Omg! I love love this place.
It is unique. For starters the wait staff is very friendly and attentive both times I've been there. And they allow pets outside, big plus for me since I have fury babies. Ok so the food is unique because no where else do they have these awesome creations on their menus in Fort Lauderdale. And go eat out a lot. My favorite is the sunrise arepa. Sweet corn fritter and spicy chorizo, yum! Looking forward to trying some other items on the menu. Can't wait till I go back
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I really enjoyed our brunch here.
It was definitely busy and I can see why. The ambiance here screams good time! The menu has a variety of brunch items that range from sweet, salty, to sweet and salty. My only complaint is that the portions were a bit small for the price. My husband and I both got mimosas and they were good. We wish there was a bottomless mimosa option but that's okay. We started with the donut holes which I honestly was not expecting to be as amazing as they were. The donuts were soft and weren't too sweet, the side of milk was great for dipping the donut in. It was SO GOOD. You only get 5 of them though, which even for two people, was not enough to share. I got the s'mores waffle which was excellent. The waffles had a nice crunch and the Nutella complimented it perfectly. The graham cracker and toasted marshmallows really elevated the waffle. It surprisingly wasn't too sweet. I really enjoyed it. My husband got the chicken and waffle sliders and he really enjoyed them. The waffle was the same, so the crunch went well with the chicken and bacon. The chicken was well seasoned and the jalapeño jam gave good flavor. My husband also got a potato cake which was good and needed since the portions were a bit small. Our waitress was awesome throughout our entire experience and we would definitely return given the chance.

My sister-in-law, niece, grand-niece and son went on Sunday before attending the Tortuga Music Festival. We had never been there, but the reviews were good, and we just wanted a good breakfast. The restaurant was quite busy, and we were told the wait time would be about 30 minutes. However, less than 10 minutes later, we were sat. Our waitress told us the specials which sounded pretty good, but I went with the Foxy Dip based on the description on the menu. Oh My!!! It was so delcicious! Did I mention pairing it with a pineapple mimosa? Although I don't know what everyone else ordered, they did say they were happy. At the end of the meal, we shared a smores pancake. It was good but I expected better, when thinking smores. Next time I'll try a different sweet option and there will definitely be a next time!

The Dizzy Chicken is one of the best original sandwiches I've had in some time. Juicy even without the chicken au jus. Peppery arugula, provolone and a crusty roll! Great outdoor seating. Great servers.

Lunch was mediocre, but what really made me unhappy was our waitress. She didn't introduce herself so I can only identify her as having a Russian accent. She did not tell us about the specials, nor that bottles of wine were 50% off. The neighboring table got the full information from their waiter after we had ordered. We ordered four glasses of wine and then found out we could have ordered a bottle which is about the same amount for significantly less money. We asked if we could retroactively get charged for the bottle instead (and by the way she acknowledged it was her mistake to not tell us) she said she would ask the manager. He refused, at least according to her. I am not surprised the restaurant was a ghost town at noon on a Tuesday. I think the manager needs to heed the restaurants stated mantra "BE NICE"

French onion soup, brussels sprouts, bacon wrapped dates, churrasco, and all the cocktails were phenomenal! We came here a few nights ago to try out the spot for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the quality, prep time, service, and pricing. Highly recommend this spot. I will be back here soon!
Be the first to ReplyI picked this place simply because of the name.
And I'm glad I did. This foxy Brown girl loved it. We went for brunch. The food was amazing! Portion size was great and flavor packed. Super busy place on the weekend so make sure to schedule a reservation. Despite how busy they are, the food will arrive quickly. The staff was super attentive and made corrections when necessary and easy to accommodate any dietary restrictions/alterations. I wasn't in love with the decor but it is s full modern. I love that there is a bar area, outdoor seating and regular inside seating.

Visiting a new place and couldn't resist trying a new brunch place. We were not disappointed. Our server was excellent - she gave great suggestions and was spot on. We had a foxy dip (OMG. The best!), avocado toast, and s'mores waffle. The waffle was delicious and super sweet. If you are a chocolate lover - it's for you. They opened at 9:30 on the dot and were hopping in minutes. Cute place. Definitely recommend it.

