The funny part about this restaurant is that there is no atmosphere, if you call eating while watching other players play right in front of you is an atmosphere. Food here is definitely over priced, and the flavor is only So-so. They charge $215 for one lobster. And the sashimi were sliced super thick, doesn't taste right at all. Great service though. The only time I will go there to eat is to accompany some people I know . Otherwise, I will not eat there at all and do not recommend.

Delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more menu items.

It pains me to give this place two stars b/c there is a ton of potential for the place to be an all out Chinese food slayer. Unfortunately, on the particular night more than a few things were off target. My buddy and I ordered the calamari, General Tso's chicken, beef chow fun, vegetable spring rolls, and two beers. Let me begin by saying the beef chow fun was pretty good. All the flavors you appreciate in a well made chow fun that was created in an extremely hot wok. I asked for some hot sauce and was given some "rooster sauce" which usually takes any chinese noodle dish to the next level. Regardless the beef chow fun was good. Now on to the not so great dishes. The General Tso's chicken was well flavored, but the chicken was pretty dry. I don't mean bearable, I mean too dry to enjoy. You can probably get better GTs chicken at Panda for a fraction of the price without the dryness. Our veggie spring rolls were undercooked. In fact I could still taste uncooked aspects to include the wrapping and contents. The calamari was overbreaded, lightly salted and on a bed of chopped vegetables. I wasn't sure what I was eating other than deep fried squid and random veggies that added zero flavor to the overall dish. The white rice was fine (as it should be) and the beers (Sapporo) were on point. None of which will ever get me to come back to this spot. The service was steady and speed at which food arrived was quick. The last point I'll make is that the food is quite overpriced for mediocre chinese food. This is not only upsetting but a major disappointment since "expensive" chinese food usually comes with the added benefit of some type of nuance. The quantities are decent but if I'm shelling out $15+ dollars for a chinese dish it better be worth it. Sadly, I won't be coming back here and will hope that it turns into a spot worth revisiting.

I drive trucks and search for restaurants often, found this place and was in the mood for some Asian food.. Caught an Uber, walked a good ways to it bc it's on the 2nd floor of this casino & in the back.. As I arrive there's dishes, food, & bottles everywhere so there's nowhere clean to sit.. I patiently stand out the way to wait & see what place will be cleaned first.. Waited about 6/7 minutes just for a clean table.. NOW THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING: As I'm waiting for a clean table, for older white ppl come up & the Asian lady greets them, cleans a table off, & sits them w/ open arms.. So after they were seated, me standing there for 6/7minutes I hv to tell somebody to clean a table I wanted to sit at.. After I'm seated, I get no menu, no nothing.. Nobody asked if I wanted water so I get up to get my own menu.. After sitting for atleast 10 minutes w/ no service I had to leave.. I had to be the 3rd person to leave too.. It just sucks because I was really in the mood for Chinese food, went out my way for this place, & was treated like crap..
Be the first to ReplyThis place has horrible service.
Long waits to be seated at a table, constant attitudes from the female wait staff when you ask for a menu, longer wait times to even have someone take your order, and constant culture of favoritism toward customers who are Asian. I don't have a problem with people getting a hook up, but it's not right to skip over other customers to give immediate attention to Asian patrons. Overall, the food is good here, but the service is AWFUL.

Pricey, but best spicy shrimp fried rice I've had in Maryland! I always stop by to grab one to go anytime I'm in that area... tasty, substantial amount. They have good sushi too...just a bit pricey for me. If much prefer to pay for a whole box of food than just one roll or one & half for the same price.

Hours are great, but everything is 50-100% pricier than you'd find in town. I'd thought casinos would have moderate prices to keep you there. I don't even gamble, just came here because a nearby bar closed and I was starving. Got the beef chow fun, which is hard to mess up; the noodles and veggies were good, but the beef tasted a little un-fresh. Not spoiled, just like frozen solid and re-heated weeks later. If you're already in the casino, everything is closed, and you don't mind paying a premium it's fine. But it's not worth dropping by the casino unless you're absolutely craving Asian fusion at 3am on a weeknight.
Be the first to ReplyMy favorite resstuarant I'm Horseshoe.
Food is very good. My favorite server (Cassie) takes excellent care of us. She always checks several times to be sure our food is to our liking. Occasionally the good is not perfect but they always make up for any short falls. Our Chilean sea bass was delicious. We always love the mushrooms with choy sum. Tried something new. Loved it but slightly salty for us. But perfectly fine ( lees salt is our person preference).
Be the first to ReplyIt's all about the service and food.
Service is slow and for food as well. Food is ok but not as it use to be as Ruby8. Food is also expensive if you do not have any comps. The have a lot of turn over from staff and the service is slow. When I was there, a dude was off his shift but stepped in to help out with orders and stuff. Will I be back? Ummm only for comps. ProTip: people just order fried rice. Idk why but that's what they do

Waiter has argument with his girlfriend using profanity while working. Screwed order up and we didn't get everything . The Horseshoe really needs to hire better people at all their restaurants it's getting ridiculous.
