Gordon Ramsay Bread Street Kitchen & Bar Liverpool One Reviews from The Last Year
Let's go
I came here in january and the place was really beautiful, the barman Danilo delicious me with a spectacular drink, thanks
Best place in Liverpool
One of the best place in Liverpool where I had a good time with my friends. The food was very delicious and the drinks was very nice…we asked to Danilo, the barman, advices and he recommended us some drinks never tried before. When I back to Liverpool I absolutely back here again.
Great cocktails
I came on Saturday night, I ate very well, I drank some magnificent cocktails, thanks Danilo, I will definitely be back 👋🏻
Fun and comfortable evening.
I had an excellent evening with friends: beautiful environment, excellent service and particularly expert and friendly staff (especially Danilo, a great bartender!)
Great cocktails
Great place and lovely service. The cocktail man was very friendly and professional. Amazing cocktail from Dan. Also the food was just delicious.
Nice food but Best drink
I had lunch with friends, nice place, the food is good and the drinks are absurd, I had the barman Danilo recommend a drink and it was amazing.
Excellent
I was here by chance and luck! i'm met Danilo, the barman (really gourgeous!) and he made me try a Paloma when i told him that i love tequila! I love this cocktails and his very very kind with me!
Service and food 10/10
First time and not the last in this lovely place . The food was great and the service made our experience even better! Huge thanks to Dominika for taking care of us and made this day special!
Flawless
Excellent service, staff brilliant and food delicious. The wellington is something you have GOT to try! Thank you for such a great lunch!
An exceptional dining experience
I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience last night with a group of friends. From the moment we arrived, the service was truly top-notch. Our server was phenomenal - attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time. He made excellent recommendations and ensured our drinks were always full and our food arrived in a timely manner. The entire staff seemed to share this high level of customer service. And the food...it was absolutely delicious.
Kids eat free!
This was honestly such a gorgeous dinner. We had the tuna suggested by our lovely waitress and the wellington of course! From start to finish we felt so looked after. The kids all got to eat for free too which was a pleasant surprise.
Son's birthday
Thank you to the whole team for making my son's birthday so special. He's a huge Gordon Ramsay fan and has always wanted to dine in a Ramsay restaurant. The waitress talked us through the whole menu and we had a lovely birthday dessert made for us. Love love
Voucher deal that turned out to be very expensive due to drink prices
We visited for a lunch early evening set menu that was a prepaid voucher as a gift for Christmas from our son. We where realy looking forward to the meal and had looked online and made our choices ahead of arriving It stated it was for a 3 course menu. with a choice of 3 starters 3 mains and 3 desserts. We chose our starters cod bites and chicken wings and the main of a sea bass to share. We ordered a bottle of red wine that appeared to be £27 on the menu. We where then told that they didn't have sea bass and we could choose the pasta or the chicken burger. We said this is not acceptable and we did get a cod main instead. The food was OK and the desserts ok too and the wine was nice too and the service was ok too. However we got a shock when the bill came and the wine was not £27. as expected hut was in fact £54 and there was also a service charge added so bill £62. for 1 bottle of red wine We had misread the menu and £27 was for only half bottle. We agreed reluctantly to pay for the wine as it was our mistake but we think the way its worded on the menu is very misleading. Overall we felt that it was a huge rip off for an average bottle of wine and misleading the way the wine menu was printed. So would I ever go back. Highly unlikely a real disappointment.

Bread Street Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay's spot in London, is a top-notch dining experience. The place has a cool vibe with its modern style and open kitchen. The service was friendly, and our server knew the menu inside out.
Liverpool has many better places to eat.
Went for my cousins birthday dinner while visiting Liverpool. This restaurant was a disappointment. The menu has nice options and many of the items were a good choice. The food that comes out of the kitchen is lackluster and lazy. We had weak appetizers. They were cold and just taken out of the refrigerator. Not freshly made or allowed to come to temperature. COLD is never a good taste. The main was fine to poor…. We did say something and the manager came and belittled us. Not professional. Looks like the bloom is off the Gordon Ramsay brand. P.S. I rated it a two star because the waitress was professional and attentive. Should have been a 1 star.
Lovely waitress, terrible manager.
When you enter the restaurant the room is immediately welcoming. The understated decor is beautiful. We sat by the window for my cousins birthday and our lovely waitress made us feel welcome right away. The family ordered shared starters, one of which was great with the other 2 lacking in taste. When we asked for the burrata to be served less cold for taste we were told by the manager that he was Italian and knew more about food then we did and that burrata was only served cold. Our burrata was literally freezing and tasteless. The main courses arrived. The steak and ribs were all lovely. My lamb roganjosh was disgusting. I immediately sent it back and did not request another dish as the ribs were large enough for me to share my husbands. Same manager then interrupted us as we ate to berate me regarding my awful lamb dish. This man was utterly unprofessional. If Mr Ramsay’s team read this review please do something about the attitude in this restaurant. It does nothing for your cool brand. The restaurant was empty at 9:15pm on a Saturday night when we left. Perhaps others have experienced the same chilly manager!
Beef Wellington Experience
Went for the beef wellington experience, the food was nice, not amazing. Drinks are definitely where the restaurant makes most of its profit.
Nice vibe and food, nothing extra special.
