Gyozadokoro Takatsuji Sukemasa Kyoto Reviews from The Last Year
Great little find. Around corner from Mimaru hotel.
Cute little restaurant (only takes 15 or so people). Friendly staff who spoke English. Yummy dumplings. Quick. Well priced. Perfect for a cheap yummy family dinner.
Best gyoza ever
Maybe the best gyoza you will ever have. Don't miss this place. It's not easy to arrive there as there are no public transportation near the restaurant. I got there via Uber. The place seems to be always crowded, so make a plan B in case the wait is too long.
Little Gyoza paradise
Hidden and in a secluded position from the more touristy neighborhoods, this small restaurant which offers only and exclusively fantastic pork Gyoza is worth a visit.
Want gyoza? This is the place.
Top quality gyoza in a tiny restaurant. We stayed nearby at the Mimaru Suites Kyoto Shijo and paid a visit based on their book of recommendations. And what a recommendation it is. This place is mentioned by the Michelin guide for its gyoza. That’s all they do, and they do it brilliantly. Choose 6 or 12 gyoza with or without accompaniments. Drinks are similarly simple and cheap. We left with full bellies having had a brilliant night. Staff speak great English and even put up with my rubbish Japanese skills. If you’re in the area, go here. No questions, just do it.
Very good
Very good gyoza in this little restaurant off the main street, excellent meal, very friendly staff, I recommend this place
Excellent gyoza, simple menu and comfortable inside
It was very close to a Mimaru hotel we stayed at, and we just wanted to get something simple for dinner. The menu is as simple as it gets, pick a different # of gyoza and sides you want and you are done, The Gyoza were delicious, fresh and crispy, and they come with tasty oils and sauce on the side. If I lived nearby, I would probably be visiting this place often. They do one thing really well so you can be guaranteed a good meal if you like gyoza of course. The place is small, but my family of 4 were able to sit straight away at the bar.
Delicious Gyoza in Kyoto
Stumbled upon this delicious gyoza bar in Kyoto as it was close to our apartment accommodation (Mimaru kyoto nishinotoin takatsuji). A very small restaurant (maybe 14 seats), visited on Saturday night around 8.30pm. There was a line out the front however you put your name on the waiting list and only waited a few mins to be seated. As there was only 2 of us we were seated at the bar which was nice to see the action in the small kitchen. The menu is very simple (only 1 type of gyoza) and you select a set (with 6 or 12 gyoza and sides such as miso, rice etc). Gyoza were delicious and the chef (who took our order) also suggested to try with his chilli oil which was delicious. Highly recommend for a quick delicious meal in Kyoto

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
