I have never in my life experienced such exceptional
I have never in my life experienced such exceptional customer service as I did at the Four Seasons Oahu Ko Olina. From the moment that my children and I arrived, we were made to feel so welcomed and comfortable. We all know that the front desk staff makes the first impression and Dave is really great at his job. He chatted with us while we were checking in and explained some of the amenities offered at the resort since this was my first visit.I quickly noticed that the staff is what makes this place so special and so welcoming. If I had to use one word to sum it up, it would be RESPONSIVE. When I mentioned that my son liked English breakfast tea, the housekeeping staff immediately put that in our room for him. When I mentioned that I loved fresh flowers, the staff immediately put a beautiful arrangement of flowers in my room. When the housekeeping staff noticed that we were drinking all of the bottled water in the room, they added extra water later that day. The housekeeping staff also did a wonderful job ensuring that our room was absolutely spotless, well-stocked, and that no detail was overlooked. It's really wonderful how the staff notices the little things and addresses them.Attention to detail is definitely what sets this resort apart and this is why the Four Seasons Ko Olina is famous for their customer service. To put this in clear terms, I lived in Japan for almost 11 years and stayed at many resorts throughout Japan during that time. The staff at the Four Seasons Ko Olina surpasses the famous Japanese customer service standards that I have personally experienced!During this stay, we enjoyed an oceanfront room with two double beds, and a rollaway bed. Even though there was a rollaway bed added to the room we still had plenty of space to comfortably move around and to enjoy In Room Dining for our meals. The In Room Dining staff are all very nice, but there was one member in particular that left a lasting impression on my family. His name is Chad and he is fantastic! He has such a wonderful attitude, and was not only welcoming, but was also very friendly and professional. He even delivered a stuffie toy to my daughter along with a delicious chocolate chip cookie! To see my children so happy and relaxed, made my staycation even more enjoyable.I also want to point out that the valet department is amazing in the fact that they addressed me by name and asked me how I was enjoying my staycation so far. One particular staff member named Jon even remembered that it was my birthday. Now that's impressive! This resort is really something special and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. There are lots of quiet places to walk and enjoy the beautiful landscaping, as well as the ocean views. And the sunsets are breathtaking. My favorite spot is probably sitting on the beautiful expansive lawn while relaxing and feeling the serenity around me.I am already planning another trip back to this special place. My children are excited to try paddle boarding again because the instructor named Kai made it so much fun. See you again soon Four Seasons Ko Olina! You are perfect.
Be the first to ReplyThe Four Seasons Oahu is a wonderful hotel and lives up to
The Four Seasons Oahu is a wonderful hotel and lives up to many of its 5-star reviews here. It's a great location - on the west side of the island away from the crazy crowds of Waikiki and Honolulu. But it's also not isolated here! You're right next to a Disney resort - but they do a great job making sure the crowds don't take over. The resort itself has good boundaries and folks respect those. Our room was amazing! A full balcony. Spacious bathroom. Hotel beds you wanted to sleep for days in. At one point, my husband left his sunglasses sitting out on the dresser. When we came back, housekeeping had put a Four Seasons microfiber cloth under them. So tip - leave your sunglasses out for a fun souvenir to take home!We loved having an adult-only infinity pool where we could spend the day away. Great service there. They really know how to make those island drinks you're craving! Plus we often ate lunch poolside and always loved it. And be sure to try the drink bus sidled up to the pool :)The shores are generally too rocky for you to hang out on. There are man made inlets that are also beautiful you can go to but for us, the adult pool was where it's at!And speaking of rocky shores - because of the location, we actually saw a lot of wildlife, including Hawaiian Monk Seals which are endangered! some people said they even spotted whales while sitting by the pool. Unfortunately we missed them :/But here's the rub for us that takes away 1 star. Our hotel room faced north - which overlooks a beautiful private park. This place holds a lot of events. I mean a LOT of events - I think we saw 3 weddings while we were there. The music was SO loud it was like being next to a nightclub. And no, this isn't me being an old fuddy duddy. The hotel actually puts ear plugs in your room because there's nothing else they can do about it. I understand that this isn't in the hotel's control, but it really was invasive. I mean, even with the ear plugs, you could hear the damn bass of the music. And that's with the doors closed. Thankfully the music stops around 10 - but good grief! If you're staying at a 5-star hotel, it's hard not to react to the intrusiveness of these parties that easily happen 5 out of 7 nights.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing spa experience, our couples massage was flawless.
Service all around from valet arrival to our departure was top-notch!

The bed was soooooo comfortable. We slept like babies. Lol. The staff were friendly. They made my birthday special. I would definitely go back. The walk along the beach on the rocks was awesome!!! Seals laying on the shore was amazing to see.
Be the first to ReplyI want to work and LIVE at all four seasons resorts - this
I want to work and LIVE at all four seasons resorts - this is how much I LOVE their resorts, leadership, impeccable service, clean and luxurious rooms, kids activity room, pool, delicious food, adult and baby amenities, the daycare ladies, etc. - I can continue listing all the amazing things four seasons always offers to their guests. This is why we always stay at four seasons wherever we are - you cannot get this kind of service anywhere else! (Sidebar: same reason why I love shopping at Nordstroms - amazing customer service). Aulani is a smaller resort, but beautiful location, amazing views from pool/hot tub, delicious food at restaurants, and so much fun for the kids! The daycare ladies are super patient and so much fun for the kids - wish we can steal them to be our full time nanny team!!