Visited with a virgin experience voucher with 3 course set menu. Paid £24 , the set menu we could choose from was £22, so a bit mifffed that voucher more expensive than deal on the day. 4 Choices for each course. We had cod bites, chicken parmagiano and cheese cake. Food was tasty and wait time was okay. No water offered for table. Had to pay extra for fries/salad. Nice vibe and service okay. At the end we used the QR code on the table to pay our bill. Service charge of 12.5% automatically added, plus an extra charge for using that checkout method, then it asked if we wanted to leave an extra tip for our server, so quite a lot added costs. Overall was nice but nothing special.
Lovely meal
Lovely meal, raviolini was a little Al Dente for my personal choice, however overall a lovely meal and experience, staff were friendly and attentive without being over the top
Very disappointing!!!!
Service was terrible and lacklustre, waited to be seated, waited ages for drinks order, had to ask if we could order drinks, then had to ask through our meal for more drinks. The food was alright but nothing that i couldn't have made better at home, been here before and it was way better, we would not go back. £17 for a curry without rice is just ridiculous, the saffron rice side was over powering the curry, the mac n cheese was dry, not seasoned and bland. The sting in the tail was the £30 service charge!! We wont be back.
First off, our server was so nice and funny.
He was great. The food, was abysmal. For years we have loved watching any shows with Gordon Ramsay and was so excited to try his restaurant while on vacation from the states. My husband has always wanted to try his beef Wellington. It was honestly one of the worst meals we have ever had. The beef still had a ton of sinew and cartilage. It was supposed to be medium rare but truly don't even know how it was cooked. The mushroom ring around it was burnt to absolute he** and back. It was totally inedible. We had 4 people and we all wanted to try it so we got two orders. We also got an app and a side of Mac and cheese. None of us had alcohol but instead all had 1 soda. The only good dish was the sticky toffee pudding. The bill was shocking at around 365 pounds for the worst meal of our lives. Skip this place. It was also quite dead inside, first red flag. I think Gordon needs to visit his own restaurant and really have a proper meal there. Horrifying.
Good but wouldn’t return due to the dim lights
Good tasting hot food limited menu choices though Nice touches with proper napkins chilled glasses for the beer , Mayo and tomato sauce were in tiny pots with lids which was nice Service good but the one thing that woujd deter me from returning is the lighting I know it is mood lighting etc but we both struggled to see the menu with our glasses on. It was so dimly lit the dark very off putting if they could just light it a little bit brighter it would be great Prices not cheap but good free kids menu if you have kids food was really tasty
5 stars for sticky pudding 5 stars for butter chicken &
5 stars for sticky pudding 5 stars for butter chicken & lamb korma 4 stars for steak 2 stars for service 2 stars for being overpriced for including sides, bread & water. Prefer Ramsay's restaurants we've been to in Las Vegas!
Everyone's steak at our table was undercooked.
Service took forever. Waiters will look your way and ignore you despite restaurant being empty. The ambiance was decent but unfortunately that's the only good thing about this restaurant. For a restaurant, especially for one with Gordon Ramsay's name on it, it was a horrible experience. I could have gotten a better meal at McDonald's for a tenth of the price
Bland food, service took over an hour with less than 10
Bland food, service took over an hour with less than 10 people inside, ambiance was nice though. Get it together Gordon
I was called to ask if I could move my 7:30pm reservation
I was called to ask if I could move my 7:30pm reservation to 5pm and told them to hold it and I would confirm. It wasn't going to work so I called to cancel and they indicated they were keeping the full $300+ deposit and wouldn't make an exception. Horrendous service.
Very disappointing.
Sat down at 7 and dinner arrived at 8:50. Yes I ordered apps that were good but regardless dinner took forever. My ribeye was supposed to be Medium rare. Was cooked medium. They fixed quickly with a new steak. I give them that but it tasted like a ribeye from chili's. My wife's COD was tasty. I think slapping Gordon's name on this restaurant raised the expectations and unfortunately they weren't meet.
shut it down! Gordon is off the rails with this place.
Each dish tasted like it could have been a frozen meal.. The only thing we enjoyed was the bread, which of course you had to pay extra for. Don't waste your time or money. At least we got comped for the one dish we really complained about and didn't finish or take home.
Being from the States, it was the first time I experienced
Being from the States, it was the first time I experienced the unlimited Spritz and Mimosas for brunch. Their selections were great. The food was very good, but they overcooked my beef wellington. Instead of returning it and waiting for a new one (which would take another 45mins), I decided to just eat it but I did let them know how disappointed I was. Despite all of that, I still found the dish tasty, just not to my liking. Overall, I would still recommend the place. It is a bit pricey, but not ridiculously expensive.
Came here for breakfast and it was packed.
Lots of people in dress shirts doing the power lunch thing. The actual menu is unsurprising and uninspiring. Standard breakfast fare. There were two standouts, however. The first is that the staff could not have been nicer. Klaudette and Signe were so courteous and professional, and were super understanding about seating me before the whole party arrived, and letting me go a bit unreasonable with my order, which was an orange juice...and something off the dinner menu. They had to check with Chef Vanina, who came out of the kitchen to confirm the order. The beef wellington was cooked perfectly. Crispy, juicy, tender, flavorful. And the two little cups of jus that it came with were delicious. The side of mashed potatoes were a bit much (gotta draw the line somewhere buddy) but I left so happy not just because they prepared a great meal for me, but because the staff had the open mindedness to let this jetlagged American order the house special at an odd hour. I cannot wait for an excuse to get back.
Food was good will be back to try other offerings dessert
Food was good will be back to try other offerings dessert was bomb too the monkey shoulder crancran cheesecake id recommend
Stopped by Sunday evening.
Place was pretty empty as it was the weekend but drinks and food were great. Had the crispy duck salad - it was really good. Servers were really nice too.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
