Friends of my mother recommended this place so we decided to try with a group of 7- mostly seniors. We were the 1st table to arrive on a Wednesday evening and provided menus and water. The specials were presented but most opted to order from the early bird selections. The early birds were served with a house salad, regular menu had a choice of house or caesar. The house salad was quite good- spring mix greens, slivers of green apple, and gorgonzola cheese with white balsamic dressing. The bread basket was piping hot and served with both butter and a very nice dipping oil. My entree was ordered off the regular menu- Veal Saltimbocca- veal medallion with spinach, prosciutto, and Mozzarella topped with a brown sauce. It was very good, but for $23 there wasn't much there. The side of pasta had sauce that tasted canned and not very appealing. The rest of the party seemed to enjoy- Chicken Parm and Shrimp Francaise from the early birds, Ravioli with chicken and crab. Early bird dessert was a simple vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. OK, but nothing special. Overall, a B+.