Be the first to ReplyBest location, impeccable service, and incredible views.
The five stars goes out to the incredible job done by everyone working in service at the four seasons. The housecleaning, the accommodations, and the response to requests are all top notch. The rooms were exquisite. I enjoyed all the special things like the lighting, the tub, the large lanai, the complimentary shampoos smelled incredible. The view was incredible from our room which faced the circular pool. The noise and music was a little annoying. but I let it go because everyone was just having such a great time. The gym! Oh if you like to work out the gym is extraordinary. Plenty of space, lemongrass cool towels available, bottled water and separate cardio and weight rooms, plus an outdoor area if you want to work outside in the beautiful hawaiian fresh air. The spa looked nice but i didn't visit it. Service at the pool and the beach was also impeccable. I'm really grateful to the staff, and the amazing job they do. Would love to come back.

This property gets over shadowed by the others on in Hawaii. It's really a great property all around.

Not a 5 star resort, overall it doesn't compare to other resorts on the island. Dinning availability, quality, and service are atrocious. Suite is nice and the beach is great but you can get those at other resorts.
Be the first to ReplyWe had never stayed at a 4 seasons property prior to this
We had never stayed at a 4 seasons property prior to this trip, and I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Post-pandemic, prices have gone up on everything, and every other hotel I've stayed at has stopped offering daily room cleaning, and service has generally diminished across the board. We were able to book the Kama aina rate since we were visiting from Big Island, but it was still a big splurge for us- I was really crossing my fingers that we would come away with an experience that we felt was worth the money.Let me just say, it absolutely met, and in some cases exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is immaculate, and the staff was incredible. We were greeted very warmly with a delicious drink at check-in, and our room was ready even though we had arrived a bit before our check-in time. Our room was stocked with a Nespresso machine and all the necessary accoutrements, cold water, Bvlgari toiletries, and probably a few other nice things l'm forgetting. It had been a long day of traveling and we were starting to get a little hangry... but like, hangry for booze. We headed down to the pool bar, and a bartender named Chad greeted us as soon as we sat down. We explained that we were hangry for liquor, and he whipped up the bombest Mai Tai's we've ever had, quick style."This is my signature special Mai Tai, it's got some extra kick to it" he explained, and he was not playing. His drinks were excellent. Classy but unpretentious, perfectly balanced... the man really knows what he's doing. I kept asking for more of whatever he recommended, and each drink was better than the last. My favorite was a coconut tequila drink with jalapeños and mint in it- like nothing else I've ever had, and I had probably 5 more of them over the course of our 5 night stay.Bartending skills aside, Chad made us feel so welcome, he treated us like friends. e remembered the details of my stupid stories that come out after a few drinks, humored my equally stupid questions about local culture, and generally was a really entertaining guy to chat with. Service like that truly makes a vacation special. We went back for more Chad drinks at every shift he worked during our stay. He was our favorite, but the rest of the staff was pretty much every bit as friendly and attentive.Particularly, the housekeeping staff kind of blew our minds with their attention to detail. When a pair of glasses was left on the counter, we returned to find them placed on a 4 Seasons branded microfiber cloth. All our charging cables were wrapped in a neat silicon band (also with a 4 Seasons logo on it), and we had TWICE A DAY MAID SERVICE! We are not used to that kind of hospitality and I dunno if I can ever to back to staying at crappy motels by the airport now. The valet staff was also awesome, giving us cold waters to drink every time we waited for our car (never more than like 3 minutes). We had dinner at Noe 2 nights in a row and it beyond exceeded our expectations. My Mom is from southern Italy and generally complains about the food at any Italian restaurant because it's not up to par- not here. She raved about it. Also their espresso martinis are the best l've ever had anywhere. My only slightly negative comment is that style-wise, the hotel is starting to show its age ever so slightly. But really who cares, it's not a design showcase, and compared to other 4 seasons properties, our room rate was very competitive- more than enough to make up for earth-tones on every surface. One or two Chad cocktails and you forget all about it.If there's one thing you take away from reading this, it's that you will absolutely be pampered like royalty at this hotel regardless of whether you're a billionaire staying in the fanciest suite, or mokes-in-training from Puna like us, who booked the cheapest room possible. I was concerned that we wouldn't get the value out of the experience that we had paid for when we booked, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Mahalo 4 Seasons!!
Be the first to ReplyIt's a nice looking smaller resort.
The restaurants are good but a little pricey. Watch out if you go to the "secret" beach in front of the resort (off to the right as you walk toward the water). The security staff goes down at sunset and locks the gate! You'll see tons of people on that beach with photographers trying to get that perfect photo with a professional. I think it's a really awful thing for the Four Seasons to lock everyone on the beach. Some of us had to lift people over the gate then climb over. You can walk down the lava rock and cut through the bushes but the rock is really rough and hard to walk on. I spoke with the the desk who called security about this happening (he didn't know). They admitted to it and said that they unlock it at sunrise. No one is hidden. When they lock the gate, they're looking out at all of the people on the beach in really nice clothes. The Four Seasons should be ashamed of themselves!
