bookings have been cancelled despite giving our identity details and we reiterated that there were two booking numbers ( one of cancellation and one of rebooking)and after a prolonged process and giving her confirmation from my agent back in India , she finally finds the numbers and never made any attempts to be apologetic about the prolonged wait and stress she caused to entire family including kids and elderly parents . Now usually when such a fiasco occurs , the front desk prioritise the process of the desk , but nothing happened in here . So no bright spot on globe here; amenities are pretty much the same , hospitality was a turn off after the check in. Resort fees was unnecessary as we will not be using the pool or gym . Restaurants are almost all taken up ; they donโt encourage walk-ins , give you a wait time for over 2 hrs ,and give a perception of โ stiff neckedโ attitude like โ go find yourself another place to eat โ. We would have preferred that in case of unavailability Atleast someone can guide us to some place vacant . Overall .. avoidable and no need to pay a resort fees where the resort hospitality is unaccompanied to guests who are senior citizens and with kids. Disappointed !!!
Be the first to ReplyWhat a view
Family vacation to see Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. So hit Vegas while in the area. Biggest plus is the view. Could see the Sphere and all the way to Bellagio. Super nice. Next best is the space. Room is very big and comfortable. As for services, Warren at the concierge desk is a cut above the others. He gives lots of suggestions and ideas for alternatives when something canโt work out. Others just said no table available sorry. Hotel location was great for us. Itโs at the end of the strip so less mobs of people walking. But if you looking to casino hop then you might find it to be a bit far from the โactionโ. The only negatives I can cite - they donโt provide a coffee machine in room and nor is there complimentary water. Weโre in the desert. The room price point is high. Give your guests free water for โฆsakes. And guests like to make coffee before getting dressed to head out so donโt tell me about Starbucks in the lobby. Give guests in room coffee. This would be 5 if not for the water and coffee.
Be the first to ReplyThis is the best hotel being the encore and the encore Tower suites in Vegas this hotel has everything
The tower suites at the encore Vegas absolutely perfect. The standard of housekeeping is exemplary and the hotel cannot be faulted. within the hotel the restaurants are really quite sensational having used all of the restaurants that isnโt any aspect of this hotel that is open for criticism. Probably the only disappointing point is the cost of room service is very expensive
Be the first to ReplyOur room was luxurious and peaceful.
Our room was large, quiet and comfortable. The walls and doors are thick so noise isnโt a problem, and this is very important to me. The room felt very luxurious. We had a room on a higher floor. In general I think the rooms are quite expensive, but fortunately we got one that was discounted one night last week and that was the reason I was able to book it. Iโd recommend this hotel even though smoking is allowed on the main floor (yuck).
Be the first to ReplyWe suffer discrimination, mistreatment and we were humiliated by the hotel
The worst experience ever ! We suffer discrimination, mistreatment and we were humiliated by the hotel staff. When we were defending ourselves from the mistreatment of a staff member during the david guetta event, 8 people surrounded us and gave us 15 minutes to leave the property. They did not refund any money for our stay, just bullied us into leaving the hotel. They didnโt permit us to speak with the general manager so pushedWe felt very unsafe and intimidated by staff members of the hotel. An act of discrimination for being Latino.
Be the first to ReplyMostly fabulous
I have been of the opinion that the Wynn is the nicest hotel in Las Vegas, and I still think thatโs mostly true. This is my first time staying on the Encore side and the rooms are truly spectacular. Roomy, technologically advanced, comfortable. They feel luxurious. The service at the pool, restaurants, concierge and front desk is also exceptional - even better than I remembered. I requested a number of things at the front desk and they were more than happy to accommodate. The food and drinks were very good everywhere we went - Delilah, Espresso, Jardin, Aft Bar. They have particularly good coffee, which is also not something I remembered. The pool areas are quite glorious and comfortable. We still got a real kick out of the Lake of Dreams. I visited the spa for the first time and it is truly to die for, beautiful and well-equipped and featuring really wonderful staff members and service providers. For the bad, the casino and reception areas still stink of cigarette smoke. Obviously this is a problem all over Las Vegas but it is bad at the Wynn/Encore, maybe because the lobby likings are low and the reception desks are right by the casino. It is also, and this is no surprise either, eye wateringly expensive. The room prices to up there, of course, but the incidentals and food are insane (this from someone who lives in New York City). The place is carefully arranged to charge for absolutely everything - you canโt even place meal leftovers in the room fridge because itโs reserved for mini bar items and they threaten a $25 fee for leaving outside food in there. Itโs a little much. Overall, this is a great place to stay if you are good with the price.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Stay Customer Service Could be Improved
Let me start by saying the Hard Product at the Wynn is phenomenal. Room was well-appointed (TV was a bit small) but everything was clean and well put together. Customer Service could be improved. So I booked with Amex FHR which costs a little bit more but included the following benefits: 30 credit for drinks or minibar 150 spa credit 4pm GUARANTEED Late checkout 60 breakfast credit Spa was phenomenal; 50 minute massage for $90 with tip when accounting for the spa credit Minibar snacks were a nice touch Breakfast we did at the buffet which was also great and the quality of the food was top notch However the hotel had an issue with the late checkout. There was no do not disturb doortag in my room and housekeeping kept knocking on the hour (4-5 times total) from 12 pm to 4pm - despite being told multiple times I had late checkout. I wanted to sleep for a bit since I had a red-eye back to the East coast obviously this did not happen. I informed the front desk about this and they were like oh we dont see the 4pm tag on the room. (Makes no sense since to their credit they applied all the appropriate credits listed above were applied). I asked for someone to follow up with me about the stay so far radio silence. I understand service issues can happen but I think at least a follow up is due here. Overall its too bad. I would have happily given this place 5 stars and booked my next few stays in Vegas at Wynn/Encore but I dont want to be harassed to get a guaranteed benefit. I think the hotel is great with everything is going well, but when things go wrong dont expect recourse.
