HaBasta Tel Aviv Reviews from The Last Year
Disappointing in a lovely place
We loved this place for years. We came to celebrate. Appetisers were good as always. main meat courses disappointing. Were dry and some uneatable… unfortunately. Service as always was efficient
Excellent
Best meal in Israel A MUST. Very creative and unique variety of dish. The best way to describe it “בין צרפת ונצרת” with a Spanish flair
Overpriced OK Food, Market Vibe, Nothing to write home about
Habasta is located within the Carmel Market and as such uses fresh ingredients. The food is highly overpriced and value-for-money is low. Service is OK. Atmosphere is nice with Market vibes. The food itself is ok but not Gourme, or Chef Level so set your expectations accordingly
Phenomenal dinner experience
Visited for dinner after it was recommended by a friend who lives in Tel Aviv. The best meal we had in 2 weeks in Jordan/ Israel. The food was exceptional, service fantastic (huge thank you to Asaf who was lovely), and really cool atmosphere sat at the bar. Highly recommend!

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
