Prime Rib was amazing and my wife had the Cowboy Ribeye
Prime Rib was amazing and my wife had the Cowboy Ribeye which was also really good. The portions are huge. The French Onion soup was also epic, although I have nothing to compare it to as this was my first time ever ordering it. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyBest fry aged steak in town- hands down.
Long tenured, very knowledgeable staff. Helpful and friendly. Do Not over order the sides though- make sure you save room to finish your streaks!
Be the first to ReplyVery very good steakhouse.
The guys ordered steaks, we had the short ribs and scallops, Brussel sprouts and wild mushrooms. All of it was delicious! The service was amazing and welcome atmosphere. The old fashion was made to perfection but my margarita was not the best .. overall, definitely worth going here!
Be the first to ReplyParty of 4 on a Sunday night.
First sat at the bar, the bartender told 2 inappropriate jokes, one against women and one racist - definitely offensive. Our waitress Caroline was awesome, she chatted and laughed with us to fill time since the kitchen was backed up 50 minutes (after ordering). Filet was cooked well with nice crust. Scallops were way too small for $48. The baked potato was mediocre, it was over cooked and the works does not include bacon ... $13?! Bread was tasty but is served room temperature with hard butter. Wedge salad was very good. Salmon was salty.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was delicious.
The service was top notch too. We originally had a reservation but ended up eating at the bar so we could watch the March Madness games . The ambiance was nice & relaxing. We will definitely be back again.
Be the first to ReplyI LOVE this place.
The food is so incredibly high quality at such a reasonable price. The staff were beyond anything I have ever experienced. This imagoes above and beyond what I expected for a steakhouse in the NYNY. I have eaten steaks all over the world and all types of cuts, but this center cut fillet mignon was one of the best steaks I have ever had in my life. Ever. The ambience and vibe of the place is excellent and the staff provided a service unlike any I have had before. Omar was our server and he was excellent. I had the crème brûlée for dessert and it was so light and fluffy. It resembled a vanilla leche flan and was delicious! Highly recommend!

I was there exactly at opening time to request a table for two without a reservation on a Friday afternoon, but they said it would be a 45 minute wait. I opted to sit at the bar which is open seating. Observing the restaurant, there were plenty of tables available all throughout the hour and a half I was there for, so I am not sure why I was not able to sit at a table. The bar has great service, and the food is lovely. I had a wedge salad and a phenomenal dry aged New York steak. The wine was lovely too. I will surely try this place again.

DEFINITELY try the dry aged bone in new york steak it is phenomenal for those who know this is like a bone in filet its the same cut and hard to get its just wonderful highly recommend the prep was perfect
Be the first to ReplyI so wanted this to be good.
Daughter and I on vacation. She got the filet and it was under seasoned and overcooked. She didn't care but a $70 filet should be perfect every-time. I got the chicken and it was also under seasoned. Some carrots and parsnips left this dish boring to me. The chicken was a bit fatty. Bread was good. Service was slightly above average.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was great, especially for the price.
I didn't expect to get such an incredible meal for the price, especially on the Las Vegas strip. The service was phenomenal. Our server was very attentive and very quick. The ambiance was very cute with all of the old baseball player pictures on the walls. I will definitely go back when I'm in Vegas again
Be the first to ReplyDecided to try a new restaurant while in the Vegas.
The room was small and a lil warm but the drinks were great. I had the lobster a it was great. Steak steak steak was ordered medium well but it came out medium. My hubby had to send it back and they still were not able to get it right. So he decided to eat what he could and sent it back once he got to the red. It still just wasn't juicy and lacked flavor. We were really disappointed in the service here and won't be back.

Took a friend here last night to show him what I thought was a great steak house. Total embarrassment. Under construction so you're stuffed into a small noisy room. Food took about an hour to come out (after complaining). Then the food comes out cold. Food gets sent back just to be microwaved and brought back? If you check reviews you'll see that everyone thinks this place is a complete mess during construction. They need to shut down till they're done. Such an embarrassing night. Took my friend to Bavettes and made up for this embarrassment