I've been here for brunch a few times and it's always very busy because this place is the bartenders are so sweet and helpful and will make fresh martinis. I do wish the brunch menu included a more standard avocado toast because that's my absolute favorite brunch item. Regardless, this place is a staple and always a fun experience!

Great place in the Flagler village area to grab drinks or food. Been a ton of times and bartenders are always friendly, especially Colleen, Johnny, and Hanna. Gets super busy during brunch on the weekends. On their brunch menu I like the grain & green bowl which is a healthy option on their menu (maybe the only ;)). During the week, my fave is the chicken meatball grinder, but you can't go wrong with the patty melt either. Oh, and if you order their fries extra crispy, they are delish.
Be the first to ReplyFood was just OK.
I ordered the appetizer dates wrapped in bacon. The bacon was triple wrapped and the two inside layers were raw. Ugh!
Be the first to ReplyI've heard so much about this place being one of the best
I've heard so much about this place being one of the best brunches in the area, and now that I've finally tried it, I can definitely see why. They are located in the Flagler area, and have brunch on the weekends until 3:30. I expected a crazy wait on a Sunday afternoon, but was able to sit at the bar immediately. With being at the bar, service was super quick and attentive. Everything looked amazing and beyond your standard breakfast items, and I was torn between 4 different options, including the special which was a Girl Scout cookie waffle. I ended up going with the raspberry white chocolate pancakes and an espresso martini, both of which were so good. My husband got chicken and waffles which came in the form of little sliders. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavors went together well. It's on the higher-energy side, at least at the bar. If you want a quiet, relaxing morning brunch, this isn't your place. But if you want great food and a fun atmosphere, I'd highly recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was amazing the atmosphere casual fine dining.
The wait staff is attentive. We have gone twice now and both times we got the fried green beans. They are amazing so crispy not too over battered and they give you so much. I got the short rib grilled cheese and it is to die for. My dining partner got the special which was a mahi mahi Rueben and she said it was sooo good. They give you so much food. I got the Garlic parmesan fries and she got the regular fries and they give you a ton. 9 out of 10 for me.
Be the first to ReplyJust get the he chicken and waffles brunch.
Do it. Its worth it. The plate itself could feel two.

TV's showing sports . Great hosts and the menu is interesting, but the food amazing. Try the Wings and drinks
Be the first to ReplyReserved weeks ahead for a Sunday brunch at The Foxy Brown.
Despite the crowd, the friendly server offered great recommendations. Tried the strawberry streusel pancake special--huge hit. My short rib eggs benedict was tasty but if you aren't a fan of salt it might not be for you. Appreciated the small fruit that came with some of the plates. Service took a while due to the busyness, but still a recommended spot for a reasonably priced brunch; just make sure to book ahead.

We've see write ups and ads for The Foxy Brown for some time now and have been eager to check it out. We met up with friends here for dinner. A great feature for sure is that there is ample free parking. There is a parking garage right next door that provides free parking for the restaurant. As one knows, there is rarely free parking in Lauderdale. There is choice of inside and so we sat outside. Want to mention, they do have happy hour food and cocktail specials. We got there in the nick of time to score $5 cosmos! Yay! For apps we chose bacon wrapped dates and the maple bacon wings. Absolutely finger licking good. My entree was grilled salmon over jasmine rice with a fresh, bright green chili sauce and asparagus. Cooked perfectly and flavors were subtle and savory. We look forward to visiting again. They serve brunch, lunch, dinner and the menu is curated just right. Enough variety but tight enough that you know that all will be executed well.

Great staff & food. Very pleasant atmosphere, worth finding (off the beaten path of tourists).
Be the first to ReplyThis place is beautiful.
Such a relaxing atmosphere. We sat inside but there is plenty of nice outdoor seating too. Our server was Nikki and she was the best. I was having a hard time deciding what to order and she was so helpful and spot on. I got the Hangar Steak Hash and I do believe it's the best breakfast I've ever had. So tasty with a bit of a heat kick in it. My husband got the Classic Benedict and he said it was excellent. Highly recommended for breakfast or brunch.

