Never disappoints! Fausto is not just a community gem but should be a destination for everyone in NYC looking to experience fine Italian cuisine with an excellent and approachable wine list!!

Unique /true Italian style , with great service The menu is only one page but has nice variety of platters As appetizers we get the cauliflower and the stracciatella both were tasty full of savory flavors And then capellini Nero ( delicious black squid ink pasta with shrimp :was delicious but has a bit of spicy flavor. The oreccietta was delicious as well , whole wheat chitarra( this platter was amazingly delicious with egg yolk Black bass was ok For dessert olive oil cake covered with marmalade and vanilla panna cotta was outstanding Recommend!
gorgeous italian restaurant near barclays.
it's modern, sleek and elegant. i recommend a res - you may be able to even get one day of if you're flexible on time. the food was phenomenal. we started with the mixed chicory with the chilled red - a zinfandel blend - then had the orecchiette with a full bodied spicy lombardi. we then got the scallops, reverting back to the zinfandel. it's a great place for any special, romantic occassions
Love, love, love Fausto.
My fave restaurant in Brooklyn. Great food, cocktails and service every single time.
Quality dining with truly Italian fare.
Bolognese is authentic, not just meat sauce. Wine list is off the charts, somewhat expensive but you'll find bottles very hard to find elsewhere. Atmo is upscale/casual. Fun to pop in at the bar for robust cocktails and appies!

I don't say this about many places, but I'd 110% go back here especially for this pasta. Ambience was also great! Very cozy for a winter night out.
First off, I can't believe this place only has four stars.
Dined there Thanksgiving weekend and I was so impressed that I immediately booked a table for a birthday two weeks later. Where to begin! On a menu in which everything sounds outstanding, the house-made pastas are the stars. It was tough settling on just one, but I had the tagliatelle w/ veal bolognese (basically licked the bowl), while my friends had the pappardelle w/ lamb ragu and the whole wheat chitarra w/ wild mushrooms & egg yolk, both of which were just as delicious. In fact, I liked the chitarra so much, I got an order to go and had it for lunch the next day! The cocktail menu provided another dilemma -- they all sounded so good! I had the Paper Plane, a bourbon-based concoction with several other ingredients that sounded fancy and Italian, none of which I had ever heard of in my life. It was scrumptious. Oh, and let's talk about the service for a second... So when I booked the birthday dinner, I mentioned that we were celebrating. As soon as we were seated, a waiter came over and poured us each a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. See, it's touches like that that make people love a place and want to return again and again.

Fausto was lovely! We made a res for a party of 4 on a Saturday evening day of, though it was the weekend following Thanksgiving so maybe normally this wouldn't be possible. We ordered a couple apps (cauliflower, arancini, and focaccia) and 4 pastas (pappardelle, paccheri, capellini nero, and chitarra) to share. This was a perfect amount of food. Mt favorites: the cauliflower (loved the anchovy caper vinaigrette) and the paccheri (delicious lemony flavor) I'd say our experience was a 4.5 out of 5 because we had to wait a little while for our table to be ready despite having a res, and the coursing timing was a bit off (we had to wait longer than we waited to between the first and second round of pastas). Otherwise everything was fantastic. Would recommend and would go back!
Our neighborhood go-to.
We find ourselves going back frequently. The servers are always attentive and friendly, and the food is very good. I recommend the chicken entree, but the pastas are always a winner as well.

I ordered the antipasto Cauliflower salad and I'm so glad I did! It's a great mix of flavors with cooked and raw cauliflower. I've had cooked cauliflower flower that was flavorless and too raw; this dish is the opposite. Flavorful and crisp without being too raw. The sauce/dressing is a great complement.
Service ruins a potentially cool spot
There are so many excellent Italian restaurants in BK, I'm trying to find a reason why anyone would choose to eat at Fausto, let alone go back for a second visit. The food is fine and the ambiance is nice but the service is so rude it's comical. Not slow or disorganized but just plain bad vibes. Our server rushed us through our entire meal because apparently they needed our table back for an incoming reservation (you overbooking on a Friday night? Not our problem!). I can't overstate how unpleasant the whole experience was - my friends and I were stunned. Tl;dr: skip it.

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