Our steaks were the beat steaks we have ever eaten! Perfectly cooked and buttery soft that it just melted in our mouths!! The service and ambiance was phenomenal as well! We can't wait to go back to Vegas just to go back to have another steak at Gallagher's!
Be the first to ReplyWorst experience ever for a steakhouse.
First ordered an Irish Mule (versus Moscow Mule). watered down to the max. Sent it back. Next version. Less watered down- but having given my expectation to the staff= 50/50 scotch + ginger beer = weakBone in strip loin. Never heard of a bone in strip loin. Ordered medium rare = arrived extra rare = almost blue.Spoke with the manager - returned. They "re-cooked" the same piece of meat. Second time was rare.Spoke to the manager again. He agreed both times with my summation. Offered to replace or something new. After 90 mins I was done re-ordering anything.Worst experience ever in terms of a steakhouseSide note: not indicated when reserving. Restaurant is under construction/renovation. Crammed into a small noisy room (seating approximately 60). So noisy, couldn't hear my partner speaking. Not to mention the service staff tripping over themselves.Worst experience ever...Would not recommend or return.Management did not charge for the steak. However, charged for the Irish Mule + scotch (versus replacing the vodka with scotch)

Party of 6 ordered all steaks! Every steak came out as they had cooked them and let them set for 20 minutes as they were not hot making them tough also. I understand they are under remodeling construction but none of us were even asked how our steaks were! Very over priced for what it is as dinner for just two was over $200! I myself ordered the shrimp cocktail for $25 but heck there only 4 shrimp on it! The ambience ....well... it was very crowded and our server was not very good considering he didn't even ask about how our meal was and never offered to make things right. Lots of other steaks to eat in Vegas probably won't be back here

This review was written while they are being remodeled, so the experience might be much better when that is done. However, they are still staying open and charging premium prices, so the review is based on what you should expect from a premier Vegas steak restaurant.During the remodel, they are serving in a private room where the seats seem a little bit more crowded that usual. They have a nice wine list, we got a bottle of red. One person in party ordered a Moscow Mule that was very strong.Server was good, but I think they were short-staffed. After the wine was poured, we did not see them that much (we had to pour wine ourselves) and then we never got bread and could not say anything about it (although other tables seemed to get bread). Others brought out the food. The appetizers were mixed. The short ribs were outstanding, just melt in your mouth. The crab cakes though were just kind of OK and not really much crab in them.I ordered the Cowboy rib-eye with a side of onions. That was the best thing of the meal, it was a great cut of meat cooked just perfect. What was odd was that someone ordered the filet which is the same price, but this was not quite as good. Then we also ordered some French fries, but they were kind of soggy, not at all what you should expect from a place like this.We decided to eat somewhere else. If you come, stick to the short ribs and cowboy rib-eye.
Be the first to ReplyWe've been to Gallagher's twice now and both times we left
We've been to Gallagher's twice now and both times we left saying... meh... This time, they are in the middle of a major remodel, so we were seated in the banquet room that they are currently using as a dining room. It's really small and cramped but that didn't impact my review as I realize it's a temporary situation. Weird thing - we made our reservation for 4:30 (don't judge - I'm a morning person) and at 4 pm we received a text saying our table was ready. We freaked out and hurried to get downstairs only to be told by the hostess that they knew our reservation was at 4:30 but they like to "alert people when a table is ready"... I don't prefer this method. Let me know when my table is ready AT the time I made the reservation. Our server was fantastic. The service is by far the best thing about Gallagher's. I have been watching these amazing videos of luscious crab legs from other places in Vegas so I asked about getting just crab instead of the seafood tower and he informed me that there was a crab special for $133... pricey but we were playing with house money so... let's GO! The table bread is cold and just OK... white bread and a more interesting cranberry version. But not great. We weren't drinking that evening but our water and iced tea was refilled constantly. My SO had the Dry-Aged New York Strip ($65), and since we were sharing things, our excellent waiter made sure to portion off some for me and get us extra plates. I didn't love the steak nor did my SO. It was cooked to a proper medium rare but so chewy. I really only had one bite and this might be the only steak I've never seen my SO not finish. The crab legs were a mixed bag. Some were very fresh and tasty. Others were mushy and very fishy. Copious amounts of butter and lemon were necessary. They definitely were not worth $133. We also had a side of the Yukon Gold Potato Purée ($13)... good. It's exciting that Gallagher's is remodeling - the current place never seemed like a high-end steakhouse. But we don't see any reason to go back. There are so many better chop houses in Vegas and this one just doesn't rise to the occasion - except again for the service, which was befitting of a truly good steakhouse. The food didn't match, unfortunately.
Be the first to ReplyThis place has gone downhill.
I don't know if it was because they were remodeling but the meal was not great. My husband makes better steaks at home. We had 2 ribeyes and a filet. We ordered the mashed potatoes, asparagus and bacon Mac n cheese. My sons ribeye was burnt. Black on the outside and inedible. He couldn't eat about a 1/4 of it. My husband ordered his medium and it was rare in the inside. My filet was also burnt on the outside. The Mac n cheese was super grainy and salty. The best part of the meal was the asparagus, free bread and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were so smooth.