Ordered a chaser salad with chicken, the menu said it included bacon. when the salad came I started eating and it had large chunks of under cooled bacon fat. worst salad I ever had in my life. I assume the cook didn't show up and they had someone who has never been a chef before. also the service was lousy. won't go back again..

Be the first to ReplyThe Foxy Brown concept was allegedly inspired by a
The Foxy Brown concept was allegedly inspired by a memorable patty melt and a milkshake. This particular patty melt is no ordinary one - it's a classic example of elevated comfort food. The Be Nice Restaurant Group owns Foxy as well as Top Hat Deli, Lunchroom and others. Growing up professionally around restaurateurs who created small empires like this has set my expectations clearly. Each restaurant generally sports a distinctive, well-executed vision. Unlike easily-franchised concepts, these unique restaurant groups like Be Nice tend to have in common: good friendly floor staffers who know the finer details of the menu; good kitchen staff often run by fledgling chefs who regularly use that experience as a springboard to their career; a commitment to fresher ingredients; a keen understanding of their neighborhood and their broader market; and interiors that are nicely-designed with comfort in mind. They are almost always priced for a range of budgets. The sweet spot is $50-$75 per person with drinks, tax and gratuity - but those tabs can go lower and much higher. My husband and I like to go to The Foxy Brown on half-off wine bottle days. Seriously, half off of ALL bottles, not just a selection of bottles that are overpriced to begin with. Recently, we swam into a bottle of Novellum Chardonnay - a French/Languedoc that is well-priced regularly at $32. But $16 for the bottle? I'm inclined to return. Yyyyep. That particular meal a few days ago included a skillfully roasted half-chicken served in a deep, wide bowl over a blend of quinoa and vegetables, soaking in the jus. We split that and also devoured a large panzanella-style salad of greens. It was a simple meal that reminded us of our trips to Europe - driving through a small town we'd stumble into the local bistrot on the square...salad, roasted chicken, a bottle of wine. We would relax, drink, eat, and leave sated. True here. But, wait...the price! Granted we're not big eaters, but all of that for $62? That's for both of us, not each of us. Total. Including a good gratuity. Service is always efficient at a minimum at The Foxy Brown, and it's usually friendly and knowledgeable. A couple of the waiters have come to know us, and they always make it a point to come to the table and welcome us back, even if we're not seated at their station. That's important to the Be Nice Restaurant brand. "Be Nice."RECOMMENDED: Leisurely lunches, small groups, high value diners who expect to pay in the $50 per person range with drinks. NOT RECOMMENDED: Indoor intimate conversations during high volume evenings, patrons who don't enjoy a casual atmosphere.

The server never made his way over to us untilwe were sitting at least 40 minutes. Thankfully, the manager realized he was no where to be found and she took the drink and dinner order. He made his way over after 40 minutes and wanted to take our order! The food came and was very good. I'm sure the manager assumed he would jump in and take care of us but he never did. He never checked on us or refilled drinks. He left the bill on our table as he walked by. No thank you. The manager then offered us desserts. It seems like he needed a lot more training before he was on the floor. It was a long, agonizing meal.

Let me say first this is a very cool and beautiful restaurant. Love the atmosphere! We had a 2:30 pm reservation for Brunch. They were crazy busy but we were seated at 2:25. Our server was truly great. As I said they were extremely busy and the kitchen was clearly in the weeds. He kept us informed and the wait was not an issue. The crab cake Benedict was very good however the egg was cooked hard. A bit disappointing on a Be edict. The shrimp and grits were good. Just basic cheese grits and well seasoned perfectly cooked shrimp. Overall it was a please t experience and good food.

We checked out the new Foxy Brown location and were pleasantly surprised by the larger dining area and ample parking. A big change from before!More importantly, the food was delicious. We started out the the phenomenal French toast sticks. I honestly could have eaten two plates of them by myself. My husband had the chicken and waffles, I had the classic benedict and we split the loaded potato cakes. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Definitely looking forward to our next meal here.