Be the first to ReplyTop hotel, not top service
5 Star Hotel with 2 Star Service Not the first time Iโve stayed here. Customer service repeatedly has ignored my emails. Not what i expect from a hotel like this. I have been charged incorrectly for a buffet where I also unfortunately had to complain about the quality and selection of food. I have been waiting for over a year for someone to get back to me . No one has I stayed this year and again, no one felt responsible for this issue. Checkin staff was however great
Be the first to ReplyWhat a disappointment
First the good things: A nice hotel room, but the designer overdosed on faux gold lacquer-the entire room decor was just not my style. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly and the AC was quiet and kept the room at exactly the right temperature I wanted it. The bathroom was large and had plenty of soap, shampoo etc. The staff were by and large friendly and helpful but with a dose of disinterest, and obviously looking forward to getting off their shift. The not so good side: Be prepared to be nickle and dimed on EVERYTHING. A can of coke in your room-$8.00, a 0.5L bottle of Fiji water for $12.00. Everything in the minibar was obscenely overpriced. I get it that this is Vegas, but this was ridiculous. The food in every restaurant was horrendously over priced and you need to make reservations days if not weeks in advance of your arrival. There was very little availability in the restaurants when we arrived, so ended up going to other restaurants in town. Good for us as we had better food. The casino was extremely smokey which irritated by throat and made all of my clothes stink. The Wynn is intentionally designed to force you to walk through the casino to go anywhere and is confusing so you get lost in the middle of a smokey, bright pulsating light and loud music environment that is almost seizure inducing. Would I stay there again? Absolutely not, not even if I won a free weekend there. If you want a nice luxury hotel go to the Waldorf Astoria or Four Seasons.
Be the first to ReplyNice Experience
Lots of things to do , inside of the hotel Almost no need to venture to other properties on the strip if its not a destination Casinos are sufficient Restaurants are good We have stayed at both properties , several times No major complaints Good choice
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best hotels in Vegas
Very nice hotel. A little quieter than the Wynn, the room was very comfortable and nice interiors. Great bed, sofa, bathroom. Encore gym is better than the Wynn's. The restaurants were very nice and accessible. Although the casino is smaller than the Wynn side ( and quieter), you can easily walk over for more action/noise to the Wynn. I prefer the quieter Encore side. If they have a large group, don't be surprised to be waiting in line for the elevator at certain times. Friendly staff. Also easy walk to the all the shops/restaurants next door at the Venetian. Definitely one of the better hotels on the north side of the strip.
Be the first to ReplyWynn Encore, treat yourself !
We love this hotel, everything about Wynn Encore is exceptional. Once again we stayed in one of their giant sized tower suites with a fabulous view. The staff could not be more friendly and the hotel is a little quieter and more refined than Wynn itself. We dined at Mizumi ( world class ) we dined at SW (twice) both were amazing and never disappoints. We cannot wait to return again to Las Vegas and to Wynn Encore.
Be the first to ReplySeems to have lost the Wynn charm. Very pricey with lots of nickel and dime items
Hard to explain. The facilities have been kept well; however, for the premium price hard to see the benefits. Everything is a charge now. The Internet included in the resort fee is only basic and sluggish. Always shocked these high end hotels don't believe in coffee maker. Some people don't want room service and just want a coffee before you start the day. Food at all restaurants was very good but just terribly expensive. As an example we had a 60 USD for two breakfast credit and ordering a coffee, food item and maybe one side always has our bill almost 2x that. Most striking thing was front desk interactions. Had four instances and each time the attitude seemed to be that they were doing me a favor by providing a high level of service. Room is stocked with almost nothing but a mini bar. Two wine glasses and nothing else. The room size is bigger than most on strip but the extra living area you quickly realize isn't that efficient to use. Look. It's a nice place but hard to justify the price premium.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful week at the Encore!
Just back from a seven night stay at the Encore. We have stayed here many times, yet when we walk in, it still makes us gasp at how beautiful it all is. It is certainly not a new hotel now but you would never know it as it is maintained so efficiently. From the moment we checked in to when we checked out, we were looked after. The staff are second to none. Whilst there we enjoyed meals at Jardin, Terrace Pointe, Charlieโs, the Buffet and the Express cafe. However, the best meal of the week was definitely at Sinatra in the Wynn. Perfect corner table, fabulous food, perfect service. I canโt recommend it highly enough. All good things come to an end and the week flew by but we will definitely be back and it will definitely be to stay at the Encore. I canโt imagine why anyone would choose to stay anywhere else in Las Vegas.