Super disappointing to have to leave this review for one of my use to be favorite places for steak in Vegas. They were undergoing renovations but we decided to give them a shot anyways. I'm regards to the atmosphere or inter-I'm dining area; it seemed like a large storage closet with some tables set up and a temporary bar. The service surprisingly was good. That is something I cannot take away from the restaurant. As for the food: The clam chowder, was inedible, more of a chunk stew than a nice chowder. We ordered steaks and they all lacked any type of seasoning or accuracy on the way they were cooked. I ordered a steak medium well and it was charred like a hockey puck. Another medium on the table was still pulsing, and the simplest baked potato had to be sent back not once, or twice but three times since it kept coming out cold. Sides were good. Just super disappointing to have an almost 700 dinner and everyone have a poor experience. I'm all for sending back an item or two max if something's wrong, but sending back everyone's good would have just been ridiculous. This is one of those experiences that unfortunately will change this place from a frequent visit to a last visit. I'd have to really think twice about giving this place another shot.

Scott , our waiter, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable as a "professional ribeye eater" and was very kind. He recommended the cowboy ribeye and it did not disappoint.

The food was OK, steak was delicious but the chicken was overcooked. Appetizers were over salted but cooked OK.Service was excellent. For the price that would've expected more. What are oysters Rockefeller, they were very very small. Not a value

Holy moly!! I ordered the surf & turf and it was the absolute best I've ever had!! I tried Gordon R's place the week before and it can't even compare. The lobster was huge and it was served with plenty of drawn butter. The ribeye steak was huge, juicy and grilled to perfection. The service is over the top! Forget the buffets and Gordon you know who, Gallegher's is the best! I will definitely be sure to dine here every time I visit Vegas...alot lol.
Be the first to ReplyGrab your pitchforks and flames.
..I'm going to be honest. I made reservations for Gallaghers on 3/28/2022 for Sunday 6/26/2022. I was so excited, even to the point of stalking everyone else's photos and checking the menu. For almost 3 months I was setting my eyes on the salmon and creamed spinach. Yeah yeah, ordering seafood at a steakhouse in the middle of the desert? Doesn't matter, if you promote yourself as a great restaurant it should not matter what I ordered-food should still be consistent which by reading other reviews...the consistency of food temperature is not up to par.Reservations worked. My party of 5 did not have to wait more than 10 min to get seated. Service was great. The bread was probably my favorite part of the meal. They give you bread and butter. I order the salmon, ordered the creamed spinach to which I was told "we have been out of that all day." What? Ok...so make some more? Talk about disappointment, my fiancé really put this place on a very high bar, but after being told the one thing I was looking forward to was out-I was bummed. But whatever, I ordered the calamari instead. If you follow me and have looked at previous reviews-you know what a temperature whore I am. I like my food HOT temperature wise. I was not impressed with the salmon or the calamari because they showed up to the table mildly warm. It was almost as if they cooked my meal first, then let it sit while everyone else's meals were getting cooked, because everyone else's plate had hot food. For the price that was paid, I don't think it's absurd of me to expect hot food.I'll tell you what, I can go to Ruth Chris steakhouse and know I'm getting hot food for the same price. I can also go to Outback Steakhouse and know I'm getting hot food.

I had the displeasure of dining here with a friend, not by choice but by pure persuasion. The steaks lacked flavor, were like warm when they arrived and the sides were bland. This places comes off as a fancy steak house but is no better than outback, and in my honest opinion outback takes more care for their meats. Save yourself the hassle and make the trip to "The Cut" .. by wolf gang puck. The only thing this place has going for it is black jack tables a stones throw away, Oh and NO bathrooms inside the restaurant!
