Korean BBQ pork
3 quick tips on getting a table - First of all, reservations is not available so we got there at 9:50am, 10 minutes before sign up starts for the day, which is 1.5 hours before the restaurant opens at 11:30 am. Despite getting there quite early, we were 4th in line on a Thursday afternoon. Secondly, sign up is made via catchtable app, would be a lot easier if u have this app installed ahead, phone number is no longer needed for sign up (we got a local sim with voice thinking we might need that but turn out we could have just got the data only sim) Thirdly Make sure you get back in time when they call your position, if you donโt show up, will need to sign up again. We were seated on 2nd floor, which is all bar seating and appears to be for parties of 2 or less. The staff does all the cooking. Foodwise, we ordered set meal for 2, which includes pork belly, pork neck and pork cheek, kimchi stew with pork belly, mushrooms, basil. Kimchi stew tastes towards the sour side, which helps offset the oily flavor of pork belly. I would say if we were going to visit again, we likely skip the set meal and order just pork belly and pork neck only. Service wise, it was a bit disappointing. There were around 5 parties total on 2nd floor but only 2 staff supporting all of us, which I believe have changed as I thought originally it was 1 staff supports 1 parties/table to ensure meat got cooked in perfection, probably thatโs the reason why we felt our meat were slightly overcooked. If I visit Seoul again, would I spend 1.5 hours wait for this - maybe but I may want ti explore local bbq joints

Actually Iโm waiting for 2 hours. But it is worth to wait. Not that cheap but not too expensive. Love the vibes and I canโt wait to coming back again

Of course we had to wait - like anyone else - but we took that time to enjoy a coffee in a shop next door as the heat was sweltering this afternoon. Once we were let in, we found a lot of tables still free, so it gave the impression the queuing was maintained to keep the legend alive, but there is of course no way to be sure of that. The food was good, but to us not really outstanding. Having said that we did not regret the adventure even if it was only for the friendly service and having everything prepared and BBQ'ed right in front of you. Did we enjoy? Yes. Would we go back? Probably not.

The restaurant was established in year 2016 and has been awarded Michelin Bib Gourmand since year 2019. - 0.3% domestic premium hybrid pigs (white+black+brown) are being provided, and therefore, texture is chewy and inside is juicy. The signature one is Snowflake Pork Butt (๋๊ฝ๋ชฉ์ด). The name is derived from the marbling which is like a snowflake. Pork Neck (๋ฑ๋ชฉ์ด) has very good chewy texture between the Sirloin and Pork Neck. Grilled Pork Belly (๋ณธ์ผ๊ฒน) or Dorsal Pork Neck, and Rib Finger are also very delectable! - It has good values for the money. - British Maldon Sea Salt also matches well with the meat. - By using patented clean briquettes which make safe to remove the harmful hydrogen sulfide, the unique fire taste of briquettes can be enjoyed. - Santori highball machines is helpful for enjoying highball for a long time in a cool state because the ratio of highball and soda is set at 1:3 and come directly from highball machine. (recommend: Santori highball -> Hibiki highball -> Yamazaki highball) Good ingredients, cheerful vibe and top notch service are leading harmony to unison. Neither reservation nor valet parking is available, but full of waiting guests every day. We can know why, once we try the first piece. The restaurant is recommended for friends, couples and also for family.

Prepare for waiting more than 1 hour especially meal time. We went about 2.30 PM but still have to wait 1 hour.. Overall food taste are great, quality and delicious. Good service from staffs. Price is not cheap.

Very nice pork belly
Had pork belly and kimchi stew. The staff will cook the meat for you and it taste great. The kimchi stew is a bit sour but still good. Delicious meal but i would recommend ๋์ฌ๋ for similar price

This restaurant was a bit of a challenge to find as we had more than one name, and at least two different addresses (one for the front and the other for the street it backs up to) for the same establishment. There are actually three floors of restaurants โ all, we think, are branches of the same Gold Pig. When one arrives, they put their name on a list posted on the wall and since the upper floors begin serving at 6:00 pm, at that time one can opt for which floor they would prefer or simply select โfirst available.โ Between customers, the servers totally clean the grill and exhaust system, and set the table for the next customers with lettuce and perilla leaves, flaked salt, kimchi and sauces. We ordered the pork belly and pork skin which were efficiently cooked by the staff โ after generously lubricating the hot grill with pork fat -- along with spring onions, garlic cloves and a trumpet mushroom which is first cooked in foil, then sliced and grilled. Should we return, I would pass on the skin which doesnโt become crispy, but rather gelatinous and chewy. Yes, there was a wait since there are only 11 tables in the ground floor restaurant, but the food was delicious and well prepared, the service very welcoming even for us non-Korean speakers. The restaurant does accept credit cards and I do not believe they take reservations -- only the posted list.
